Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—it’s like a built-in rhythm. Mornings usually start with feeding them and a quick check-in to see how they’re doing. If I’ve got a dog, a walk’s non-negotiable; it’s good for both of us. Throughout the day, it’s little things—refilling water, a bit of playtime, or just keeping an eye out for anything off. Weekly, I carve out time for grooming, like brushing or a bath if they need it, and I’ll check supplies—food, treats, meds—to make sure I’m not running low. It’s less about ‘fitting it in’ and more about it being a priority that keeps me grounded. For clients’ dogs, I stick to their playbook. They say ‘feed at 8, one scoop,’ I’m on it. Walks are by their clock—long ones, short loops, whatever the dog needs. I’ll toss a ball or just hang out if that’s their vibe. I watch for quirks—doesn’t eat without a pat, hates rain, that stuff—and adjust. Messes don’t linger I swipe paws if it’s wet out. They get a dog that’s fed, exercised, and happy, and a house still intact.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I helped my childhood dog with her liter and one of her puppies was my best friend until he crossed the rainbow bridge a year ago. I currently have a sweet loving 7 year old black lab and a fun almost 2 year old labradoodle. I’m a stay at home mom who homeschools as well and play outside a lot with my children and my dogs. Anything after 6 pm I won’t be able to do considering I will be doing bedtime. I have a fully fenced in lot that has 2 dog houses and grass that is also shaded. I also have a crate and normally I am home and just let my dogs play as much as they want.

About: I grew up with dogs so I have been around them almost my whole life. I am comfortable around most friendly dogs and love to help them feel comfortable with me as well. We currently have two Besinji’s (a 3 year old neutered male and a 2 year old spayed female). I have also watched other dogs before including a senior dog that required medicine on a scheduled basis. Watching these other dogs included taking them for walks, prepping their meals, supplying treats, and of course playing and cuddling! Husband and wife team! Husband works from home and I am a stay-at-home mom. Between us both we’ll be available to fit almost any schedule! We have a fenced in yard and 2 dogs. Our dogs have their own gated room that can easily be watched from other rooms on the main floor. Our dogs sleep in their own crates at night. We make sure that our dogs have food and water available throughout the day.

About: I have 2 dogs and 1 cat at our beautiful home in VA. They have all of my attention as a child would. I treat other people’s fur babies like they are my own. I believe I can do great in an environment surrounded by what I love most, which is why I chose to care for animals full time. I have an open schedule that will most likely meet your needs so I can give your fur baby my full and uninterrupted attention. I love soaking up the sun so we will get plenty of outside time instead of sitting inside all day. I have a big fenced in yard and 2 of my own doggos to help keep yours (if boarding in my home) happy and full of energy. If I am checking on your fur baby in your home, I’ll do what I can to make sure they’re happy when I visit and well taken care of while you are gone.

Having experience with all kinds of animals, I know the importance of meeting the needs of each animal and giving it the love and care it deserves and desires. I have several families that reach out to me when they are planning a trip so that I can care for their pets while they are away. I understand the importance of maintaining the pet owners routine, commands, and affection with their pets to help reduce anxiety and stress while they are away. My goal is to love their pets as if they are my own. I have cared for our own dogs as seniors and have experience with failing body functions and know how to administer medications and assist the animal with getting up and moving around. I also have much experience with puppies since I breed Australian Shepherds and care for the puppies from the time they are born until they are at an appropriate age and health standard to go to their new families. I am so excited to meet many other pet families in our area and live on your pet so you can feel comfortable and at peace any time you need to travel and your pet has to stay behind. It’s hard enough to say good-bye, so having peace of mind on how they will be cared for while you are away can make a good trip a GREAT one!! I am available most days of the week for 24/7 care since we are a homeschooling family and I am a stay at home mom. Pets are allowed in our home as long as they get along well with other pets and children. I do have an unground fence and collars that I can use to teach your pet to stay in our yard. I also have two nice size kennels that give dogs plenty of room to wander inside and outside the kennel walls.

About: I've taken care of cats all my life and dogs from time to time. From back when I was a teen at home with our family cat to my own Tuxedo Kiwi I've been caring for cats all my life. I have a deep understanding of cat body language, respecting their boundaries, and providing the attention and care they need. I work from home as a software developer and am looking for something to break up my day between calls and project tasks. Being a remote worker means I don't get much excitement day to day.
