“Jeff and Shirley once again delivered a worry free weekend vacation for us. They greeted us and our dogs with warm welcome. We can see how exited our dogs got when they saw Shirley, Bonnie and Wesley immediately ran up to her and started licking her legs to show affection, true a testament that they really enjoyed and developed a relationship with our little fur babies. I highly recommended Jeff and Shirley because they do take care of our dogs as there own. Thank you for making our vacation hassle free and for taking care of our kids.”

“Samantha was great with my dog and two cats! She truly has the best interest of your pet at heart. Charlie loved boarding at Samantha’s house. She is consistent with pictures and updates giving me peace of mind my babies are happy and well. I’ll definitely be using Samantha in the future for dog and cat sitting.”

“Elizabeth was so amazing she took my request at the last minute literally 7 am in the morning she sent pictures of my baby girl she comminucated abd was overall a great experience with my fur baby thank you Elizabeth cant wait to book you again”

“Carly is simply put, fabulous. Quick to respond. Excellent communication and updates. Flexible and capable. Easy going, yet professional. My GSD who is slow to warm up and a "sensitive" soul was quite at home with her stay with Carly and her family. Will definitely be using her again. Such a relief to be able to travel for work and know my pet is taken care of.”

“I’ve used Rover on quite a few different occasions, but Jennifer & her family were the best sitters I’ve booked with yet. They’re just so super kind and accommodating, I can’t say enough good things about them. ? I got updates all throughout my dog’s stay, and she came back to me a tired pup (always a sign of a good time). 13/10 will book with them again!”

“I believe this was our 4th time booking with her, and it was another fantastic experience! Rose provides consistent, quality care each time, and seems to genuinely, truly care about our pups! They get lots of attention and play time and come home happy. I feel comfortable when they are with her, which I never have when boarding them with a vet or other service. I definitely recommend her and will continue to book with her!”

“Totally awesome and reliable sitter! My dog came home happy, well taken care of and he was clean 🙂 Renee also worked with my challenging schedule when I needed a few extra days of sitting shirt notice. Thank you so much!”

“Jesse was fantastic - Buster and I warmed to him straight away. I will most definitely be using Jesse again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a safe pair of hands to look after your fur baby.”

“Thank you so much, Jennifer! My puppy did great while with Jennifer and she sent photos and videos. He also was having some stomach issues and she got him some new food. Thank you again!! :) Would definitely book again!!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
