“Rachel is amazing! She is always on time, is reliable and goes the extra mile with our pup. Our dog is always happy and tired out after her walks with Rachel! Highly recommend”

About: I’m a dogs best friend, I like walking and being outside as much as they do! I grew up in a dog household and then began caring for dogs in clients homes for over 15 years now. I’ve taken care of 5 dogs, 5 cats and 15 rabbits at one time in one household before! I’ve never trained my own pets but I’ve assisted with training by enforcing the clients training commands and wishes. Im in good shape and can hike or go for extra long walks if you have an active animal. I’ll love and treat your dog as if it were my own. I think dogs are the best listeners and I love to mirror their unconditional love. I have several references to put you in contact with per request. I have a flexible schedule right now and would love to fill my open hours with pet visits and dog walking. I’m often available for last minute bookings. I have a fully fenced in backyard available for your dog to run. I do not have my own crates so a crate would need to be provided if necessary.

“Johnny is the best! He treats our dogs like his own and is communicative, trustworthy, and kind. He is a pleasure to work with. We are so glad we found him to do drop ins for us, and cannot recommend him enough!”

About: I am a young energetic person, who enjoys going on walks with furry companions! I am a college student so I do have a flexible schedule during the week. Monday and Wednesdays I have time in the morning, and Tuesday and Thursday anytime but from 2:30-6pm. I have my own business, so I mostly work on weekends. Therefore I do prefer weekdays. I can take care of animals I've had lot of my own from fish to chickens, cats to dogs even babysat a cow! I have experience with giving medication to dogs, picking up after them, and letting all their energy out with some fresh air. I would love to think other people would trust me with their animals, and would consider me to be their dog walker. Thank you, Celina. I am self employed with a food truck and currently in my slow season and would love a part time job to keep busy. Therefore I have a very open and flexible schedule, when my busy season picks back up I will adjust my schedule. Even then I will still have time for clients and will be available. As someone who has dogs and has always had animals growing up I’m aware of how important exercise, time, and affection is to them and us! My Australian shepherd Pepper needs lots of time to let her energy out and keep her mind stimulated so I’m well trained in those departments. As well as administering medications if needed.

“Tina took such good care of my dog during her daily walks while I was away! She took the cutest pictures and mitigated my dog’s reactivity on walks perfectly. We really appreciate how stress free it was having her help and will be in touch again soon!”

About: I have been house sitting and pet sitting for a while now. And I really do enjoy my work. This is my first time using Rover. Dogs and cats have always been a big part of my life. I help my partner take care of his boarding and daycare clients. I'm a big fan of dogs and cats. They love me too. I'm a former social worker. But these days I cherish the time I get to spend with my pet clients. I have lots of time to offer in this regard. Always up for a snuggle. I enjoy walking and playing with your pups. I'll treat them as if they were my own!🐶 I have a fully fenced yard. Lots of room to roam. I have lots of time to offer your pets. I'm looking forward to meeting you all.

About: I love dogs, and more importantly when it comes to all animals, I have a huge heart. Dogs especially are my favorite. You couldn't ask for a more fun-loving, loyal, and caring companion to spend your time with. I have two amazing dogs of my own, walking, feeding, loving, and playing with them is priority. I will do the same with your dogs. I have a fenced yard, huge neighborhood to take dogs for a walk. I am willing to come to your neck of the woods if need be!

“I own an Australian Shepherd who can be very unpredictable towards strangers and does not do well with other dogs so it’s always stressful to have to find a new sitter who can understand and handle my dog’s unique needs. My usually sitter was not available, so I reached out to someone new on Rover and Desiree responded back quickly. She agreed to do a couple of drop-in visits before I left for my trip so that I could feel more comfortable leaving him alone with her. Desiree did a wonderful job assessing my dog’s behaviors and didn’t shy away from the challenge. She was very timely with her scheduled visits and did a great job keeping both my dog and others safe during his walks. I also really appreciated the photos that she took at each visit. It made me breathe easier knowing my dog was in capable hands. I definitely feel confident to use Desiree’s services again for future trips!”

About: I worked at a doggy day care for years and miss hanging out and caring for all the pups! I’ve cared for friends, family and neighbors pets for years, of all sizes and breeds. I’m comfortable administering medication if need be and will always take extra special care of your loved ones. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! 💜 I’m currently a single stay at home mom with my 2 boys. My schedule is very flexible and I more often than not can accept same day bookings/visits! My cat is on a strict feeding schedule with prescription food so I understand how important it is to be punctual. I walk my sisters dog every other day (the evenings she’s working late and can’t do it herself) and love providing enrichment games for both pets to make sure they’re living their best and happiest life!

About: 27 with about 17 years of animal husbandry and pet care experience. I am a former dog trainer with Tip Top K9 so I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs — from large, stubborn working breeds to nervous pups who need extra patience. I also have personal experience with exotic animals, so if you have a scaley friend or a pocket pet I can care for them as well. Rover is my full time curently so I have availability every single day, including weekends and holidays and can be available at any time of the day. I've done overnight sitting as well as check ins, so I'm comfortable with either, or a combination depending on you and your pets needs. I can also care for exotic pets and plants as well.

“David was so thorough and engaged with making sure my dog Heidi had all of her needs met and more! I fully trust him for Heidi’s well-being and safety, I know she’s bummed when it’s me coming through the front door and not him! ? thanks for everything you do for her David!”

About: I'm a transplant from the D.C. Area where I grew up with dogs. When I left home and started my career, having a puppy wasn't an option with my long work days. Now that I'm staying at home, I miss the love, entertainment, and energy that dogs give. I'd love to meet you, and your four legged babies! Does your pup have a special diet or require meds? That's no problem! I've done oral medications, and even had a family cat with diabetes that required twice daily injections. Regardless if it’s a walk, or caring for your four legged friend in your home, I will give them the love and care they deserve. Contact me for a free, no obligation meet and greet! I work from home, so it is my pleasure to break away as needed. This provides the freedom to make sure they don’t deviate from their normal daily schedule/routine. When providing in-home pet care, I will always focus on maintaining the pet's routine and well-being by ensuring they have food, water, and opportunities for exercise and play.

About: Hi I currently own a 3 year old, 80lb lab mix, he’s very high energy and a 9 year old cat i’ve had for 7 years. I have done plenty of dog walking, pet sitting, and grooming of other pets:) I am currently going to school part time so I will have plenty of time to walk, play, and care for your pets whenever you need! I cannot provide services inside my home due to my large dog and cat that is scared of dogs he doesn’t know, so home boarding isn’t something I am able to do.

About: I treat every dog like how I treat my dog and I treat my dog like they are my babies and they are the most important thing in my life. I’ll do the same for your baby’s I am working part time so I have plenty of time to play and spend time with them only on the weekends and have fun with them and also them out too. I have a front yard. Your dog could always go outside and play and relax. And I also have a little old area so the dog is able to go lay down and if it’s needed its own space, it will have its own space.

“Katherine (aka KC) was my puppy sitter for quite a number of years and I can highly recommend her. Had she not moved away, I would still gladly hire her. She is conscientious, honest, responsible, and reliable. My dogs, cats, and bunnies absolutely love her and I know that my furries are in good and capable hands.”

Troy B.

“Celina is a responsible person over all but in regards to animals she is quite exceptional. Having cared for her own animals, celina had been responsible with the care for other people's pets and handled them like her own. I trust her not just to walk my dogs but to watch them if I need someone. She knows the importance of a pets role in a family and she will treat your pet like one of her own, with the utmost care.”

Michelle L.
“Michelle is the best when it comes to taking care of my pets (I have a dog and a cat). Where other dog sitters have been frustrated in handling my dog (super hyper beagle), she is extra patient with him. He gets super excited when she shows up, and he enjoys the time they spend together. As for my cat, if there ever was a title "cat whisper" it would go to her. My cat is a lazy groomer, and long haired. Which makes for a bad combo. When I try to brush her she gets angry and starts to hiss and cut. I don't know how Michelle does it but she can comb all the nats out and my cat has no problems with it. Since Michelle showed up I can definitely say she has done a great job (and made my life easier)”

Shawnna H.
“Shawnna is an animal lover. I trust her with the care of my two awesome dogs and she is excellent. She walks them and loves whenever asked. I recommend her absolutely.”

“Mia used to walk my dogs regularly and was very dependable. She also helped my with odds and ends like isopods, snakes and birds. She's very knowledgeable and was great help with my projects. Would recommend Mia for any animal services, it's clear she loves animals.”

David R.Star Sitter

Andrea F.
“Andrea has had three dogs in her life plus a number of cats. She has definitely loved her animals so much so that when they have died she gets very emotional. She has been very loving to all her pets but also knows how to be the pack leader and make sure they obey her commands so they stay safe. She would make a very good sitter for any dog, large or small. Our three were large breeds, and even as a very young child, Andrea did well with them.”
