About: I’m Ivy! I am a dog and cat lover who would be honored to spend time with your fur babies. Whether you’re looking for a mid day walk or a multi day pet/house sit while you enjoy your vacation, I’m your girl. **I can only accept bookings 2-3 months in advance** I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I have experience caring for dogs as small as 20lbs and as big as 130lbs. Ages from puppy to senior are okay. High energy dogs who need a run are a-okay too. Something that sets me apart is I’m an adult with a fully remote job so my time with your babies will not be interrupted by a 9-5. My experience with farm animals is limited, but my family has horses. I’m comfortable with water checks and grain / hay feeding, I work remotely full time so I can be present and on site all day. I do train in the evening a few days a week and would appreciate being able to swing by my house for a quick visit in the middle of the day. I’m happy to work with you on scheduling. I would care for your pets in your home in the manner you request. I leave each home better than I found it and will ensure your pets’ are treated like my own.

About: I’ve had for dogs of every age and size for my entire life, but have been a serious caretaker of them for about 10 years. I can give medicines including insulin shots, and will heed every dietary and exercise need given to me. I’m currently working full-time, however I commute from Ames to Des Moines every day so I am used to driving long distances. I also have a very flexible schedule and can work from home if I can give at least 2-3 days notice; I can leave for long periods at lunch; and I can get off work early if a drop-in visit is needed before 4:00. I can also stay as late as necessary into the evening, as long as expectations are communicated beforehand. I am extremely communicative and I will let my clients know if I am early, behind, or unable to complete a task. I cannot take pets into my apartment or workplace, however, I have experience with strictly and loosely trained animals in just about every situation under the sun. I am comfortable staying the night in a well secured home, or taking a few minutes to play with the pet(s) in the middle of the day. I am extremely clean and organized and will strive to leave my clients’ homes in the same shape or cleaner in case there are any accidents, as I am also well-versed in cleaning up after any mishaps from being left alone or too excited.

About: I have lots of experience working with dogs with Thyroid disorders, joint problems, hip problems, diabetes, and special diets. I'm very flexible. All you have to do is ask and we'll see. I've had Chocolate Labs, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Poodles, Terriers, and Shih Tzus. I love animals especially puppies and dogs. I am also willing to watch your cats if you also have them. I wanted to be a veterinarian or veterinary assistant but I didn't quite have the grades for it so that's why I decided to become a dog sitter, a dog walker, pet care taker, dog lover, and pet lover. About: I grew up with animals and as an adult i have had cats and dogs my whole life. I have also enjoyed caring for friends and family pets when needed. I have volunteered at the ARL and received some training. I have an open schedule with lots of flexibility that allows for plenty of time to take care of or hang out with my furrbabies.
