“We are extremely happy with Michelle. Hallelujah has already decided they're best friends. Michelle is prompt and provides excellent communication. It's hard to trust people with your beloved pets but I instantly felt trust with Michelle and knew my dog would be in good hands!”

About: I’m the go to for all my friends and family for dog and cat sitting. I love walking, staying with, and spoiling my furry nieces and nephews! I’m on a hybrid work schedule, so can pop in according to my availability. Always around on the weekends and have a fenced in backyard at my own home if they’d like to play here for a bit! Always ask for a collar with tags, vets info just in case, their dietary restrictions, and of course I need to know their fav treats!
About: I have pet sit dogs of all sizes over the past 12 years. I am happy to walk your dog or play a game of fetch. I'm also happy to check in on them and spend some time giving belly rubs and cuddles when you can't. I work a flexible part time job. I have time weekdays mornings, afternoons, and evenings to drop in for a walk or give some love to your pet. I will come to your house for walks and play sessions. I can crate your dog when I leave if needed. I can be flexible if you have a special request.

“Amanda is the absolute best!! I reached out to schedule dog walking services with less than 24 hours notice, and she responded right away to book. She did such a wonderful job. Amanda arrived right on time each day, sent pictures of my dog during the visit, and even filled up his water bowl before leaving. I am beyond thankful that she took such great care of my dog and he loved her company. I would highly recommend her services and can’t wait to book with her in the future!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I currently work from home for a family business, but I am looking to expand my own business and passion - taking care of animals! I worked for doggy daycares and boarding facilities for 3.5 years, ensuring the safety, happiness, and health of a wide variety of dog breeds and ages. I have administered medications, completed dog handling courses, and grooming training as well. This led me to groom professionally full-time for 2 years after college. I now prefer to do at-home bathing sessions and spend more time with pets one-on-one in a homey environment. In addition to dogs, I have taken care of fish, cats, amphibians, lizards, and birds. I have a 9 year old bunny of my own, so I am well-versed in rabbit care. Throughout high school, I volunteered at PetSmart taking care of the cats and at Diane's Pet Supplies, too, walking their dogs. These are all in addition to being my primary neighborhood dog-sitter/walker. Pet sitting fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work remotely with a highly flexible schedule. This allows me to adjust my day around your pet’s needs—whether that means regular walks, consistent feeding times, play breaks, or simply being present for companionship. I’m able to provide frequent check-ins. For stays in my own house, because I’m home throughout the day, your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and interaction. My flexible schedule also allows me to closely follow your pet’s routine and provide consistent, attentive care to keep them comfortable and well cared for. I’m committed to providing attentive, reliable care for every pet I look after. I’m happy to take your dog on walks, follow feeding instructions closely, and administer any medications as needed. When caring for your pet in your home, I make it a priority to maintain their normal routine so they feel comfortable, secure, and stress-free while you’re away. I also pay close attention to behavior and overall well-being, ensuring your pet stays happy, healthy, and at ease. If your dog is staying in my home, they’ll be treated just like my own. They’ll enjoy plenty of affection, attention, and enrichment throughout the day—including couch privileges, treats (as approved), and lots of cuddles. Because I work from home, your pet will have near-constant supervision and companionship, allowing me to closely monitor their safety, comfort, and health for a smooth and enjoyable stay!

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a kid. Everything from turtles, fish, hamsters, to cats and dogs. I’m currently a stay at home mom with a 5.5 and 3 year old. All of us love animals, especially dogs. We would be honored to care for your fur babies while you are away! I’m a stay at home mom and my husband works from home. Between the two of us, someone is usually here. Sometimes I have errands to run but I’m not ever gone more than 2-3 hours max. I do not have a fenced in yard but am happy to walk your dog as often as needed. We have a very dog friendly neighborhood and it’s quiet. We are open to using a crate or don’t have to- whatever is the owners preference.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life. I've taken care of two dogs. My schedule is very open and I am very flexible! Would love to get repeat clients! I have grown up around dogs and I adore them. I have a lot of experience with them and love working with them. About: I have experience caring for my family’s two beautiful Australian Shepherds, each with a personality completely their own! First, there’s Coco—also known as “Loco Coco.” She is incredibly sweet, very anxious, smart as hell, and somehow equally goofy. Caring for Coco has taught me the importance of patience, reassurance, and understanding that every dog experiences the world differently. Then there’s Ember. She’ll growl when you pet her… and then growl when you stop petting her! She can be misunderstood and a little moodier, but she is also incredibly loyal and loving in her own unique way. Ember has taught me to respect boundaries, understand body language, and recognize that affection doesn’t always look the same for every dog. Having experience with two very different temperaments has helped me become patient, understanding, and adaptable when caring for animals. I approach every pet as an individual and will take the time to learn what makes your furry family member feel comfortable, happy, and loved. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, goofy, independent, cuddly, or a little misunderstood, I will provide care personalized to their individual wants and needs. Your pet deserves someone who will treat them with patience, understanding, confidence, and plenty of love—regardless of their personality! I currently work full-time as an Environmental Scientist with a flexible schedule due to the nature of my work. My position allows me to work remotely, in an office, and onsite at facilities, which gives me flexibility and makes me accommodating when it comes to scheduling pet and house sitting. I am also open to traveling and overnight stays! Because I can work remotely at times, I enjoy the opportunity to spend time in new places while also providing reliable care for your home and pets. I truly miss having furry friends of all shapes and sizes around, and I would love the opportunity to give them plenty of attention, care, and companionship while you’re away. I am very accommodating and will always do my best to work with your schedule, your pets’ routines, and your individual needs. Your home is your safe space—your sanctuary after long days—and the last thing I would ever want is to disturb that peace of mind. I would treat your home and your pets with the same care, respect, and consideration that I would want for my own. This is your time to relax, travel, and enjoy your vacation or whatever may take you away from home. The last thing you should have to worry about is paying for a service while feeling uncomfortable or uneasy about leaving your beloved pets and home with someone you don’t know. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing that your home is being respected and your pets are being cared for with genuine attention and compassion—so you can truly relax while you’re away.

About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I grew up with three wonderful dogs throughout my childhood, each teaching me something different about love, patience, and companionship. One of them was even a future seeing-eye dog. Although we only had him for about a year before he went on to begin his important work, it was incredibly rewarding to be part of his journey and to help prepare him for the life-changing role he would have. When my husband and I bought our first home, one of the very first things we did was adopt the sweetest girl named Kora. She filled our home with joy, laughter, muddy paw prints, and unconditional love for ten unforgettable years. Saying goodbye to her was one of the hardest things we've ever done, but I wouldn't trade a single moment we had together. Because of these experiences, I know that dogs aren't "just pets"—they're family. Whether your dog loves long walks, endless games of fetch, belly rubs, or simply having someone nearby to keep them company, I'll care for them with the same patience, kindness, and attention I'd want someone to give my own. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy until you're back home. Beginning August 1st, my scheduled will be wide open. I have been working as a Licensed Massage Therapist for the past 11 years...and for 6 of those years I have owned my own business. I have recently decided to retire and close my business. I feel that pet sitting is the perfect mix of flexibility while also scratching the itch to spend all my time with fluff balls! I am looking forward to taking your dog on their walks, playing fetch in the backyard, or cuddling on the couch with them. I also love to spend time with you cats, rabbits, rats, hermit crabs...you get the idea!
“My dogs always look forward to seeing Amber and I'm so thankful I found such a trustworthy and caring person to take care of my dogs when I'm not home! She follows all directions and I know all my dogs (including my senior pups) are safe and happy in her care. Thank you, Amber!”

About: I am an animal lover that provides pet sitting, walking, stop-by visits, and all the pampering your pet could ever need! I took a break for a while, added a human child to our pack, but I am back!! Being animal lovers, our family currently has one dog! Our puppy’s name is Kira and she is a 10 month old ball of energy. I am very experienced with animals as I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and fish. I love to care for the pets of our friends and family and would like to care for your pets as well! We love to go on long walks and throw a ball/frisbee in the back yard for playtime with our Kira. I can also assist in last minute visits or vet appointments as well as help with pet meds (insulin included) in your absence. My schedule is pretty flexible at times when I am not at my part time job and I’ll always do my best to assist your needs. Hope to hear from you! Mandi I’m currently working part-time, and have flexibility with my schedule. If there’s any days you don’t see his available, just shoot me a message! I am very big on pet safety, so I follow any rules my clients at forth to the letter! Whether it be walks or playtime, I will make your dog happy as possible in the short time that I’m there.
About: I have raised pets for years and nursed puppies and kittens of all ages. I personally have 1 dog and 4 cats currently. I’ve trained my own dogs to be well mannered and good tempered while making sure they have plenty of room for fun. I treat all of my pets like children and make sure they are all taken care of as well as I can. I have experience with raising dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. Every animal has their own personality and I have never come in contact with a pet that I’ve felt is too much. Patience is a virtue with all new animals and I make it a goal to make them feel comfortable with me. Our dog consistently goes on hikes with us. We force her on runs even as she gets older. She is 8 now and we keep her moving. They get very consistent play at home and occasionally I force my cats up from naps. Loves of love and pets, many forced cuddles from the animals.
About: Hey everyone! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. I have 2 at home, an Australian Cattle Dog Fox Terrier mix and a Husky. I’m a freelance photographer and an occasional dog sitter. I spend a few of my weeks out of the month dog sitting for 2 adorable pups. I simply can’t imagine my life with out a dog and I’d love to meet yours! Expect photo updates of your pups throughout my visit! I’m a freelance photographer so my schedule is very flexible. I work from home during the week and am available most weekday mornings and afternoons while my weekend schedule can be a bit more irregular. I’m used to dogs small and large and have pets in my household with jealousy related to food or attention. I can handle medium-large dogs on a leash and am used to keeping an eye for open gates in fences in yards.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
