“Madeline came by to get the dogs zoomiez out so they didn't spend too much alone time being mischievous. I'd recommend Madeline and hope to work with her in the future!”

About: I have taken care of just about every type of animal since I was young (dogs, cats, horses, birds, fish, hedgehogs, gerbils, snakes, etc.) I've trained and raised several puppies and kittens. The majority of the animals in my life were adult animals and if they were family pets, they stayed with us until it was time to cross the rainbow bridge so I also have a fair amount of experience with senior care as well. I grew up with no less than 4 animals in the house at all times, so I'm very good with multiple-pet households, but I currently live in a household with only one dog, so I am also comfortable doting on just one at a time :) I am currently available 24/7 and this is my primary career! I am happy to care for your fuzzy friends and family any time of day or night, their set schedule becomes my own! :3 I really believe every pet is different and taking into account their personality, energy, as well as their history or needs is very important. I like to give pets loads of attention if they are the type that likes attention, or I'm happy to just sit and read a book with them if they are more the sleepy type. I don't believe in leaving dogs in yards unattended, and I am a very communicative person-- I am not afraid to ask questions or clarify things I may not be sure of.
About: I still have few spots available in May, June and part of July, so book your pet sitting now! Sedro-Woolley, Bellingham and Mount Vernon! As a school bus driver, I work 6-10 AM, then have few hours break and go back to my afternoon drive 2-6 PM. To ensure proper care for animals, I like to book clients no further than a 30 min drive from Sedro Woolley. Please take this into consideration when looking at a sitter for your pets! The school year ends June 12th and I am available until mid-July. Afterwards, I am taking time off for my own motorcycle travels (this time to Colorado) and then spend August in Europe :) I have owned cats, large dogs (100 + lbs), and horses over the years, so I'm well-versed in handling a variety of pet needs. I am comfortable around animals and can stand my ground with them. I enjoy large breeds and, having two 150Lbs + dogs before I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of them! I am available for short and long term stays in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Dogs, cats, horses, turtles and fish - all welcomed and loved! I work as a school bus driver, so I leave the house early in the morning for few hours, then have 2-4 hrs off and then drive the kids home in the afternoon, usually 2-6 pm. If this is something that will work for you and your pet family, please reach out! I usually do a greet & meet before to make sure that everyone is comfortable! I will follow the directions you give me, be it giving medication to your pets, putting it in the crate at night or when away and any other rules that you may have.

About: I have taken care of my dog for several months, kept up with his training and spend time playing. Puppies need extra attention to grow into healthy adults. “She took care of my babies when I went to Hawaii. After the first day she hurt her leg and was very upfront with me about it, even asking if I wanted to use someone else. I chose to stick with her and she let my dogs out to potty the whole week even on crutches. Honest and reliable person!”

About: Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had this special bond with animals. I was always the one neighbors/familt friends would call to walk their dogs, feed their cats, or look after their birds and reptiles. It just came naturally to me, and I loved every minute of it. Those early experiences really sparked my passion for animal care. As I grew older, I wanted to make sure I was the best at what I do, so I took lots of courses in pet health, nutrition, and behavior. I believe every animal is unique and deserves personalized care, so I always try to understand their individual needs and personalities. Because of this, many pet owners trust me with their beloved animals, knowing they’re in good hands. I don’t just stick to the basics either. I’m known for going the extra mile, whether it’s staying up all night with a sick pet, finding the best toys and activities to keep them entertained, or just giving them lots of love and cuddles. My home often becomes a safe haven for animals in need, and I’m committed to making sure every pet I care for lives a happy, healthy life. Taking care of animals isn’t just a job for me; it’s a mission I’m truly passionate about. One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is seeing the transformation in the animals I care for. Whether it’s a rescue dog learning to trust again, a cat recovering from an illness, or a bird that starts to sing joyfully, each success story fuels my dedication. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of animals, each with its own story and needs, and it’s always a privilege to be part of their journey. Over time, I’ve built a reputation in my community for being reliable, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Pet owners know they can count on me not just for basic care, but for a level of attention and love that makes a real difference. It’s not uncommon for me to receive updates and thank-you notes long after I’ve cared for someone’s pet, which always warms my heart and reaffirms why I do what I do. Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue expanding my knowledge and skills in animal care. There’s always something new to learn, and I’m committed to staying at the forefront of best practices in pet health and well-being. My goal is to keep providing top-notch care and to be a trusted resource for pet owners who want the very best for their furry, feathered, or scaly family members. I work as a veterinary assistant at a pet emergency center, where I interact with animals of all kinds on a daily basis. In this fast-paced environment, I have gained extensive experience handling emergencies, assisting with medical procedures, and administering medications. My role requires me to stay calm under pressure, adapt quickly to unexpected situations, and provide compassionate care to animals, no matter how challenging the circumstance. When I provide care for pets in a client’s home, my top priority is to maintain the pet’s daily routine and ensure their comfort, health, and safety. I take every measure to reduce stress, provide consistent care, and keep owners updated throughout the process. To achieve this, I follow the guidelines below: • Feeding & Hydration • Meals are provided according to the pet’s regular schedule and portion instructions. • Fresh water is checked and refilled at every visit. • Any dietary restrictions, allergies, or special feeding requirements are strictly followed. • Medication & Special Care • Prescription and over-the-counter medications are administered exactly as directed. • Detailed records are kept for medication administration. • Any ongoing medical conditions, treatments, or post-operative care instructions are carefully monitored and followed. • Exercise & Enrichment • Dogs are walked according to their energy level, leash behavior, and owner preferences. • Playtime and enrichment activities are provided to keep pets mentally and physically stimulated. • Safety protocols are always followed when outside the home (e.g., secure leashing, avoiding unsafe areas, monitoring for triggers). • Health & Behavior Monitoring • Pets are observed closely for any changes in appetite, energy level, behavior, or bathroom habits. • Any signs of illness, injury, or distress are documented and reported to the owner promptly. • If needed, emergency veterinary care will be sought in accordance with the owner’s instructions. • Home & Environment • Litter boxes, cages, or designated potty areas are cleaned and maintained as instructed. • Pet areas are kept tidy, and any accidents are cleaned appropriately. • I respect the client’s home and belongings, ensuring cleanliness and security during each visit. • Communication & Updates • Owners receive regular updates, including written notes, photos, or videos upon request. • Any concerns or questions are communicated promptly for transparency and peace of mind. • Emergency contact information is kept on hand at all times. By following these standards, I am able to provide reliable, professional, and compassionate care while ensuring each pet feels safe and loved in their own home.

I live with my friend, on a 5 acre property, most is not fenced, there however is a small parcel with a fence behind the house for your dogs to run free with her 2 dogs who are very friendly with other dogs. Otherwise, there are cables for dogs that don't have good recall or likes to wander off. in the front yard. I do have a dog/cat bed ready to go, animals are allowed on my bed and stuff, unless the owners says otherwise, they will be allowed up. I also have some cat toys of my own your cats can play with. I am available most days or time throughout of the week for them to come over, but also will be able to do drop in visit as well if needed. I live in concrete Which has plenty room to run and play. That is why when I usually am willing to do any size dog I prefer to have smaller dogs in here than big ones. There is no fencing but there is woods and neighbors where I live where they can run and play with me. I do live on a property in a SEPERATE housing from my friend who has 2 kids who’s 7/8 year old and has a dog. I do have a dog bed and some toys in preparation for dogs, they're allowed on my couch and bed if they are ar your own house. I also do have a designated fenced area for them to run and play, so I would be able to let them out to play and stuff as well as take them on walks a few times through out the day. I also have cats which I have a catio for them but still, please be aware of whether your dogs are friendly with them or not. And let me know ahead of time so I know whether to keep my cats in my house or in a different building with my friends cats while your pets are here.

About: I grew up with golden retrievers and dobermans, and have a profound love for all dogs. I took a one year online and in person course for basic dog obedience training with Animal Behavior College. I enjoy taking my pups on hikes, swimming, and to parks where they can play. I also have chickens, turkeys, ducks, goats, rabbits, and geese! Animals are truly my passion, and my goal is to make my house feel like their home away from home. I'm a stay at home mom (I was previously a HS teacher), and my days are typically spent outdoors with my dogs and kiddos (weather permitting). So my schedule is very flexible! I have a fully fenced yard, and a house with plenty of room for the dogs to romp. I also have a designated area for my cats, whenever they’re wanting to get away from the dogs, so for in home pet sitting, your cat(s) can have a safe place to decompress and not be overwhelmed with dogs. I can easily crate dogs if needed, but my dogs usually have free run of the house, and your dog(s) can too! My dogs get along with animals of all kinds, and are very gentle and friendly.
About: I have taken care of different sized dogs and cats since I was 6. I take great care of pets and make sure that they are comfortable. I work remotely, so I am often available for services. I am also available on weekends and holidays, and am very flexible with other peoples' schedules. I will always make sure to discuss and make note of exactly what the client wants. I am very detail-oriented and will do everything I can to make sure I am taking the greatest care of your pet!
“We are so lucky to have found Aline to walk our Benji boy every week ❤️ Aline is so kind, communicative, and flexible with schedule changes. Her updates to me about Benji are filled with many cute pictures of Benny which help keep me at ease knowing he’s having lots of fun and being taken care of. Aline does not spare any details making sure I know where they walked, how his poop was, and if he behaved 😊 She also has experience with reactive dogs, which was an amazing bonus to us because Benji can be reactive around other big dogs— so we know he’s in good experienced hands with someone that knows how to handle his spicy side 🤣 We are thankful for Aline for taking care of our boy! ❤️”

I currently work part time and I am in school where I do most of my studies from home. I take frequent walks around the neighborhood and love to explore places in nature with the dogs as well. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
