“Ebony, is the best sitter in North County. She is very personalable and is loves taking care of dogs. She is my go to sitter when I need someone to watch my baby boy. She sends pictures twice a day and aways responds when you messenge her. My puppy is aways safe and happy with her. Thanks for being such a great sitter. 😊”

“It was a big relief to find hosts willing to take my Sadie in when we were going on vacation over the Thanksgiving holiday. I was a little concerned because I'd never left my pup with anyone prior to this experience. I was provided picture updates and when I called to check on Sadie, they let me know that she was doing ok. I felt this was a very positive experience and Sadie seemed really happy to have other pups around that she could socialize with. My Sadie seemed to especially connect with the hosts female black lab named Kimber who was about the same age as she, 3 yrs old. I would certainly recommend boarding your pet with this family.”
“Kelly and her family took wonderful care of my dog. The daily updates were wonderful and made him feel at home. I would recommend Kelly to anyone needing a dog sitter. I can not thank her enough.”

“Christina did an absolutely amazing job! She took such great care of our pup while we were gone for a few days. She sent pictures and gave updates every day. If you need someone trustworthy and caring to take care of your furry family member, then look no further, Christina is it! Highly recommend and we will use her services in the future!”

“Sarah is a caring sitter who made our middle aged dogs feel at home. They really enjoyed the fenced yard and being outside. We appreciated the frequent updates and photos. We will definitely book with Sarah again!”

“Our pup did great at Mandi’s! I didn’t have to worry at all because she sent pictures of his day and an update of what he did. She was so sweet to send him home with a personalized bandana and a jar of homemade treats! Definitely recommend!”

“Erin was so great with our dog, Apollo. This was our first time using Rover, so we were a little nervous, but we were reassured with all of the pictures that Erin sent us during our stay and how happy Apollo was when we picked him up. We would ask Erin to watch Apollo again in a heartbeat!”

“My dog loves hanging out with them. My dog seems a lot more happier with them. Also safety fully cared for and gets the play all day. Every dog’s dream wanna give a special thank you for always looking after my dog, even at the last minute.”

“Excellent pet sitter! She boarded our puppy for two nights and took great care of her. Our puppy came home happy, healthy, and well-loved. Great communication and a caring environment. Highly recommend!”

“Our pit was so happy and calm after a week with Nicole; it felt less like boarding and more like leaving family with family. We are very glad to have found such a safe and comfy home away from home.”
About: Hi, thank you so much for stopping by to read through my profile. I have loved and taken care of friend’s and family’s dogs for years. Big, small, medium, even tempered, wild, mellow- I absolutely love them all. I have a 12 year old lab, who has slowed down a lot. She is my everything. I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. I’d absolutely appreciate it if you gave me the opportunity to spoil your dog, not just walk or watch. I understand these are your babies. My house is set up well with a fenced in back yard and lots of attention and love offered. Let me know what questions or concerns you might have! I work Monday-Friday, I am usually free in the evenings and off on Thursdays typically. I’m free on most holidays(so keep that in mind).** I am free on most weekends. ** My job is flexible, 12 mins away, making it easy to drop by my house throughout the day. My house is open and I have a great fenced in area. Your dog will be spoiled rotten over here. Lots of pets and attention. I also know how important a walk is to a dog, it’s the highlight of their day! We’d make the most of it.

Many sitters in IL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
