“Carson was very patient with me as I sorted out my schedule. She came highly recommended from the references she provided. She cared for my elderly dog, Penny, including administering a complicated regimen of medication. I would hire her again!”

“Kamryn was so great. She communicated thoroughly, sent pics and videos, and kept my home straight. My puppy was only 3 months old and she loved on her like she was her own. This was my first rover experience, and I plan to book Kamryn for future needs if available. Thanks Kamryn!”

“Jaixa was an amazing caretaker for my dog Scarlet! They were so sweet and pleasant to work with, and kept me updated with cute pics of Scarlet on walks. I could tell she was happy and well cared for. Highly recommend Jaixa—your pup will be in great hands! 🐾💖”

About: I owned two dogs up until the age of 16 and loved them dearly. I often took my dogs out for long walks and played with them to make sure they were always active & engaged. Since then, I’ve dog/cat sat for numerous friends and neighbors throughout and post college. I always treat others’ animals with the same love and care as I did with my own! I currently work from home, so I have the flexibility to walk or play with your dog before 9am or in the afternoon and evenings if needed! Unfortunately I am unable to host at this time due to my resistance not allowing dogs, but I am available to dog sit in your home! I will ensure the comfort and safety of your dog at all times in a clean environment and can provide any specific additional/necessary support needed!

“Tosha was great. She came and met Ellie before her stay. And was communicative while I was away sharing videos, pictures, and written updates. Tosha was also great navigating the fact that Ellie is in heat and also had a front paw issue. I returned after my time away to a happy pup.”

“We had the pleasure of having Clifmon care for our 2.5-year-old XL Weimaraner, Jake, for 15 days while we were away and we couldn’t be happier. From start to finish, he was reliable, attentive and professional. Clifmon followed Jake’s schedule to the letter-feedings, walks, playtime and overnight company, making sure our boy’s routine stayed consistent. He stayed in close contact with us the entire time, sending updates and notifying us promptly of anything we needed to know, whether it was about Jake or our apartment. Jake can be quite a handful (and is the apple of our eye!), but Clifmon handled him with patience, skill, and genuine care. Knowing Jake was in such capable hands gave us real peace of mind. We truly pray he has a great review of Jake too, because we’d LOVE for Clifmon to be our Go-To sitter whenever we travel. This was the best gift to my daughter, knowing her best friend was so well cared for. 5 Star recommendation Thank you, Clifmon!”

“Emily did an absolutely amazing job with our 10 month puppy! We were sent so many cute and thoughtful updates with photos and videos! I would HIGHLY recommend!!!!! Emily was definitely a star dog sitter!!!!!”

About: My current pup was an untrained adult dog when I first adopted her 12 years ago, and I trained her myself using positive reinforcement - she’s very calm and patient. I have trained several puppies and untrained adult dogs. I have experience with long-term senior care for my parents’ and my own dog. I have sat for and boarded special needs pets (dogs and cats). I provide a nurturing environment for pets and look after them like they are my own! I work from home and take care of my own dog. I have a flexible schedule and can be available on short notice. Can travel if need be. My dog is very laid-back, well-trained, and patient, and walk her 3-4 times a day. She has a nice space in the house with plenty of access to water and a very comfortable bed. She's been trained to avoid certain areas of the house so she doesn't get into any trouble, such as the kitchen and bathroom. I am very diligent about following any medical care instructions. I can walk dogs with varying exercise needs, and am physically strong enough to handle strong pups. And it goes without saying that I'm very responsive to phone calls, texts, and emails if any updates are desired.

About: I love animals - I have taken care of kittens, old dogs, and everything in between. Having grown up with dogs and cats all my life in Western Massachusetts, I am used to a pet friendly environment and used to treating animals like they’re apart of your family. I work from home in finance with a lot of time to spare! I can provide them a lot of attention and walk them as many times as needed. I try to make each day special for them when they’re in my care. I love to introduce myself and try to get pets to warm up to me while playing. Treats sometimes help depending on the owner’s preference. If they’re in a new environment, I would give them a quick tour and provide them with a place to lie down. After developing trust, a quick walk and some food should solidify that further.

“It was the first time for my dog to be sitted with someone he didn”t know. That brought me anxiety but Brionna in the meet and greet gave me enough confidence to hire her. Although Pelusa played hard to get the first day, they bonded very well as days passed by. I will definitely trust Brionna again to sit for Pelusa.”

“Jorge took excellent care of my dog Emma while staying in my apartment for 15 days. He provided updates and also followed the care instructions I provided. He was flexible, reapinsive, accommodating and, most importantly, bonded with Emma.”

About: I am patient, compassionate and very detail-oriented when taking care of furry friends. I have experience administering medication and providing outlets and games for dogs to get their energy out. I have a remote administrative work that I can do around my rover bookings. I enjoy being with animals and look forward to this part of my work life because I get to bond with pets and be playful. I have a dedicated room to board pets, I have 2 cats myself and understand that it might be stressful for pets to be around other pets (especially cats). So I have the visitor pet in a dedicated space with water, food and toys. I take great responsibility and pride in caring for people's fur babies so I like to spend time with them and take them on potty breaks in the fenced-in backyard or on walks.
