I am looking to eventually quit there and continue doing something I have a deep love for which is animals. I only have classes a couple hours a day with an hour break around noon. I am looking to fill up my mornings and evenings with a care that I deeply enjoy and am passionate about! For house sitting, I stay overnight and follow the pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and medication if needed. I provide companionship, keep the home clean, and send regular updates with photos to keep the owner informed and reassured. For drop-in visits, I stop by three times a day for about 20 minutes each visit. During each drop in I handle feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and basic care, while making sure to send detailed updates and pictures after every visit.

About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a cowboy corgi. I have also pet sat friends dogs and mini pigs! I'm ready to treat your family like my family. I work full time second shift at the local sheriff department as a dispatcher. My dog is not crated during this time. I do come home on my hour lunch break and let her out and play with her. I have a tie out for potty breaks and a large house to run around. Also visits to the dog park or tractor supply for a bath and some treats.

My girl has only been on this medication since May and it’s been a transition to make sure she’s cared for on a fairly strict schedule. About: I was a devoted pet parent for 12 years, caring for my yorkies Maggie & Molly from the time they were one through their senior years. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, potty breaks, maintaining routines, and administering insulin injections when needed. While I’m new to providing pet care professionally, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. I’ll treat your pets with the same care, patience, and love I’d want for my own 🐾 I work Monday through Friday 9am to 4pm. I’m in the office every Tuesday & Wednesday and every other Monday. About: I have grown up my entire life around pets and animals of all varieties. Dogs, cats, Parakeets, and even hamsters. I have learned and grown to love and care for animals because I view them as family, not just pets. I have walked dogs and have house sat for many years and am considered experienced with most forms of care and service to pets such as dogs and cats I work a full time job as a social studies educator where I teach seventh grade through 12th grade world, history and government classes. Teaching is my absolute passion and I love working with kids of all ages To help guide them towards helping them become better versions of themselves every single day! About: Ive dog sat for my sisters who both have giant dogs more than I can count and I’ve kept my fathers friends service dog. I love animals and it just feels right I currently work part time so it’s easy to work something out ! All I ask is to ask and let me see what I can do to help! I currently don’t have a dog but I’m looking! My yard isn’t fenced but it it however quite big and if needed I will walk them out there with a leach! My house is big and they are allowed to come inside!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
