About: I've been caring for animals my entire life, I started working at a dog kennel when I was 14 then I moved to a daycare and now I work at a rescue. I've had lots of experience in the animal care fields, I've done bathing, nail trims, administered medication, light training, and just all around pup exercise! I've cared for senior pets as well as pups around 5-6 months. Animals are my passion and I treat each one with the respect and care they need to feel safe and comfortable while in my care. Im currently working, but I've been pet sitting for years and wanted to expand now that I have more availability. I'm home from 3:30 on and on Wednesdays and Thursdays all day. My doggies at home run and romp around during the day while I'm at work, I come home on lunch to let them all out to potty and play for a bit and then after work it's non stop until bedtime! :) I have a fenced in backyard for your pup to run and play, also an unfenced front yard for those off leash friends! I have 4 dogs of my own 2 little and 2 big, to keep your furry friends company while they stay. I have numerous crates to use if needed to make your pup comfortable. Your dogs will become my family during their stay here! I send pictures and updates of your pups during their stay, to make you feel more comfortable and see what your furry pal is up too! Having many dogs makes it hard for company but, I come right to you once you arrive, or can sometimes offer pick-up service.
“Shayla has been a huge help too me with my sweet puppy Remi she is absolutely amazing ! Always on time never canceled on me and treated my dog as her own !!! I will miss her and keep her in mind since my puppy is now going to day care to meet new friends and burn off some of her energy!! 🐶♥️”

About: I was a zookeeper for 17 years and have had my own pets for 20+ years. I have experience with animal behavior, puppies, older dogs, cats, and everything in between I am seasonally employed and looking to fill some gaps during the off season. I have my own family obligations, so the flexibility of Rover works well for me. I have a large private yard with lots of woods on a dead end road. I'm happy being outside and used to working in all types of weather.
About: Not only have I taken care of my family’s pets, but I also have experience working in a dog daycare, boarding and grooming facility that allowed me to learn so much more about the care of animals. I am a college student who currently works part-time, and am getting my degree virtually which gives me enough time to care for your furry friends on the side! While caring for your pets I will give them my full attention. I love to update owners while their pets are in my care to show how their pet is doing. I also am a very active person so your animals will be able to get the exercise they need.
About: I’ve always been the “dog person” in every friend group — the one who ends up on the floor making friends with the pup before saying hi to the humans. I worked at a busy doggy daycare in Boston, caring for every kind of dog you can imagine — from sassy little Chihuahuas to giant, goofy Great Danes. That experience taught me how to handle all temperaments and energy levels, and how to make each dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m super patient, calm, and in tune with what each pup needs — whether that’s a long walk to burn off zoomies, a game of fetch, or just some cozy couch time. I’ve helped with puppy training (crate, potty, and leash manners) and I have a soft spot for senior dogs who need a little extra TLC. You’ll get plenty of photo updates, honest check-ins, and one very happy dog when you get home. My goal is always the same: to make your pup feel safe, loved, and totally spoiled while you’re away. ❤️ I have a very flexible schedule to check in on pups and give walks/drop in care. I am available every other weekend for overnights and can offer extra care in-home for repeat clients who's dogs are friendly with other dogs and kiddos. When I’m caring for someone’s dog, safety and comfort always come first. I take time to learn each pup’s routine, triggers, and preferences so I can keep things calm and predictable — whether that means sticking to their walking routes, following special feeding or medication instructions to the letter. I’m big on communication and always keep pet parents updated with messages and photos so they never have to wonder how things are going. I double-check gates, leashes, and doors every time, and I never let dogs off leash unless we’re in a secure, fenced area. In your home, I treat the space with the same respect I’d expect in mine — clean, reliable, and mindful of your pup’s comfort and boundaries. My goal is always to make your dog feel safe, loved, and totally at ease while you’re away. 🐾
About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I started volunteering at a dog rescue last year and currently work there. I am around animals 24/7 and love caring for them! I am currently working part time as a house cleaner! I am also in college in but go online so I will have plenty of time to walk and care for pets! I always make sure pets have their necessities. I also will always clean up after them. I always put their safety first and make sure they are also having fun!

About: As a dog mom and foster dog mom I know how important peace of mind and safety are for a parent while you’re away, even just to work for the day. I’ve been a dog sitter for a long time, some work on Rover and some for friends and family. You’ll notice a gap in my review dates - I took a break from Rover while we personally had three dogs, one that wasn’t strange dog friendly. We also moved out of state, bought / built a home, and got married. All of that to say, I’m happy to provide more recent references for you to check so you feel super warm and fuzzy that I’m the good animal loving human I claim to be :) I’ve had the privilege of loving and unfortunately saying good bye to two senior dogs so I know the extra level of compassion they need - an extra potty break, a slow easy walk, meds / injections, or just a human shield from an excited younger dog sibling. I’ve also successfully raised and trained a few puppies to be those respectful younger siblings and know what challenges come from that stage of life. I’m enjoying a season of wonderful flexibility and want to share that with your furry family members and ease your stress. My two dogs love playing with other dogs, always slow intros and vetting first or separate play is always an option too. Our backyard is expansive and a good size of the land is fenced in by 48” high plastic vinyl fence. Since my husband and I are active fosters, much of our home is gated to keep snoots out of places they could find trouble. We also have the space and ability to separate dogs (crated or uncrated) for strategic down time, rest due to injury healing, or just to de-stimulate before returning to the fun. Licky puzzles are an optional add on for calming rest as is a bath if your furry friend needs to be tidied up prior to your return home! Multiple furry friends are welcome! Rotation for safe play is always done when necessary if furry friends from a couple families are together. Can't wait to hear from you and meet you furry family members! I own two businesses that I work from home so I have complete flexibility with my schedule which is wonderful! I’m grateful to be able to care for your pup while you’re not available so you come home to a tired happy dog! Dogs are always cared for in a fear free, positive reinforcement only manner. As a dog mom to two allergy girls - food sensitivity and boundaries are highly respected. Due to our partnership with a local rescue and the foster work we get to do, much of the house is gated to keep snoots safely out of places they could find trouble. Additionally, I have the ability and space to crate or non-crate separate pups who may need a break, rest to not overdue if recovering from injury, or simply get overstimulated.
About: When I’m not boarding, walking, or doing doggy daycare I’m hanging out with my kiddos. Occasionally I also foster puppies at 8 weeks old and start the potty training process and prepare them to go to their furever home. Does your dogs like to sleep on the couch? Perfect! I do too! Do they prefer to sleep in bed with you at night? Not a problem, come on in! Does your dog need daily walks? You got it! I live on a quiet road off the beaten path. I tend to treat all animals with the respect and love I give my children and I teach my children the same morals. Pets aren’t just pets in my eyes, each dog has needs they need to have met and it’s my job to make that happen when they are in my care. During my high school years I spent my time after school volunteering at the local veterinary clinic assisting the vet techs preform their daily tasks. Growing up I worked on a dairy farm. I know how to administer medications, potty train, bathe, and trim nails. I’m a stay at home mom during the week so I am always home to give my furbabies all the love and attention they want. When I’m home and need to leave your pups will tag along with me through my daily routine and hangout with me. Or if they’d prefer to relax at home and have free range they can! I try to keep a potty and feeding schedule the same as when they are with you. I live in a lake house so if your pups love to swim then this is the place to be! I also have a decent size yard (unfenced) for playing. My two dogs will keep your furbaby company in a doggy sense. My children will also play with your babies so they will definitely have a lot of attention. Inside my house is baby proof so it is also dog proof. Do you want to FaceTime your dog while they are with me? Not a problem, call whenever. I will send pictures and updates throughout the day for you so you know they are okay. Your pets truly are treated like family in my care.
About: I've had a dog all my life. I worked at K9 Kaos for almost 3 years and I worked at Pope Memorial Humane Society for about a year. I absolutely love dogs and would love to care for your furry friends!!! I'm available all week for overnight house-sitting. I can do a meet or walk anytime of the week after 8am but on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday it will have to be before 11am. I work 4 days of 10 hour shifts, meaning I work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12:00pm-10:30pm. I do not work Wednesday's and am free to do a meet or walk anytime between 8am-7pm. I will not be able to have pets at my house. I have a dog, a cat and a snake already. Sorry for the inconvience.
About: Iv had pets my whole life and have pet sat for friends and family many times in the past. I live on the second floor so it might be hard for senior dogs unless they don’t mind being carried, I’m relatively strong so heavier pets won’t be a problem, I can provide puppy pads for puppies and have a large litter box that is sanitized between uses. I am not currently working so I have all the extra time in the world, My children are at school for 8 hours of the day so if your pet(s) prefer no kids the morning/afternoon would be best for you, they’re older and calm kids who love pets so if your pet is ok with kids they’ll get along great. I have an unfenced yard but not many neighbors, I have a fenced in balcony and lots of trails for walking dogs if that’s what they would like to do.
“Willow is a little hesitant with new people but Patrick took the time to gain her trust. I appreciate the photos and updates after each visit and he was on board with all of willows needs!”
