“Huk & Finley LOVE staying with Jamie & Brian. They're always making new puppy friends when they are there and are so well taken care of. I love all of the pictures and updates I receive and especially love the fact that I can take a vacation and not have to worry about whether or not my pups are being taken care of or receiving enough attention. They certainly get a lot of snuggles with Jamie and Brian! Thank you so much for another great stay!”

“Aimee was amazing with our baby Bacon! She sent updates and pictures daily and made sure he was happy and well cared for during his visit. We WILL be returning for all future boarding as long as she will have us ? absolutely incredible and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Thank you again Aimee!”

“Tetiana and her daughter took wonderful care of our dog Elio. They sent updates and photos regularly. He looked so relaxed in their home! Will definitely book them again.”

“My number 1 choice when it comes to leaving my doggo anywhere. Constant contact, pictures, funny videos. Flexibility. My dog has only stayed once but that's all I needed to decide that Alex and Bethany are the perfect people. Thank you guys!”

“Ever since I’ve found Ricardo I’m able to travel without any worries he updates me frequently with pictures and how beans is doing. Glad to have found him and will be using him from here on out 😬”

“We could not have asked for a better sitter for our dog while we were out of town! Thomas took him on many adventures and sent photos every day showing us how he was doing and what they were up to. Highly recommend!!”

“Cara and Dan were great! Their care for my mini poodle was awesome, communication with them was easy plus they sent a few pictures. And their home and property seemed very clean and well kept.”

“David was amazing! He was super accommodating about a last minute booking, and sent lots of sweet pics of my pup having fun and getting loved on. He came back tired from all the playing and fun he had.”

“I have found a solid option for bookings for my pup Blaze. Luke, his wife and their 2 pups took great care of my guy. It looks like he had a great time staying with them and being part of the family for the day. I will be booking with them very often.”

“Erin was incredible!! This was my first time in 14.5 years of having Brooklyn leaving her with someone who wasn’t a family member or friend and I was nervous! Erin made me feel so comfortable and eased all of my anxieties. She took great care of Brooklyn and provided great pictures with updates. Your pet will be in great hands with Erin!”

“Thank you so much Nicole for accommodating my almost 13 year old dog who is set in his ways. I am glad that he got along well and learned to socialize with the resident pets in your house.”

“Corrie took great care of Berkeley. When we came home it was like he had a vacation and was tired and happy. Corrie texted us every day and sent photos, even taking him to Estes Park. Berkeley is an active dog and Corrie is a runner so they got lots of exercise.”

“This was the first time Sunny was cared for outside his own surroundings and his first time meeting a dog. Maria was very thoughtful about Sunny’s firsts. Sunny is an investigator and enjoyed all the opportunities for adventure with Maria and her family. Maria sent photos and messages throughout the week, which we appreciated. When we need another boarding opportunity we will absolutely contact Maria.”

“This was the first time I have ever left my dog with another person, and safe to say I wasn’t disappointed. Megan was an amazing sitter for my 60lbs pit-bull, Polar. He enjoyed my walks and cuddles during his stay. Megan sent many pictures and updates, and followed all the guidelines that we gave. Honestly, we could not have asked for better. Polar will indeed be back!!!”

About: Hi! I’ve loved animals since I can remember, visit the zoo every chance I get, and enjoy every minute with my sister’s doodles. Mostly I have had large dogs: German Shepard, Akita, Bernese Mountain Dog, Swiss Mountain Dog, Husky. Living in the Adirondacks for the last 20+ years, I have cared for puppies, dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, and fish. No matter how spoiled, or particular, or perfect your furry friend is, I’m sure we’ll be new besties. I support, and encourage healthy behaviors and a loving environment. I work from home, and could potentially work from your home if your pets need continuous company. When I have my sister’s doodles, we walk in the morning before work, at lunch, and after work. I’ve been in the Adirondacks for 20+ years. There is no bad weather. My breaks give us time to snuggle, or a quick pee break. The older doodle needs shorter walks in the shade, so sometimes we need to adjust. I thoroughly enjoy the dog park and all the breeds it has to offer. With a little planning, I could certainly accommodate your pet’s needs. Some pets just need to stay home. If you have high speed, secure internet I can hang with your beloved pet all day Monday through Friday. On the weekends I’m happy to fit in an adventure, play around the yard, or snuggle by the window depending on what your pet is up for. If you are looking for a dog walker, I have a lot of extra large breed experience and there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad gear.
About: I come from a family who has always had multiple pets at a time, with anywhere from 3 to 10 foster dogs under our care at any given time! I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs from smaller poodles and Shih tzus to much larger retrievers, border collies, and German shepherds. I have experience with cats as well, but much more lengthy experience taking care of dogs of different sizes and temperaments :) I am a med student so my schedule varies in flexibility but I live in a very walkable area and typically spend a lot of time at home studying! I love taking long walks in between classes and studying and would love to bring a furry friend along with me :) As I do have to be in classes some days for a few hours (no more than 3-4 at a time), i am better boarding pets who can be left alone for a couple hours. As for my home, I have plenty of space for them to run around freely.

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
96% of sitters in Morton can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Morton home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Morton.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
