“Abigail is very talented and very knowledgeable person. My Shepherd Harper loves spending time with her and Abigail loves her time with Harper. I would highly recommend Abigail to anyone to have her help train and take excellent care of your pets”

About: I have taken care of my own pets for all of my life. People have noticed the care and time I put into their lives and have trusted me to train and take care of of others peoples pets as well. I love walking, playing, feeding and anything you can think of with your pets. I am available pretty much every day all day except for Wednesday and Sunday morning. Feel free to contact me and work out a good time. Anything needed I can provide at clients home. Only thing I am unable to do is keep pets at my own home. Just give me details and I’ll be ready.

About: I have several years of experience volunteering at a no-kill animal shelter where I was responsible for feeding, walking, bathing, play time, and administering medications. I have taken puppy training classes, and also have experience with senior dogs who require special attention and care. A “Meet and Greet” with me, you, and your dog(s) is required prior to our first booking to make sure it’s a good fit. I am a stay at home homeschool mom of two responsible teenagers who also love dogs. We are home minus church and running basic errands. I have a female German Shepherd mix named Meg. She loves other dogs, shares her toys, and she gets 1-2 walks everyday; rain or shine.

About: I have taken care of many dogs even ones with medical issues and I also am very active so walking them would be no problem! I work full time but I am able to make it work , I am also doing online college so that makes it easier also! Whether or not your dogs are trained off leash, I would prefer walking them, or taking them out on their leash just in case they don’t listen and runoff!

“All my pups absolutely love Marissa! She takes such great care of them on their walks. Marissa is also always mindful and respectful to pet parents. We are all thankful for her and our dogs have all began regular walks with her!”

About: Hello! I'm Karissa, and I've been an animal lover ever since I was a little girl. Growing up, my parents ran a pet shop, so I had the pleasure of being surrounded by all sorts of critters. Because of this upbringing, I've had the joy of caring for a wide range of animals, getting to know their unique needs and keeping them healthy and happy. In my own little family, we currently have three sweet cats and a playful puppy who's just six months old. We live in the lovely countryside near Festus, with a whole acre of land securely fenced for our furry pals to explore. We even have a pool, and you can trust us when we say we take pool safety seriously! We love a good game of fetch or tug of war and have been really getting into positive reinforcement training. Our puppy is even learning how to use buttons to "speak". :) I've got a soft spot for every cat and dog out there, and I'd be thrilled to look after your precious babies whenever you need a hand. I can either host them at my place or swing by your home to check in on them. Your pets' happiness and well-being are my top priorities! I can absolutely understand the importance of trust when it comes to finding the right pet sitter. So, let me assure you, I'm a dedicated and reliable professional. I'll treat your furry friends like they're part of my own family, following their routines and taking care of any special medications or dietary needs they may have. I can't wait to hear from you and meet your adorable pets! Feel free to reach out anytime. As a stay-at-home mom with older children, I have the flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your needs seamlessly! Please reach out with any questions about my availability. As mentioned earlier, our household comprises three friendly cats and a 6-month-old puppy. They are all well-accustomed to meeting new furry pals and get along famously with both dogs and cats. If necessary, we can easily arrange separate living spaces to ensure your fur-baby feels comfortable and at ease.

About: I’ve grown up around big and small dogs all my life. I have also been dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors and love to take my German shepherd on runs. I live at home right now and am taking one class online and work-part time so I will have lots of time to play with your pets and snuggle them. I make sure the animal will stay within boundaries if they have to stay in a fence and will make sure that they get all meds needed or food on time.

“Jessica was able to accommodate a last minute dog walk that is much farther away than typical (my pup was at my parents’ house. A positive experience all around, as is always the case!”

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life. I started volunteering with a pet rescue around 2016 and have fostered many cats and dogs. I have experience taking care of dogs with allergies and skin conditions including giving topical and oral medications. I understand the importance of strict and/or special diets and also the degree to which some dogs rely on a schedule. I currently only do volunteer pet rescue work and have plenty of free time to help folks who need drop in visits. My only time constraint currently is that I can only do drop-ins during school hours, roughly 9am-2pm. In my experience with many different cats and dogs over the years fostering, I love getting to know all the different personalities and believe that the utmost care should be taken in regards to making sure your pets are well taken care of. Whether that is in regard to food, medication or even just their own personal quirks.

About: I have been fostering dogs for years and use to all different breeds. I have always grown up with dogs and helped take care of them. I absolutely love the joy they bring into the world. I was originally going to school to be a vet but it ended up not working out because of all the blood. I have a huge heart and have a lot of love to give. I love all dogs of any age, size, or breed. I will take your dogs on walks or runs whatever you are comfortable with. I have given dogs medicines and have regulated strict diets. Also I have taught dogs to be potty trained. My apartment doesn't allow any animals so I wouldn't be able to house animals at my apartment but I am gladly to stay if needed or come and go as often as you are comfortable with. My schedule is very flexible so I can work as needed or as my schedule allows. Majority of the time I am free by 12 or earlier. I have been working as a foster parent and work with many different challenges and personality types. I have had to help with heart worm treatment, surgery care, elder dogs, anx have a cat of my own.

About: Hi my name is Maddi! I am the proud owner of Bombproof Canine Training LLC, I absolutely love what I do and I just wanted to leave my Rover account active to help connect with previous / potential clients. I have a huge heart for high drive & misunderstood breeds. I rescued my American pitbull terrier from a kill shelter in Brooklyn the day she was set to be euthanized back in 2012. Rescuing and rehabilitating her really opened my eyes to what my purpose in life is and that is dog training. I am a Fear Free certified trainer as well as a CPDT-KA. I specialize in service animals, reactivity, fear, separation anxiety etc.. I'm also a huge advocate for rescue animals as well as responsible breeding, I have a high drive 4.5 year old black lab named Tater, a 3 year old malinios named Banshee, and a 2 year old Border Collie named Salem. I would love to help care for your pups while you’re busy at work, away on a trip or even if you’d like to set up some private training sessions. My own dogs are VERY high energy so I completely understand what it’s like when you don’t have the time to properly handle that. I really love being the “energy management coordinator” 😜 so if you just need someone to stop by and play ball for a bit I would love to help! At this time I prefer taking drop in visits, select boarding cases and training consults but will consider other options on a case by case basis. Don't hesitate to ask! I work in the canine industry full time, my focus is on training but I really enjoy drop in visits to help manage exercise and enrichment Every dog in my care will be treated as if they were my own, I encourage you to follow me on instagram to get a better understanding of how much I truly care about my animals.

Karissa B.Star Sitter
“In my house, pets are people. They have feelings and needs. I pay attention, and look out for them as they look out for me. Karissa not only gets this concept, it is entirely the way she interacts with other people’s pets. When I go away, and cannot bring pets along, I don’t have to worry about paying a premium just to get an extra bit of time in the outdoors, additional cuddles or treats, or for remote cameras to check on them. I know that Karissa will treat them like I would, and that makes it one less worry to bring along on vacation.”

Corissa C.
“Corissa has been caring for my two dogs and cat for a couple of years, and I couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter. She is extremely reliable, trustworthy, and clearly love animals. I always come home to happy pets and a well-kept home. It’s such a relief knowing they’re in good hands while I’m away, rather it’s a short weekend getaway or a longer trip. I highly recommend Corissa to anyone looking for dependable pet care.”

Jessica S.

“Jessica was able to accommodate a last minute dog walk that is much farther away than typical (my pup was at my parents’ house. A positive experience all around, as is always the case!”

Lindsey D.
“Lindsey has and will always have my respect and recommendation. Searching for a dog sitter for my 106 pound American bulldog Mallory, I was very nervous since I am new to the St. Louis area and didn’t know a lot of people. I found Lindsey out of the blue and never look back. There aren’t enough words to describe how great of a sitter Lindsey really is. But if I had to sum it up in just a few words I would say that Lindsey is attentive, intuitive, reliable, calm, kind, laid-back, no nonsense and confident. The best part about having Lindsey as a sitter, for me, is that she always checks in with me, sending updates about Mal. She does all of Mal’s favorite things, running around in the backyard, playing with sticks, and she’s even been able to bring her dog over for puppy play dates. She sends me pictures and videos of her time with Mal. She talks about how much she enjoys interacting with Mal. I’ve never once been scared, I’ve never once been worried to leave Mal. I know my dog is in safe hands; because a dog isn’t just a dog, it’s a family member and Lindsey has always treated Mal like a family member. I’m fortunate to have a pet that doesn’t require serious care; Mal only has finicky eating habits. But if Mal did require serious attention to detail in her care plan, I have no doubt that Lindsey would be able to handle it, and she would be able to handle it with flying colors. Lindsey is also very fair with pricing, something that’s very important to me. People want to pay fairly for the care they’re receiving. They don’t want to feel like the love they have for their pet, and/or the willingness to pay for top-of-the-line care is being taken advantage of. I can’t rave enough about how awesome Lindsey has been to Mal and I, and will continue to have her as a sitter for as long as she’ll let me! Thank you Lindsey, so grateful for you.”

Anna K.
“Anna has been incredible with our Bernese Mountain dog! When Anna groomed her, she came home so fluffy and clean and beautiful with little pink bows on her ears :) Kya is a typically very shy dog, and we were intially nervous on whether she would be well-behaved for the groom, but she warmed up to Anna immediately and picked up on her kindness and comfort. about We have had interactions outside of the grooming salon as well. At the dog park, Anna interacts with her dogs and plays with the dogs around her, and Kya loved her there too. I really recommend her because she shows a lot of love, patience, and kindness to the animals she is in charge of (not only just dogs). She is a wonderful person and she shows that everyday in her interactions with her customers and their pets :)”

Christen H.Star Sitter
“Christen and her family are the warmest, most responsible and caring crew! They have cared for our beloved Bosco and taken phenomenal care of him, even with his higher needs as an older dog. I highly recommend using Christen as a caregiver for your precious fur babies!”

Alisha G.
“Alisha is a long time friend of mine and a fellow cat lover. When we were roommates many years ago she had three lovely cats that we both adored! She takes great care of her pets, is a foster pet mom, and is just an all around kind, caring, and trustworthy person. I would trust her to take care of my fur babies anytime!”

“Holly is one of the only people I trust to care/watch my fur babies. My dogs are my everything and I only trust her or my brother to watch them. She has so much patience and kindness for animals. You can tell it is what she loves and enjoys doing. Seeing her around any animal makes it obvious why she is working hard to make a career in the animal industry. My dogs are also very anxious around strangers and she somehow won over their hearts. She showed so much patience for my big baby who can be a bit much with new people. She also understands body language when a dog is uncertain and helped train my toy poodle to spin and sit! She makes any animal her best friend.”

Kenzie W.

“Kenzi is so awesome with our Gracie girl. Gracie get so excited when kenzi walks her.”
