“So we have never ever left our 2 fur babies with anyone besides our daughter's. When we did a meet & great with Shirley & Jeff and read all the reviews, we knew these two were the best. We felt so comfortable at their home and so did our babies. All the time we were gone we got a picture of our babies enjoying their staycation ? it was absolutely Awesome. We would highly recommend these two great people for their babies! ?? We Loved them so much we booked them again for the middle of July! Thank You Again Shirley & Jeff for being Awesome to our Fur Babies ❤”

“Brooke was immediatly responsive to our request. She sent us updates, videos and pictures on her own. Her home was safe with baby gates and a fenced yard. She even bought her presents for Christmas. I recommend her and will definitely continue to use her in the future.”

“We left our 3 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi with Lorna for a week and we could not be happier with the care Lorna provided to our little fur baby. She sent us photos/videos twice a day, every day, which put our minds at ease as we had never left Ally for a whole week with any sitter. We highly recommend Lorna if you need a dog sitter. She’s the best sitter we’ve ever left Ally with before. If we could give her 10 stars, we would.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Samantha and her daughter. They were wonderful with my 11 year old pug and sent pictures to show me how he was doing during his three day stay with them. He loved making new furry and human friends and I will definitely be asking Samantha if he can come play with them again.”

“Stefanie was absolutely wonderful with my Lexi!!! She stayed in contact with us and was very flexible on times to drop off and pick up!! We loved the pictures and updates we would get daily! Lexi will definitely be back”

“We were taking the kids to great wolf lodge. This was a last minute booking Elizabeth was so accommodating. I sent the request at 1pm she replied immediately. Leo adapted well she sent updates on how he was adjusting which made me feel at ease since this was my first time leaving him. I would definitely recommend her if you’re in that area.”

“Rosaria took such good care of my Lexi!!! She kept me updated and went over and beyond to make sure Lexi was safe and well adjusted!! She even fixed her fresh turkey and pumpkin!!! She played so hard she slept the whole way home. 100% recommend”

“Carly was amazing! We have avoided going anywhere since moving cross country as our senior Labrador retriever has arthritis and some hearing and vision issues. When we had to leave town for a family emergency, we were grateful to have found Carly on Rover and scheduled a meet and greet. There were no reservations after meeting her and seeing how comfortable our dog was in her home. Carly was accommodating for her needs and sent us pics and updates on her stay. We highly recommend Carly and will not hesitate going out of town again.”
“I cannot say enough good things about Jennifer! There was great communication and photos during our trip. Also, we have one dog who always has trouble eating when we are away and this usually leads to gastro issues upon our return. We had none of these issues with Jennifer. Both of our dogs felt at home with her and we had zero issues when they returned! I would feel comfortable recommending Jennifer anyone!! I am so glad that we found her!”
“Angela is very nice and my pup Callie was in great shape when I picked her up. The fenced in yard is great and there is always someone around to keep an eye on the dogs.”

“Jesse did a great job taking care of our large mixed breed. She can be an anxious dog but she seems to have really settled down with Jesse. He sent us regular updates and pics to let us know how things were going. We will definitely be using Jesse again in the future.”

“Morgan is a treasure!, the perfect fit for my anxious little dog, who loved her almost immediately! It was so nice to know I had left her in such trustworthy hands. I would hire her again in a heartbeat! 5 ⭐️ sitter!”

“Amy and Jason are amazing!! Very welcoming!! Prepared; Mochi is part of their family when there, they treat her as one of their own! Could not have asked for more…Mochi returns home very calm and gets back into real life at home quickly. Thank you! If you are hesitant; don’t be!!”

“Jennifer was great!! I needed a last minute sitter and she was perfect. She did a great job keeping my baby boy and keeping me updated with pictures throughout his stay. Will definitely use her again when in the area!”

“Kat was more than amazing! We left our pup with her for 10 days and she not only took amazing care but also documented all of her food intake and stool health. Constantly took pictures! I’m sure this will not be the last time we leave our pup with Kat. We couldn’t have chosen a better sitter!”

“Shawna was the absolute best. I have never used Rover and was very nervous but she was awesome lots of pictures and communication while we were out of state and patient and flexible when our plans changed.”

About: I am a volunteer firefighter and a full time nanny. I have watched dogs since I was 13 years old and I have had dogs all of my life. I love all kinds of animals. Right now I have 2 dogs a 45 pound husky and a 90 pound American bulldog red boon coon hound mix. I also have three rescue cats and two bunnies one of my bunnies is a rescue bunny. My schedule is very flexible so I can work around the routine you already have set up for your dog. I can also work on house braking your dogs for you. I would like to know if your dog has any behavior problem, what thier normal routine is, what activities they like, what things they are scared of, if they have any health problems, and if they are up to date on shots and flea meds. I work Monday threw Friday 8-5 I’m not normally available during those hours to let animals out. I only work those hours during that time I keep my eyes on them at all times well they are outside and when going in and out the doors. Safety is to priority

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
