âThis was my first time to use Rover. I chose Megan because she had great reviews, this will be another good one. She was taking care of my three cats while I was gone for a week. She was very professional, showed up when she said and took very good care of my animals.â

About: I have about 5 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages and energy levels. I follow care instructions closely, prioritize safety and routine, and love keeping owners updated with photos and messages. Hi! Iâm Marissa, a responsible and caring animal lover with over 5 years of experience caring for dogs. Iâm patient, attentive, and love making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I take pride in following care instructions closely. Iâm reliable, detail-oriented, and happy to send updates and photos so you can feel at ease while youâre away. My fiancĂŠ and I have an almost 2-year-old Aussie, so Iâm very familiar with daily routines, playtime, and providing a safe, loving environment for pets in our home. I work part-time and attend school at LSUE a few hours two days a week, which gives me a flexible schedule for morning, afternoon, and evening care. I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort in both my home and my clientâs home. I follow all care instructions closely, keep pets in a clean and secure environment, and make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always properly secured. I respect routines and communicate immediately if anything seems off. I treat every pet and home as if they were my own.

I used to do Rover around my job but I recently became a stay at home mom so Iâm available most whenever to see the fur babies. Respecting pets starts with respecting owners. About: Ever since I was a little girl Iâve loved animals. I think fur babies are the sweetest thing because although theyâre only with you for a little of their lives, youâre with them for all of theirs. I currently have a Shih Tzu & tuxedo cat of my own named Marble who are big babies. I currently work remotely Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM so Iâll be home just about the whole day with your furry ones! Potty breaks, walks, and movie nights here wonât be a problem! I have a large yard next to my house so potty breaks wonât be a problem. Also I have an adult fixed Shih Tzu that loves naps, belly rubs, and playing to keep your fur one company!
About: Ever since the age of 10 Iâve had responsibilities for our pets; taking them out to potty, playing/exercising, cleaning up any accidents, making sure they have food and water, and bathing. I would be happy to take care of and love on your babies! Iâm currently on summer break from college and dog sitting is my only job so I have plenty of time available to care for your pets. I donât board any pets at my house, but I do go to the clientâs home. I can stay over at the house if thatâs what the client would prefer, or do drop-ins.

âNicole responded quickly to our last minute request the next day. We forgot to leave the right key out, so she contacted us via email. Once we directed her where to find our hidden key, she made another trip back so she could let our dogs out. She was great with our two min pins, they were happy to see her when she stopped by the next day to meet us as we didnât have time before her first visit. Nicole is friendly, responsible, and takes her assignment seriously. We will definitely contact her again in the future if she is available.â

About: I have raised dogs all my life. Currently my family has a large home on 5 acres. We have two, large dogs, a cat, and chickens. I am available for drop ins and boarding. I am available for feeding and/or caring for farm animals as well! I also have experience with rabbits, ferrets, and bearded dragons. If needed I can give shots and oral medication as I do have experience with this as well. I hope to see you and your pet soon! My husband and I both currently work full-time, both of us are home by 5 pm each day. My day schedule is flexible and allows me time to do drop ins when needed. When home we spend a lot of time outside. We do not have a fenced in yard, but have no problem with walking on a leash if needed. We live on 5 acres of land that allows plenty of room to run and play. If needed I can crate your pet as needed.
About: Iâve been caring for animals my entire life and currently share my home with three dogs and three cats of my own. Animals have always been central to my life, and I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while youâre away. In addition to lifelong pet ownership, I have extensive experience in dog rescue. At one point I was actively caring for and rehabilitating 14 dogs at once, working with animals from a variety of backgrounds, temperaments, and medical needs. That experience taught me patience, strong observation skills, and how to quickly recognize changes in behavior or health. Iâm comfortable caring for pets at every life stage â energetic puppies and kittens, adult animals with established routines, and seniors who need extra time and compassion. I also have hands-on experience with special needs pets, including administering medications, maintaining detailed care schedules, and assisting animals with mobility challenges. Most recently, I cared for a senior pit bull with hind-end weakness who required lifting assistance to stand and walk, along with consistent medication management. Providing calm, steady support for pets who need extra help is something I truly enjoy. My goal is to keep your petâs routine familiar and low-stress while providing dependable care, lots of affection, and clear communication so you always know how things are going at home. I treat every pet as if they were my own and provide regular photo and message updates so you always know your pet is safe, comfortable, and happy while youâre away. I currently work part-time as a work-from-home contractor, which allows me a very flexible schedule and makes it easy to adapt my day around pet care needs. Because Iâm home much of the time, Iâm able to provide consistent attention, regular check-ins, and reliable care throughout the day. I plan my schedule around the pets Iâm caring for to ensure feeding times, walks, medication schedules, and companionship needs are met without disruption. Whether itâs short visits, overnight stays, or extended care, Iâm able to adjust my routine to prioritize your petâs comfort and consistency. When caring for pets in a clientâs home, my priority is maintaining their normal routine and environment as closely as possible to reduce stress. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medication needs, and any specific behavioral or medical guidelines. I approach each home with respect and responsibility, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly as I found them. I understand the importance of trust when someone is caring for both your pets and your space, and I communicate regularly so you always know how things are going. With experience caring for animals of all agesâincluding rescues, seniors, and pets with special medical needsâIâm comfortable adapting to whatever level of care is required. My goal is always to provide calm, attentive care so your pets feel safe, understood, and well cared for in your absence.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Moss Bluff
Bayleigh is fantastic! She is genuine and reliable and just a really great person. I wouldnât hesitate to recommend her and will absolutely be having her care for Remi again. Itâs great to feel free to travel and know that Remi is well cared for. Remi loves everybody, but he really took to Bayleigh, probably because of her calm and kind manner with him.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
