“Erin was so great with our dog, Apollo. This was our first time using Rover, so we were a little nervous, but we were reassured with all of the pictures that Erin sent us during our stay and how happy Apollo was when we picked him up. We would ask Erin to watch Apollo again in a heartbeat!”

“Extremely pleased with the care and attention that Katie provided Kodak during this stay. She always provides periodic updates to ensure I’m aware of how my boy is doing throughout the day. Also, she’s been flexible with last minute schedules changes that I’ve had. Will definitely continue to use her services in the future!!”

About: Hi, thank you so much for stopping by to read through my profile. I have loved and taken care of friend’s and family’s dogs for years. Big, small, medium, even tempered, wild, mellow- I absolutely love them all. I have a 12 year old lab, who has slowed down a lot. She is my everything. I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. I’d absolutely appreciate it if you gave me the opportunity to spoil your dog, not just walk or watch. I understand these are your babies. My house is set up well with a fenced in back yard and lots of attention and love offered. Let me know what questions or concerns you might have! I work Monday-Friday, I am usually free in the evenings and off on Thursdays typically. I’m free on most holidays(so keep that in mind).** I am free on most weekends. ** My job is flexible, 12 mins away, making it easy to drop by my house throughout the day. My house is open and I have a great fenced in area. Your dog will be spoiled rotten over here. Lots of pets and attention. I also know how important a walk is to a dog, it’s the highlight of their day! We’d make the most of it.
“Timothy is an excellent Rover sitter! He boarded our dog at his house for 9 nights. I like that he had us do a meet and greet first to ensure our dog would be a good fit. This was our first time using a sitter and I was nervous at first, but Timothy had great communication and I really appreciated the regular updates and great pictures. Our dog did well socializing and playing with the other dogs there. We will definitely be booking with Timothy again!”

“Adela was awesome! She took great care of my dog Ellie for a few days. She was extremely welcoming and answered any questions I had prior to Ellie’s stay. Her communication skills were on point as well. She put my mind at ease each day by sending updates and lots of pictures :) I think it’s safe to say that my dog really enjoyed her stay. We will def book again with her in the future.”

“Cyndy and her family were wonderful hosts for our dog, Mando! They made time to do a meet and greet and asked lots of great questions. She was so great at sending updates and I could tell they were taking very good care of Mando. Will definitely use them again!”

“Barbora was an amazing dog sitter!!! Very attentive to details and great communication throughout the stay. My dog felt very comfortable and seemed well loved!!! Will definitely use them again in the future!!!!!”

“Absolutely wonderful! Our cat Moose had her first big trip outside our home since we’ve adopted her. She was very nervous yet curious about the new change for the day, but she did great with the massive help of Jennifer. Jennifer was very accommodating and helpful - she sent updates throughout the day with photos and messages of Moose’s day! I would greatly recommend Jennifer, especially for first timers who are unsure about their cat staying somewhere other than their own home.”

“My puppy had so much with Laura. She sent pictures and updates every day. Laura responds very quickly to inquiries both before and during boarding. I have already booked another stay a few weeks from now. Very pleased with my first time using a dog sitter.”

“I was happy with Stacie watching my dogs, Stacie is nice, and pleasant, my dogs like her as well. Stacie sent me a picture of my dogs at her place. My dogs looked happy.. Thank you Stacie.”

“Ebony has kept my Carmen TWICE now, and I am late with my review. I love, Love, LOVE Ebony! Anyone that will put up with the LOUD barking of MY dog gets TEN stars I my book. I appreciate that Ebony is so great about sending photo updates, which eases my mind. She honors my requests and gives my Beagle all the love, care and attention I can't when I have to be out of town. I also think she's super in caring for clients because she is a pet owner herself. She will be my dog's sitter forever!”

“Christina watched our very anxious dog at the last minute over the holidays. Christina went above and beyond for us and our dog. He was happy and playful at her house and felt right at home immediately. She spoiled him with lots of toys and healthy home cooked meals. We will be booking again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bethalto
Sarah was an absolute STAR!! Our girl, Merlot, had a pretty rough and urgent injury a few days before we had plans to leave on a long trip. With Sarah’s background and experience we felt so confident Merlot would be in the best hands and she certainly was. She applied multiple medications and was able to accommodated a large dog cone in her home. Merlot came home with her wound nearly healed and was able to get in some friendly and safe socialization with Sarah’s pups!! We will continue to book with Sarah every time Merlot needs a sitter on our extended trips!!

Had to get my babies a sitter overnight and Mandi & her son was so kind ; i felt like i was dropping my babies off with one of my besties . Very inviting & positive energy. Sent me updates and photos while i was away. Your Service was very much appreciated ! Thank you Mandi !

We love leaving our two Labs with Mandi! She treats them like part of her family. They always come home happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Mandi to care for your family friends. We will definitely be using her again to care for our furry family friends in the future.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
