About: I am new to Rover, but have worked in the Animal Health Industry as a Veterinarian Technician (animal nurse) and outside sales/customer service for the past 30+ years. I am semi-retired with animal care being my only job/business. I have experience with most animals from reptiles to cattle and currently have a little 5 acre hobby farm with a horse, goats, chickens, dog and cat. I am very flexible with days you need pet care. My days are filled with animal care of my own/yours, walking/hiking, gardening and home/property projects. Your pets will be treated with great care while spending time with me. I have a gated 5 acre hobby farm with 2 acres fully fenced. There are two very large fenced grass areas for running/playing. My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails/not fenced for leash walking. I am able to provide care and exercise depending on your pets needs. I will only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards people or other dogs for a positive/fun experience. I have giant wire crates/bedding for night sleeping/feeding and can take up to 3 dogs. I would prefer same family, but may be some overlap with scheduling. Otherwise they will be spending time with me in my home and on my property. There are two large porches for either sunning or shade. I also have air conditioning. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. If you have an older/well trained dog, that would be happy sleeping in a dog bed at night, I can be accommodating. Especially, if I have no other dogs boarding here. Must have been crate trained at some point in there life. Waking up in the am to an intact couch is nice! 😊

“We left our two dogs with Stacey and Patchen for 5 nights while we went on vacation. It was our first time boarding the dogs, and Stacey was incredible. She was extremely responsive during the scheduling and arranged for a meet and greet before hand. While we were on our trip, they sent us pictures of the pups every day, which I greatly appreciated. They kept the dogs busy with walks and playtime, and Stacey sent me updates every time a new friend joined the pack. Our pups came home happy and worn out. We’ll definitely be going back to Stacey and Patchen!”

About: I have caretaking experience, I have had many pets in my lifetime from puppies, dogs with heart murmurs, to timid rescues that need lots of growth and support. I have a belief that all dogs can be cares for with ease, because I understand them through their personalities and specific needs. Every dog is unique in a beautiful way, just like humans, I do my best to pick up on their queues and give them the attention they deserve and give them good energy. I am open to caring for pets every day of the week, Monday to Sunday from daytime to overnight needs. I am a writer and creative and this would be my main job other than those duties which I would balance efficiently. At my home, I have two separate units. I have a main house and a studio next door, along with two fenced in backyards. I am near the Hoquiam town hall nearby the town which is perfect for long walks.

When we picked up Maro after the activity, we left something behind. Thomas took time to bring them over to where we were staying... When Maro saw Thomas again, he was so happy which reconfirmed my dog had a good time with him!”

About: Pets are families. I am still learning of how to train the dogs professionally. I do my best to take care of them. To those potty-trained and friendly personality dogs, I am totally ok with them. I am a house wife. I am available at the most of time. I am adjustable and easy going. Please talk wit me to make a schedule. I walk the dog out when there is no rain. I brush her everyday. I wash the dog every other week. My son and I play with her everyday too. She is fully vaccine and dewormed.

About: I grew up with pets and have been a pet owner most of my life. We recently had to say goodbye to our Boston terrier due to cancer, and I’m missing having a furry friend to hang out with at home. I work from home 6 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Thursday and have two 15 minute breaks and a half an hour break during that time. I also have flexibility throughout the day. We have a nice comfortable home and a very walkable neighborhood. I enjoy walking down to the South Bend waterfront, which is only a couple blocks from our house.
