About: I started house-sitting for a friend of the family in my early adulthood. I started doing this multiple times for the same family (him and his wife had two cats), and eventually word got out that I was the go-to "house-sitting guy" and I started getting asked to house-sit by several people I knew. Over the past ten years I've probably house-sat a few dozen times—sometimes for a few weeks at the same house. I clean up after myself which is probably why people keep asking me back. I treat every house like it’s my own—or, honestly, better than my own. I mostly have experience taking care of cats—however, I have taken care of plenty of dogs, too (one of which had been rescued from an abusive previous owner). Other specialized pet care I'm experienced with: Administering insulin shots (cats) Administering oral medications (pills) to both cats & dogs Reptile care I'm single guy and I can work remote some. I take pet-sitting seriously and coordinate my schedule around it. I have pet-sit in St. Louis and I've pet-sit in Chicago and I've made it work. I only accept house-sitting assignments I can handle and give 100%. I take the time to read and consider all of your instructions. Like I mentioned previously, I coordinate my schedule AROUND pet-sitting and not vice-versa. The pets come first, and my life comes second. If it isn't going to work, I don't take on the assignment. I am reliable and have many references who can vouch for me.

About: I have always lived in a home with animals around. My childhood home always had at least one beloved cat running around. In adulthood I have of course continued the cat person legacy, as well as being roughly 3 years into having my first dog. The latter has been such a fun adventure and now I love dogs just as much as I have always loved cats! I am currently looking to work full-time as a pet sitter. Other than Wednesdays (previous engagement) I can be available for whatever visit or walk schedule your pet needs! I do not currently offer boarding services. But for dog walks, I have plenty of extra leashes if needed! I also have a never ending supply of cat toys that mine has stopped caring about (cat people--if you know you know) which I'm more than happy to share.

Jacqueline takes wonderful care of our dog and special needs cat. During a very scary medical event for our cat (no fault of hers), she was communicative, compassionate and quick acting. We were very comforted to have her taking care of our beloved cat during the time. She is also very respectful with our home and sends lots of updates and photos. Highly recommend.

Jacob stayed with my very active Labrador retriever for two nights over the weekend. It was a great visit. Jacob provided regular updates and asked clear, specific questions as needed.
