“Encore une fois, Bookiebest revenu fatigué et heureux d'avoir joué avec Russell et les chiens sous sa garde. Il est revenu très propre et il n'a jamais été malade, contrairement à parfois quand il revient de chez d'autres gardiens. On reviendra souvent chez Russell. 😁”

About: Seulement bien avec eux! Jeux et promenade. Présence constante. Repas selon vos indications.

About: I’ve spent many years volunteering at shelters. Dog walking at a very young age started walking dogs in my neighborhood as a kid. It’s only progressed from there. I have training skills in potty training, commands, etc. I have some minimal behavioral training as well. I wake up at 6:00 am everyday. The dogs will get fed shortly after being walked. From there they will be walked every 4 hours. Plus they will get play time for example hike, running, fetch, swimming, etc. I do have 4 dogs in my home. They are all very friendly and well trained. They have been through extensive dog training. I also have enrichment toys to help keep your pups occupied. I have the ability to separate the dogs if needed. I do also have the knowledge of medication administration. I do make sure to monitor the entire time. Will be sure to send photo and video updates.

“Ivonne did a great job taking care of our little Anya. She kept me up to date on the walks she took with our puppy and sent us some pictures. After the first day, Anya would get very excited when we approached Ivonne's house and would bolt straight out of the car towards her home as soon as we arrived. Anya always looked very happy when I picked her up and would be dead tired for the rest of the evening a sign that she played alot during the day. I would recommend Ivonne to anyone looking for a great sitter and would consider calling on her again in a heartbeat.”

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. Since I was little, pets have always been part of my family. My first adopted dog, Indy, has been with me for over 10 years and taught me the true meaning of loyalty, care, and love. I have an endless love for animals and always treat them as if they were my own. ❤️ I’m available every day and can easily adapt to your pet’s routine. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins or evening playtime, I have a flexible schedule and can fully commit to their care. Pets in my care will be treated with love, patience, and full attention. I have the possibility to welcome them into my home, which is a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment. Whether your pet stays with me or I go to your place, I always prioritize their comfort and emotional well-being. I follow instructions carefully and adapt to each pet’s personality and needs to make them feel secure and loved. 🚗 I also offer pick-up and drop-off for pets! Rates vary depending on distance: • $5-10 within Beauharnois or nearby areas (Châteauguay, Valleyfield). •$12–20 for longer distances (e.g., Montréal or up to 40–50 km or more). About: Hello Everyone: My name is Meagan and I have owned animals for a majority of my life. I have owned several different breeds of dogs and have had cats all of my life. I have personally trained all of my dogs and know what it takes to ensure your fur baby is happy and healthy. I am also a registered early childhood educator; families trust me with their children, so you can trust me with your furry friends. I currently have two dogs and one cat. Jewels is my 10 year old spaniel mix; Pëpé is my 11 year old chihuahua, and Verne is my 3 year old cat. Since I have a child, two dogs and cat, meet and greets are mandatory. The reason I want to take up walking/care taking dogs and cats is to be more active, and give some freedom and relaxation to other dog owners who need it. I have a fenced yard, and animals are free to roam the upper level of my house. The cat has the basement to himself . Your dog's must be leash trained and don't pull. I am unable to watch dogs that have seperation anxiety. I am at home full time right now. The longest I am away from the house is 2.5 hours. My goal is to open a huge pet sitting location so that I can offer more services to those in need. My service prices depend on your needs. Base prices are yard outings only. If your dog needs long walks, my prices will go up to include 30 minutes or 60 minute walks. I let them have access to water at all times and will play with them. There is a baby here, so the dogs can stay around her if they are good with babies.

About: I have loved and cared for animals since I was a child. Growing up, I had experience caring for many different kinds of animals, including cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, geese, silkworms, butterflies, ants, and mantises. Because of this, I learned early how to observe animals carefully, understand their needs, and be patient and gentle with different personalities. What sets me apart is my lifelong love for animals and my attention to detail. I understand that every pet has its own routine, comfort level, and personality. Some pets need space, some need extra attention, and some simply need a calm, clean, and safe environment. I’m happy to follow each owner’s instructions carefully and provide feeding, fresh water, playtime, litter box cleaning, walks, companionship, and photo updates. I will care for your pet with patience, respect, and genuine love, just like I would care for my own. I’m also very attentive to animal body language and behavior. I pay close attention to their signals, habits, comfort level, and boundaries. I understand that animals communicate in subtle ways, through posture, movement, sounds, energy, and routine changes. This helps me respond gently and appropriately, whether a pet needs space, reassurance, playtime, or extra care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I spend a lot of time at home and can provide regular attention throughout the day. I’m available for feeding, fresh water, playtime, litter box cleaning, photo updates, and gentle companionship. I’m also flexible with each pet’s routine and will follow the owner’s instructions carefully. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and cat-friendly environment. We have experience caring for cats, and our home has litter boxes, cat toys, scratching posts, cat trees, cozy resting areas, and food and water bowls. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and respected. I understand that every pet has a different personality, so I give shy cats space and offer attention to cats who enjoy company. I keep the litter area clean, follow feeding instructions carefully, and send photo updates so owners can feel reassured while they are away. In a client’s home, I will respect their space, follow their instructions, keep everything tidy, and make sure their pet has fresh water, food, a clean litter box, and calm companionship.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Mooers Forks

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Mooers Forks commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .

Yes, you can find sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. Many sitters can respond to messages in under an hour.

To find the fastest available match, message multiple sitters with a recent "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
