About: Hello 👋🏽 I’ve been caring for pets professionally since 2017 (personally since 2004) and providing reliable, attentive care is something I genuinely enjoy. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and needs. I’ve worked with animals of many sizes and temperaments, from energetic dogs to independent cats who prefer patience and calm. I’m also comfortable caring for reptiles, fish, and other small critters. I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I grew up with three family dogs and have had three cats, a snake, and fish of my own, so I understand how important it is to trust someone in your home and with your pets. I’m attentive, patient, and respectful of each pet’s individual needs, and I take pride in providing consistent, thoughtful care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule carefully so visits are never rushed and pets receive consistent, dependable care that aligns with their normal routines. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and household rules. I’m attentive to pet body language and stress signals and adjust my approach to help pets feel safe and comfortable. I also treat every home with care and respect and aim to leave it just as clean, or cleaner, than I found it.
“Jessica was amazing!!! So flexible with plans and sweet to my boy Sumo. Very trustworthy and reliable, would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for help with their pup!”

About: I know how hard it is to leave your pets while you travel, and my goal is to make your little fur friends feel safe and loved while you're away. I grew up caring for cats, but also love taking care of dogs when given the opportunity. I currently have no pets of my own, so I have plenty of love and attention to provide to your animals. All pets have their idiosyncrasies and quirks, and I hope to get to know your pets and provide them with the care and respect they deserve. I am self-employed and work from home part-time, which means I have flexible availability and can work around your pets' schedules: feeding time, medication time going outside for potty breaks, accommodating the zoomies, etc. I am enthusiastic about going on walks with pups and have lots of time for play! Meeting up with you and your pet and learning about their needs is an important part of caring for them while you're away. Ideally, I'd like to set up a visit before you leave so we can determine whether I'm a good fit for you and your pet and establish what sort of care they'll require. During home stays, my goal is to leave your space just as nice/better than how I found it. I understand that some pets like their space and others need lots of attention, and my goal is to accommodate their unique needs and habits.
“Jenn did such a great job with our sweet dog. She sent pictures and videos of their time together and handled everything in a very professional and kind manner. We will definitely book her again when needing someone to spend time with Ginger!”

“Meghan, I’m so grateful for you. You came into my home with such calm care, followed every instruction, and treated my fur family with genuine love. You took Arrow for a real walk, made sure everything was secure, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Knowing my home was safe and my dog and cat were so well cared for meant everything to me. I’m looking forward to having you back very soon.”

About: Hi! I’m new using this platform but I’ve always had dogs in my care and now have a very active Bengal kitten at home, so I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understanding their different needs. I grew up in a household with dogs of all sizes (from large breeds like Rottweilers to small breeds like Yorkies) which has given me experience handling a wide range of personalities and energy levels. I’m used to high energy pets, daily play and exercise, maintaining clean spaces, and adjusting care based on each pet’s personality. I focus on patience, routine, and making sure every pet feels safe, engaged, and well cared for while their owner is away. I’m currently a full-time graduate student with flexibility in my schedule, which allows me to plan visits in advance and accommodate drop-in care when needed. I’m generally available before 10:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, and I can plan ahead to ensure consistent, reliable care. I am amenable to anything your doggie/cat may need to feel good and safe. Just give me specifications or contact me with any doubts about walking/sitting services.
“Ugur did a great job! He handled the job well, followed instructions perfectly, and sent adorable photos. He also gave good updates and was on time. The pups were in great hands. I would recommend and use again!”

About: I have been taking care of my own animals my whole life, and have sat for other people on numerous occasions. I have also assisted with much of the care and feeding of a dog and several cats over the years. I live in South St. Louis City, and I can only really work there or in areas near there, but if you live close to me you will never be without the help you need. I can stay in your house if you'd like me to, but I can't keep other people's pets in my house because I have a very nervous and shy cat who would be made uncomfortable by this and a crazy dog who might scare your pets. I repeat: I can stay in your house or I can just pop in and out to take care of your pets, but I cannot have outside animals stay in my home. I also walk dogs. The rates for that might be a little bit different, but I assure you they will still be affordable. I have to say though that I cannot walk for an extended period in thunderstorms or freezing/icey temperatures. That's for my safety as well as your dog's. I will be your pet's new best friend and your asset when you are in a pinch or are going somewhere and can't take care of them. I have loved animals since I was a child, and I rarely find one with which I don't get along. I don't have a job which will take me out of town frequently, so I can provide my services as long as they are needed. I look forward to meeting you and your adorable animal friends! I have availability on weekdays as well as weekends Message me and we can talk about scheduling a time for me to walk your dog I will make sure the animal gets whatever care they need I am not a vet though, so if your animal is sickly and/or old then I don't know how well I can care for them
“Liz is dependable, responsible, and kind, I highly recommend hiring her! She walks our 8 year old dog and gives her medicine on week days. She is easy to contact and flexible for changes in our schedule. Our dog loves Liz, she has a very calm and easygoing presence.”

About: I am a proud cat owner who has co-cared for all sorts of dogs over the years. From pitbulls to chihuahuas, I've been challenged and rewarded by all my furry friends. Apart from roommates and partners, I've also cared for many of my friends animals while they were out of town. One of whom (a dog) I had to administer medication orally. I am also comfortable with syringe applications. From a personality standpoint, I have a way with dogs that just comes naturally. I'd call it a commanding presence, although I can be a big softie, too. Always down for a cuddle! For both cats and dogs, know that I will give your pets time to adjust to my presence, aka let them come to me and give them space, so that I can foster a measure of trust between us. When walking your dog expect that I will be focused, confident and vigilant, keeping an eye out for any triggers your dog my have to outdoor stimuli. For every booking I accept there will be pictures provided as well as a detailed summary of our time together. Your pet's safety is my primary concern, so should anything abnormal occur you will be notified in a timely manner. Please leave information regarding diet, medications, general health info, behavioral issues, personality, and hiding spaces. When it comes to daily routine I'd like to keep things as close to their eveyday schedule as possible. Any information about your building, parking, lockbox location, or house rules would be great help. I'm always available to answer any questions you have, so feel free to contact me with any concerns via the Rover phone number provided. Thanks for wading through this with me. Can't wait to meet your special friends. ** Bonded and licensed via Pet Care Insurance (PCI) My best friend and roommate has an elderly cat I help her care for, so pet care is a daily commitment for me. Your pets will receive the same love and care. I am on the job hunt and a DC transplant, so I have a pretty open schedule at the moment and a healthy desire to explore the area with your pups. I am not accepting stays at the moment, but at your residence I intend to give the same care and attention you would. Please let me know of your daily routine, their favorite toys/games, and sociability level. My aim is to build a foundation of trust with your animals and have a safe, fun time together.

Margaret walked Alfie weekly for 6 months, and she has been wonderful to work with. She is communicative, punctual, reliable, and very dependable. Alfie is always excited to see her and clearly enjoys their walks together. We really appreciate the care and consistency she brings each week.

Renee is wonderful. She is reliable, communicative, punctual, and has my dog's best interests at heart. I trust her fully to make sure that my pup is happy and safe on walks. When my dog was sick, she kept a close eye on her and kept me updated about symptoms. She's absolutely incredible and would recommend her to anyone.

Ben has been great with our two pups. One of our girls is older and a bit grumpy but Ben manages her very well. He’s always very prompt and reliable. I often have to book with short notice (sorry Ben!) and he’s been very accommodating. Definitely would recommend!

Jenn is an outstanding walker for my dog, Oakley. She was consistent and on time with every walk. She was flexible when I needed to switch days during the week. She walked Oakley in all kinds of weather. Most importantly, I could tell from the pictures she sent that Oakley enjoyed himself and was well cared for on the walks. I strongly recommend Jenn for your dog walking needs!

Meghan, I’m so grateful for you. You came into my home with such calm care, followed every instruction, and treated my fur family with genuine love. You took Arrow for a real walk, made sure everything was secure, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Knowing my home was safe and my dog and cat were so well cared for meant everything to me. I’m looking forward to having you back very soon.

Miranda is amazing. She takes care of Tofu so well every time and he is so happy to see her. She is punctual and communicative. I especially love all the action photos and updates she sends of them two throughout the walk! So happy to have someone as wonderful as Miranda taking care of Tofu.
