About: I have been exposed to dogs, cats, and other pets since I was a young child. I am most experienced with dogs, and am invested in their care. As a veteran I am well equipped to deal with potentially stressful situations, and will communicate with you effectively as needed. Currently a Full Time Student. I am available all day on weekends and Fridays. Only available afternoons to early evenings on weekdays, however I am flexible and willing to make concessions with advanced notice. Your pet will be under my control at all times, and will not be left unsupervised. If you request something specific (like a trip to the dog park for example) I'm more than happy to oblige. Special considerations will be followed if required or requested. Your pet will be treated as family unless specific considerations are required.
9. Megan F.
About: I've had dogs my entire life, but really started taking a lot of responsibility for their care around 12. From small breeds to large, I've loved them all! I have experience with behavioral issues, medication administration, seizures, and other medical issues. I'm a stay at home mom of two beautiful disabled children. We have one cat and one dog. I'm always home and available during the day for boarding. We have nice, big yards and we live in a very friendly neighborhood! I'd also love to help take care of your babes on the weekends, evenings, and occasionally during the week! I have an unfenced but spacious yard. Our home has the capacity to keep everyone separated if needed, but lots of room to be together, too! We have plenty of room for a crate, if that's how your sweet babe thrives, but we also support snuggles during sleep, too!
10. Vicki S.
“Our dog Kato has stayed with Vicki before but this time was extra special - he was staying with her because my now husband and I were getting married. Vicki went above and beyond and brought our dog to our wedding venue to visit us following our ceremony so he could join in for some family pictures. We were so grateful that he was able to be a part of our special day and We’ll definitely continue to use Vicki for boarding when Kato unfortunately isn’t able to join us on some of our weekend obligations.”
11. Bee D.
“Bee was amazing! She was great with our puppers and especially with Uno who can get nervous around new people. You can really tell how much she loves to do what she does. We would highly recommend her!”
12. Terry P.
“I use Terry for every big trip I go on. She’s the only person I trust whole heartedly with my dog who needs special treatment due to his temperament. Always rest easy when he’s with her!”
13. Lucy S.
“Lucy was great with Pennie! She made her feel comfortable and at home and she sent lots of pictures! We highly recommend Lucy and we will definitely use her services again.”
14. Chaitanya B.
About: I have been taking care of dogs since a long time. I take my dog for runs and walks for 7-8 miles daily. I can also take your dog for hiking if you want me to. I work from home on Fridays and Monday which is suitable for me since I am at home for the whole weekend and provide 24x7 care to the pets. I have friendly Australian shepherd who loves to play and is filled with high energy. My apartment has ample of space for pets to play around.
15. Lana E.
“She was great with Milo. I will definitely leave my dog again with her. He just loves to be there.”
16. Karin D.
“Karin was great. Dexter loved his stay with her and the many walks he got. A definite animal person who will take care of your animal like her own.”
17. Robert S.
“Bob was awesome with our 10-month-old (75 lbs.) puppy, Chip, and made our first experience using Rover great! During our meet and greet at a park, we went for a walk and Bob asked if he could walk Chip. He did a great job harnessing Chip's puppy energy and redirecting his attention when he got distracted or overly excited. It was nice to see such a positive interaction before our stay and it really put my mind at ease. During Chip’s stay, Bob was extremely responsive, attentive to our pup's needs and schedule, sent lots of (adorable) pictures, and even took the time to train and work with Chip. Bob is very knowledgeable about pet care and training, and Chip was more attentive and better mannered after his stay with Bob. I could tell that Chip really enjoyed his time with him and was very excited when he saw him for his second stay. We plan to use Bob again and highly recommend him to others looking for exceptional pet care!”
18. Daris F.
“Daris was great from start to finish. I have a very hard headed and "special" male English Bulldog that she spoiled and treated him like he was on vacation. He got alot of love attention, play time and walks but she was careful and mindful not to let him get too hot. She sent many many pics and updates and is very prompt and polite. If you need a sitter in the Scranton you better book her if you can, thanks alot...Rambo sends his doggie kisses ?”
19. Klare C.
“I needed someone last minute to watch my dog overnight and was so glad to find Klare and her fiance! She sent plenty of updates and pictures so I knew he was in good hands. Would definitely recommend to anyone.”
20. Tara F.
“Our dog Mochi had a great time staying with Tara! We got lots of pictures and updates while we were away and could tell that Mochi felt right at home with her. Thanks again!”
