“Yajaira has been the best dog sitter for our two pups. She’s flexible, easy to work with, great communication skills. Our puppy’s are so much happier since hiring her!”

“Jenn was amazing with our dog from the get-go! They spent 3 days together while my partner was out of town and I was at work. She took very good care of him and loved on him like he was her own. Each day, I came home to a very happy pup! We will be calling on Jenn again in the near future!”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young. I love to take them on walks and play with them until they are worn out! My mornings and evening during the week are free, and weekend morning or afternoons are best. There are times throughout the day I’m available to come and check/play with your pets! I show my pets as well as other people’s pets love and affection, but also discipline and training when needed. I’m very playful with animals and love to entertain them.
“Shana took excellent care of our two cats, carefully noting and following instructions for their particularities. She responded to my request and all messages right away, which made working with her easy and reassuring. Shana’s care is conscientious and thoughtful, and I unhesitatingly recommend her.”

“Vanessa has great communication and cared for my cat while I was out of town. I appreciate the timeliness and overall care she provided for my sweet boy. I would recommend her to care for your animals, too.”

“Kasey was so great! My cats are very shy and timid and Kasey managed to get them all to make an appearance on the 2nd day, I was shocked. She communicated and sent pictures and really put my mind at ease while I was away. Absolutely would recommend her! She will be my go to from now on.”

About: Hey! I’m Andrew a professional photographer that loves hiking, fishing, & of course dogs and kitties!! I can teach your dog tricks!! I am very good at keeping pets well behaved and staying on track with your goals for your pet. I am a responsible pet caretaker that will value your pet just as much as you would yourself. I’m currently working as a Cellar supervisor in Walla Walla, you can often find me on my lunch breaks at my sisters hanging out with my her Australian Shepard & Red Heeler ♥️ I will not be accommodating any pets at my own place sadly. I have just moved to washington from Tennessee and will be here to dogsit, checkin, and walk only.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life. Soon enough I started getting pet sitting gigs from friends and family. From elderly dogs to 5 week old kittens I love and cherish every moment with them making sure they get all my love and attention. I’m currently waiting to hear back from jobs so I have all the time in the world currently. So if you need a pet sitter I’m available! I have two skittish cats in my home so I sadly cannot take care of pets in my home. When it comes to clients animals I make sure they are comfortable with me and give them the attention they want. I available for long walks and lot of play time outside.
About: For over a decade now, I have cared for animals across the range- farm animals, cats, and dogs. All of my pets receive loads of attention and love, no matter the age. Currently I am a college (running start) student and a track athlete, so my schedule has flexibility for pet care and house sitting. Aside from 10:30 am- 12:30pm on a daily basis, 10:30am-1:30 pm on Friday’s, some evenings from meets, and Saturday, I am available throughout the day and week for services from dog walks to house sitting. In a clients home I can follow the pet’s normal schedule for walking and feeding, including administering medications. For house sitting, my schedule allows flexibility to visit often and look after plants and pets.

About: I’m very familiar with different dogs, good with sensitive tummies and higher-energy leveled dogs, learned from a German shepherd. Good at giving meds and watching food portions and keeping a crazy puppy focused on the task at hand. I know how to be attentive, adaptable and firm, depending on your fur baby’s needs. I am currently a college student, so I can put time for your fur babies between classes, whether it be feeding or walks, and I am super flexible depending on your needs. I can be where you need me to be and give your animal its deserved time. While I do not do pet boarding, as I stay in dorms, I like to communicate with the owner beforehand to know what’s to expect and I also keep the house clean, so you don’t come back to hair or anything all over the carpet. I give walks all in neighborhoods and love to go to parks for dogs and let them run in fenced areas.
About: I’m extremely well versed in medications, anxious animals, special needs, and overall regular pet care. I’ve owned many animals who were well loved and lived well over 12 years. I work part time with shifts not over 6 hrs. I’m working on a full time job, but for now that’s not important to my schedule. I am not able to house animals at my own place. My cats are spoiled and very territorial when another animal enters their space unfortunately.
About: I am very tentative to health needs because that is what I have a background in for my education. I have a bachelors in biology and am looking to go into health care eventually. I know the importance of attentiveness towards critical care and alertness to when situations might be looking off. I pride myself in my organization, independence, and competence to complete most any task put my way even when it requires learning how to do it for the first time. I usually can be found studying throughout the day. I work a small gym job in the mornings for an hour, coach on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 till 8PM and then I work longer nights on Fridays and Saturdays at a restaurant (typically starting at 5PM and finishing around 10PM). I typically stay at people's houses or drop-in (depending on your need). In my 6 years of experience, I have house-sat/pet-sat/walked for over 17 different families, some, more than once and/or on a regular basis.
About: I have been a trusted, long and short-term pet sitter since I was about 14. I have cared for many animals from frogs to horses! I have a 16 year old dog who needs extra care and medication. My other two dogs each had six puppies (12 at a time!). I learned to help deliver the puppies and ensure a speedy recovery for the mom. Many friends have entrusted me to give their dogs exercise, companionship, schedules feedings, and baths while they were out of town or on long work shifts! I have a pretty open schedule, since taking the quarter off of school. I am flexible and understanding with last minute changes and will make your pet(s) a priority! I have three dogs and three cats at home with a fenced yard. Along with individual diets, one of my fur babies gets medicated regularly due to his old age.
About: Since I was in elementary school I’ve taken care of my neighbors and family pets! I have been known to be loved by every animal I’ve had or been around! From all ages of pets I’ve given exceptional care to all! I am able to help wherever I am needed! I help as a part time job when I am not taking care of patients in our Urgent care clinic! I’m usually always in mom mode with any pet as I’m watching them, keeping them entertained, feeding them yummy healthy snacks and lots of attention!
About: With a lifelong love for animals that’s evolved from caring for barn animals to pampering my three young, spoiled cats today. Your pets well-being and happiness will always be my top priority. I’m currently a full-time student with a hybrid schedule so most things I can do from home or my laptop. This give me more flexibility throughout the week. I can be available periodically through the day, mornings and afternoon work the best. However I can do overnight care. I prefer clients home if possible. I would do in-home but currently live in an apartment with limited space and three cats and very little backyard.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
