“Very highly recommended! Chantal and her husband were great caretakers for our two dogs for a week’s time — even more than we could have expected. They have a beautiful, spacious, safe place — both indoors and for when they had to go outside. My husband and I felt 100% comfortable leaving them there while we were away. From the beginning during our meet-and-greet through pick-up at the end of our trip, we saw just how kind and calm they were, treating our dogs just like their own dog and providing lots of interaction and play. Also, Chantal was extremely accommodating of our 7 month old puppy’s “puppy behavior” and attentive to the need to go outside more frequently. She provided updates every day (and was very responsive to other questions) and we could see just how relaxed our pups were, as if they were staying with family. About: I’ve been around a lot of animals in my life and I have worked with dogs to a whole room of reptiles at a camp. I lived along side a parrot most my life and cats as well. I currently have a sweet loving 9 year old black lab and a fun 3 year old labradoodle. I’m a stay at home mom who homeschools as well and play outside a lot with my children and my dogs. I know how much your pets mean to you, and I'm dedicated to ensuring their happiness and well-being while you're away. I've been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. Neighbors and family friends knew they could rely on me to feed, walk, and care for their pets. They never had to worry about them while they were in my care. Being a pet owner myself, I know that pets are more than animals that live with you. They’re your comfort during the good, bad, and the ugly, they’re cuddle buddies on cold stormy nights and your best friends. More importantly, they’re family. When your dog is with me, he/she will be treated like one of the family. I am currently a college student attending classes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. I am free the rest of the day, in between classes and mornings to play with your pups! If you need me for a drop-in or to walk your dog during those hours I can between 10 am and 12:30. I am also available for house-sitting on weekends. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priorities. I believe communication is essential for quality service and customer satisfaction. If you ever need to contact me while I’m with your pet, a number will be provided for you to text or call. As a Rover user myself, I appreciate sitters who consistently keep me updated on my pet’s status. I will update you with pictures of your pup and all our endeavors while we’re together.

About: I have been raising and caring for a variety of animals for over 25 years! Having experience with all kinds of animals, I know the importance of meeting the needs of each animal and giving it the love and care it deserves and desires. I have several families that reach out to me when they are planning a trip so that I can care for their pets while they are away. I understand the importance of maintaining the pet owners routine, commands, and affection with their pets to help reduce anxiety and stress while they are away. My goal is to love their pets as if they are my own. I have cared for our own dogs as seniors and have experience with failing body functions and know how to administer medications and assist the animal with getting up and moving around. I also have much experience with puppies since I breed Australian Shepherds and care for the puppies from the time they are born until they are at an appropriate age and health standard to go to their new families. It’s hard enough to say good-bye, so having peace of mind on how they will be cared for while you are away can make a good trip a GREAT one!! I am available most days of the week for 24/7 care since we are a homeschooling family and I am a stay at home mom. Pets are allowed in our home as long as they get along well with other pets and children. I do have an in-ground fence and collars that I can use to teach your pet to stay in our yard. I also have two nice size kennels that give dogs plenty of room to wander inside and outside the kennel walls.
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, I have a cat currently and family members have always had dogs and cats. I volunteered at the Humane Society throughout high school and have lots of experience pet sitting! 😻 I also used to foster kittens which I loved doing. I love being around animals and caring for them. I am a student working part time, so that gives me plenty of free time to check in on your furry friends throughout the day, take them on walks, and spend the night with them! I am a trustworthy person who will respect your space as I would my own and leave it better than I found it. I have my EMT-b certification and am working currently as an RBT, so I have been through several background checks and first aid trainings. About: I love animals every one of them. It's very therapeutic to me. I don't have all of the experience as most people who are on here, however I'm very patient with animals I have grown up with animals my entire life and I've always enjoyed the responsibility of taking care of a pet. I go above and beyond for any animal,(including wildlife) every animal deserves dignity, especially when they are apart of a family. I am very calm even when animals may be fretted or not sure. It's all about body language. I have a lab and I enjoy taking him hiking, bike riding, and sometimes just simply loving the cuddles and kisses while relaxing. Animals love me I don't know what it is about me but I enjoy giving the I currently am in college at Liberty University, but I’m online, which gives me a lot of availability to care for and love on others pets. I’m not an animal whisperer by any means, haha, however, I feel like it sometimes. Animals in general but dogs really have a special place in my heart they are just drawn to me and I’m drawn to them. I pay a lot of attention to their body language. I think that’s super important. I am a jogger and love to be outside and stimulation for a dog is super essential in pet care and I always make sure that I’m not only giving tons of kisses and love while their hoomans are gone but ensure they are thriving and they feel safe and comfortable with me. It’s my only goal. They are amazing animals and while kennels aren’t a a terrible option, I find it more comforting to the animal to be in their own home.
About: I’ve been around a lot of animals in my life and I have worked with dogs to a whole room of reptiles at a camp. I lived along side a parrot most my life and cats as well. I have been pet sitting for a lot of my life for friends, neighbors, and family! I pride myself on my love for animals and my ability to bond with them. I’m happy to do anything asked of me as well to make it easy for the pet owners and easier for the pets. I currently do not have a job because I left teaching to further pursue something I love which would be animals. Besides doing little trips here and there, I will be available most days, especially the mornings and evenings (so morning walks and evening walks for bed time). I can stay over night at houses as well. I am, of course, fine with weekends as well! I am working on making this my career as much as I can. I am trying not to have to go too far from home for dog walking but house sitting and pet sitting I’m fine to go farther especially when staying at the house there. It will cost more though. I am good with crating and good with most size animals. I work with all sizes. I love to interact and love on the animals instead of just going in, feeding and letting them out and that’s it. Unless for some reason your animal doesn’t want loving, I will do what they prefer. I also am always willing to brush your fluffy babies, I can help with that as well! I will only have myself and no other animal with me because I will not bring an animal to my home. I will like to meet and greet just to make sure I and the animal will get along okay.
About: I have lots of experience working with a variety of different animals including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and exotics. I have been assisting a friend for a few years walking dogs and figured it's time to offer my individual services! I will be home majority of the day to take care of any critters under my roof. I currently have no pets of my own to tend to other than some axolotls, so I am completely open to whatever needs an animal has. Inside my own home, I have a very minimalist approach to decor so there isn't much for animals to get injured on or involved with. I can take dogs out to the backyard for potty breaks and playtime and I also live a short walk from a park. Inside your home, I can care for a dog or cat however you instruct.
