“It was our first time using Rover and we could not be happier. We needed Rookie to be cared for while we took care of a family emergency. Our concern was that Rookie has separation anxiety and guess what?? He did great with Kari. Thank you for providing us with peace of mind during an insecure time. Thank you again.”

“Tiffany is awesome! I brought my two anxious dogs for the first time for daycare. They seemed to bond with her very quickly. She sent numerous updates throughout the day, so I didn’t have to worry about anything. Would highly recommend!”

“Fatima has watched our shepherd mix Millie several times and has always taken really good care of her. She takes her on walks, and Millie loves playing with Harper. A worn out high energy dog is such a good thing for us. We will be using her as needed in the future, for sure.”

About: In Chile I grew up in the countryside always surrounded by many animals. I started taking care of friends and family's pets since I was 10 years old. Currently in Chile I have 3 dogs and 2 cats and I miss them a lot, so I would love to take care of pets while I am in California. On weekdays I work in a winery, so I am available to care for your pet from Monday to Friday from 5 pm and full availability on weekends. I live in a house that has a large patio with space available to play and completely closed, pets can have access to the interior of the house.

“Robin's doggy daycare was perfect for our 2-year-old Golden Doodle. She provides a safe home environment and supervised play for the dogs. He had not been to a doggy daycare before this, so I was unsure if he would be anxious. But he settled in right away. We will definitely leave him with Robin again.”

“Gabriel was so willing to help Cooper acclimate (he’s a nervous little pup)…to the point of using my puppy sling. So caring. And it was such a relief to get photos through the day on our first day.”

About: Spa Le Chien is specially tailored to your dog's needs while you are away from OR visiting California's Wine Country. I strive to make the experience unforgettable for your precious family member. I have been pampering pooches in my well-appointed modular house, located in a bucolic 55+ senior park in the charming village of Sonoma, for almost fifteen years. As a rule I only care for a single K9 at a time, so I can give it my full, undivided attention. There may occasionally be overlap between clients but rarely more than a single day or night. Safety is my first priority. Cleanliness, exercise, feeding and entertainment are our focus. I tend to work with small, older dogs and have helped elderly and infirm ones, too. But I am open to all types. I consult thoroughly with owners about their requirements before embarking on any regimen. I have never had a dissatisfied client...dogs love it here!

“We are very pleased with our first day with Carl. He is professional yet very affectionate in his approach to handling multiple dogs. He is great with communicating details and photos that make for a relaxed and confident puppy parent. This was our first day-long visit in preparation for a boarding visit of 18 days. I will check in to let you know how everything goes with boarding. Carl, thank you for putting our minds at ease!”

I work from home and am a regular at the Sonoma Regional Park and local dog parks. I’m a dog person, so almost everything I do is focused around that. I have a fenced yard and a doggie door. The safety and comfort of my very friendly dog Rain and your fur baby’s is the center of my home. I frequent the dog parks and go on dog-friendly adventures. My SUV is set up for safe transport.

“Jeremy and Jordan have a great house to host dogs and an amazing yard. Their pets are happy characters and they have a great vibe going. We already booked our next stay. Thank you!”

Annette G.
“Oh my God, you guys, Annette is, like, the ultimate dog whisperer. Seriously. My beagle, Frances? Total nervous wreck. Think, like, first date-level anxiety but all the time. He’s super sensitive, super picky, and not exactly what you’d call “a people person.” But Annette? She walks in, and suddenly, it’s like she’s some kind of dog goddess. She didn’t force anything. She gave him space, let him come to her, and honestly, I think she has, like, psychic powers or something, because she just knew what he needed before he even did. And let me tell you, Frances does not warm up to people easily. But now? He actually gets excited to see her. Excited! So, if you want someone who will treat your dog like the VIP they are and let’s be real, they totally deserve it, Annette is your girl. THANKS ANNETTE!”

Jordan & Jeremy P.

Margaret T.
“I have know Margaret ( Megan) for nearly 10 years in many capacities—as a colleague and most importantly as a trusted friend! She is conscientious, capable, kind and so easy going too. She ranks at the top of being flexible, responsible and an amazing human being! She has always had pets since I have known her and offers the utmost care and comfort—- She would be who I would call when we get our next rescue dog!!”

Julie L.
“I have known Julie since grade school and we have been close friends for 40 years. Julie has always had a passion and connection with all animals. Her last three golden retrievers were her pride and joy and brought her so much happiness. They went with her everywhere - the beach, car rides, Lake Tahoe and she was so talented with her photography documenting all of their excursions together. I can’t think of a more gentle, loving and engaging person to take exceptional care of any animal she is with. Julie has a heart of gold - any pet would be so lucky to have her as their companion.”

Katie T.
“Glad to hear KK is putting her love of dogs to a good venture! KK is the ultimate dog whisperer! KK has prove her abilities time and time again. I trust KK to sit for my next dog adoption! Joyce Ogaard”
