“This was the first time I used this service and was a little nervous about leaving my dogs while attending an out of state wedding. But my worries were put to rest at our meet and greet. Shirley and Jeff are so kind and friendly that I immediately felt comfortable leaving Bella and Gracie with them. And speaking about my fur babies, they fell in love with Shirley and Jeff and were so drawn to them that they completely ignored me LOL. On the day of drop off, my dogs were excited to see them again and didn’t even look back at me when I left. I highly recommend this loving couple to watch your fur babies and would definitely use them again.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Samantha and her daughter. They were wonderful with my 11 year old pug and sent pictures to show me how he was doing during his three day stay with them. He loved making new furry and human friends and I will definitely be asking Samantha if he can come play with them again.”

“Even I and dog don’t understand English very well, she really takes care of my dog !!! I really appreciate your kind support 😭!!! My dog is kind of very sensitive dog, but she treats my dog very well. She is really professional!!!! I am happy she accepts us 🙇 Thank you very much !”

“Lorna is awesome!!!! I will hire her in the future and I highly recommend her! She genuinely cares about your fur baby! I’m so glad I was able to find someone like her!!! Thanks so much Lorna!”

About: Hi! My name is Kayla, and I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I started dog sitting at people’s homes with my cousin when I was just 10 years old, and ever since then I’ve loved helping care for pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m currently the Executive Assistant at Pawsitively Posh Pet Resort & Spa and the Rescue Coordinator at Pawsitively Posh Pet Rescue, where I work hands-on with animals every day. I also have experience caring for diabetic dogs and understand the importance of routines, medications, and extra attention to their needs. Along with dogs, I’ve also helped care for horses and cows, so I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes. I would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby like they’re one of my own! 🐾 I have very flexible hours and will match your pet’s routine exactly. If you feed at 7–8am, I’ll do the same, and if dinner is at 6–7pm, I’ll follow that schedule too. If your pet needs medication, I’ll stay consistent with your timing as well. I don’t make your pet fit my schedule—I fit yours, so your pet stays comfortable and stress-free I have a safe, fenced yard and dogs of my own, so if your dog is friendly they’ll have a great companion—but if not, that’s completely okay too. I always adjust to your pet’s comfort level and needs, whether that means space, separation, or extra attention. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, relaxed, and truly at home while you’re away.
“10/10 Recommend! Elizabeth was polite and professional from start to finish. First time using this service and first time boarding Dynah and she was in the best care! Pet meet went smoothly and received regular updates which put my mind at ease seeing my dog make new friends. Elizabeth went above and beyond to have her home set up to make Dynah comfortable! My dog was happy and tired from having so much fun. She answered any questions I had, and attended to all my special requests. Thank you again!”

“Carly was amazing with our dog Cece. She took our booking pretty last minute and was super accommodating with drop off and pick up times. Cece loved running around in her backyard!”

“We love leaving our dogs with Jennifer and Mark! They always send pictures and updates. And we never worry because we know they are well taken care of! I highly recommend them for your boarding needs.”

“Totally awesome and reliable sitter! My dog came home happy, well taken care of and he was clean 🙂 Renee also worked with my challenging schedule when I needed a few extra days of sitting shirt notice. Thank you so much!”

“Rosaria took such good care of my Lexi!!! She kept me updated and went over and beyond to make sure Lexi was safe and well adjusted!! She even fixed her fresh turkey and pumpkin!!! She played so hard she slept the whole way home. 100% recommend”

“Jesse did a great job taking care of our large mixed breed. She can be an anxious dog but she seems to have really settled down with Jesse. He sent us regular updates and pics to let us know how things were going. We will definitely be using Jesse again in the future.”

“This was the fourth time that Angie has kept Molly, and the longest. It is evident that Molly had a good time. She had other dogs to play with, ate the expected amount of food, and seemed to be in good shape. Thanks Angie.”

“Morgan is a treasure!, the perfect fit for my anxious little dog, who loved her almost immediately! It was so nice to know I had left her in such trustworthy hands. I would hire her again in a heartbeat! 5 ⭐️ sitter!”

“Jennifer was great!! I needed a last minute sitter and she was perfect. She did a great job keeping my baby boy and keeping me updated with pictures throughout his stay. Will definitely use her again when in the area!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
