About: Hi! I’m Christine, a professional pet care specialist with over 15 years of experience working with dogs, cats, and small animals. In my early 20s I worked as a vet tech until I opened my own pet grooming salon. I operated that salon for 12 years before transitioning careers. My background includes professional grooming, animal handling, pet behavior, and pet first aid. I provide dependable, compassionate care and understand that every pet has unique needs. I hold certifications in pet CPR & First Aid. In 2025 I received certification in feline safety through the Intellectual Groomers Association. My current work-from-home position provides me with a flexible schedule, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Because I work remotely, pets are rarely left unattended and receive consistent supervision, companionship, and care throughout the day. When pets stay in my home, I do my best to maintain the routine they’re accustomed to so they feel comfortable and secure. About: I’ve had pets all of my life. I grew up with large dogs and currently have 2 small breed dogs. I have had older pets and puppies too. I take amazing care of my pets, and will for yours. My husband and I own a house with a backyard and lots of space to walk dogs around the neighborhood. I am a stay at home mom and am available to watch your dogs all day and provide the best care for them. I’m always here. I have a gated backyard with 2 small breed dogs. They are allowed inside and can go outside anytime to potty. If needed, I can crate your dog and we have a puppy room inside the house where they can sleep.

About: I grew up in a family that bred dogs, so caring for animals has been a part of my life from the very beginning. I’ve been hands-on with puppies from birth through 10 weeks old, helping with everything from feeding and socializing to monitoring their health and growth. About: What sets me apart from many sitters is my lifelong experience with animals and my ability to genuinely connect with them quickly — especially pets who may be anxious, shy, older, highly attached to their owners, or simply used to lots of companionship and attention. Over the years, I’ve helped care for foster litters of puppies and kittens requiring around-the-clock feeding, monitoring, and weight tracking alongside my best friend, who is a veterinarian. I also have veterinary technician and shelter experience, along with hands-on experience caring for senior pets, administering medications, reinforcing basic puppy training, and supporting animals with special routines, anxieties, or medical needs. I’m currently working with one of my own dogs in service dog training, and I’m also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who previously worked with pre-K children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Both experiences have strengthened my understanding of behavioral reinforcement, nonverbal communication, patience, routine, trust-building, and adapting to different personalities and emotional needs. In many ways, both children and animals communicate heavily through energy, body language, consistency, and feeling emotionally safe, and I’ve found those skills help me connect especially well with animals of all temperaments. I’m also an avid walker and love spending time outdoors, taking long walks through the beautiful Riverside and Avondale neighborhoods, local parks, and nearby green spaces — especially when the weather cools down a bit. For more active dogs, I genuinely enjoy playtime, walks, fetch, and engagement throughout the day, while calmer pets usually find me just as happy to provide cuddles, companionship, and a peaceful environment. Because I operate my design company remotely and on my own schedule, I’m often able to spend extended time in the home providing companionship, supervision, structure, affection, and a calming presence throughout the day and overnight — not just quick drop-ins. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and creating an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and relaxed while their owners are away. Because I own and operate my own boutique design firm, my schedule is highly flexible and allows me to work remotely from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. I’m also involved in tween mentorship and creative consulting, both of which I manage on my own schedule, making it easy for me to prioritize the needs and routines of the pets in my care. I’m naturally both an early riser and a night owl, so I’m available for early morning feedings and walks, late-night potty breaks, overnight companionship, medication schedules, and pets who simply feel more secure having someone nearby throughout the day and evening. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy the companionship, structure, and calm presence animals bring. Whether I’m working quietly from my laptop while keeping your pet company, taking breaks for walks and playtime, or providing attentive overnight care, I’m able to give pets far more presence and consistency than many traditional sitters with rigid work schedules. Safety, trust, and creating a calm environment are extremely important to me, whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have two friendly small dogs and cats of my own, so pets staying in my home should be comfortable around other animals and able to coexist peacefully. I’m conscientious about alarms, locked doors, medications, feeding schedules, potty routines, cleanliness, and communication.
