Her yard is perfect, she is affectionate and I know in my heart Molly will be exceptionally well cared for. We dropped Molly off this week for a trial day before leaving her a whole week. Karissa kept us updated with pictures and notes throughout the stay. Finding Karissa has eased our anxiety about leaving Molly. About: I have always loved dogs. My husband and I adopted a beagle 5 years ago and we have just loved every minute of it. We go on daily walks, have plenty of toys and dog puzzles. I currently work from home and will have plenty of time to monitor and play with your dogs. My Beagle Tommy is also dog friendly. We go outside frequently and supervise outside playtime. I have a friendly beagle who loves to play hard and nap hard too. We allow dogs on the furniture and work from home. We do not crate dogs even when leaving the home.

About: So I just love dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and will never not have one. I work from home and am very physically active so my lifestyle works well with dogs as I am around to simply hang out with the dogs or go on long walks if needed! Luckily I work from home as an attorney and am able to provide many walks and attention throughout the day. I also live in an area with a lake and multiple dog parks. I am extremely attentive with any dogs that I take care of. I will provide sitting with care and attention and make sure your dog is safe and taken care of.

About: I had my own personal dogs for over 20 years in total but do not currently have any pets. As my schedule allows, I help out with short-term fostering for a rescue that I adopted two of my dogs from. All 3 of my dogs ended up with health issues in their old age so I have plenty of experience giving medications, feeding special diets, assisting with mobility issues, etc. Because my boy was dog reactive, I became a master at 'crate/gate/separate' when fostering while he was alive. However, I intend to only sit animals that are from the same home at one time so the animals do not face any restrictions needing to avoid animals they do not live with. I work from home (day job) so I will be around most of the time during the care dates with the exception of any planned events outside of the home (which likely would not be more than a few hours at a time). I have a fenced yard (4 feet) for quick potty breaks (I do not leave dogs unattended in my yard). For walks, I can use a double leash/collar if needed for extra security. I do have a shared fence line with a neighbor dog that is reactive so, when needed, I run a line of chicken wire to keep dogs in my yard from being able to reach that fence. The neighbor’s dog is my primary reason for marking ‘no’ to un-spayed/neutered. I don’t leave any dogs I watch unattended in my back yard but he’s a Cane Corso that’s not neutered and my fence is only 4ft tall so I figured better safe than sorry.

They sent pics and videos to make me feel comfortable about me being apart. At pickup time they provided advice based off of what they experienced during the stay to help her next stay be just that much better for my pup. Needless to say her new bestie Evie had a great time and she is down for the count. ☺️ Thank you!”

About: I’ve cared for a variety of dogs and cats — for friends, family, and many clients through Rover — over the past decade. I take pride in providing attentive, detail-oriented, and scientifically informed care to ensure your pets are happy and healthy. I am a physician research fellow completing a research fellowship at WashU, where I primarily work from home with a flexible schedule. This allows me to provide frequent attention, walks, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. I only need to be away one afternoon each week for clinic, so your pet will receive plenty of care and companionship. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of individual attention. In my home, pets have access to a dedicated indoor playroom that opens directly onto a spacious backyard, providing a safe and comfortable space to relax and play. There is also a large fenced play area approximately 300 yards from my backyard where dogs can enjoy additional exercise and outdoor time. I maintain a clean, safe environment and provide regular updates with photos so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away.
