“Donna & Kim just adored and loved our pup while we were away, making sure to provide us with updates regularly. It made our trip away from home so much easier. They gave us complete peace of mind. Would definitely use them as sitters again :)”

“Courtney was wonderful! She was prompt and communicative. She was very considerate of my requests including Blue's hurt toe- so she took Blue on a shorter gentle walk and then gave her some fun time in the yard. I will definitely reach out to Courtney again!”

“Clarke is a wonderful dog walker: responsible, communicative, dependable, and wonderful with our little dog. She fed, watered, and walked Bitty without fail, which completely put my mind at ease. Since she goes away to college, she’s not always in Michigan, but I’ll want her to help care for Bitty wheboshe has time.”
About: I’ve done a lot of pet care in my life. Whether it range from caring for my own cats to caring for others dogs. I’ve done a lot of dog sitting over the years, whether it be family, friends, or otherwise. Most of my time dog sitting has been with larger breeds such as huskies and labs, however I am comfortable with small dogs as well. I have performed a range of tasks, from common ones such as walking and feeding. To more uncommon ones such as administering oral pill medication. Currently pet care fits into every and any day of my daily and weekly routine. At this moment in time I am available all days of the week. Ad as long as it’s not soemthing before dawn, I am available most hours of the day. When it comes to things like dog walking. Providing safety and care is through using the proper leash for the dogs in the hosue and taking them on the required time/distance of walks. As well as giving them time to warm up to me as not to cause fear from an unknown individual. When my comes to things such as house sitting. Again, properly introducing myself to the pet. And fulfilling all tasks required for the pets healthy life style to continue. Also not touching anything in the house that is outside of the scope of what it allowed to give the pet what they need

Ever since I was 3 years old, I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and developed a strong love and understanding for pet care. Over the past year, I’ve also gained experience caring for a senior dog, including providing patience, attention, and daily support for their specific needs. In addition, I enjoy working with puppies and have experience teaching basic training and new tricks. I treat every pet like family and always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I am currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of time to care for your pets and provide them with the attention they deserve. I am available on both weekends and weekdays, with the most flexibility in the mornings. I also have availability during some afternoons and evenings, allowing me to accommodate a variety of schedules and pet care needs. I always make sure pets are in a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment, whether in my home or a client’s home. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I pay close attention to pets at all times to ensure their safety and well-being, and I make sure they receive plenty of love, exercise, and attention while in my care. I also keep spaces clean, secure, and pet-friendly so owners can feel confident that their pets are being cared for like family.

About: I have dropped in for large dog care. I have stayed in a house watching 3 small dogs. I personally had a lab growing up. I have taken care of a large dog and small dog and stayed at their home. I personally have a cat and I love all animals. “Her first time out with my girl. It was very hot that day, and her attention and concerns with Marlowe becoming over heated was much appreciated! She's very professional and prompt with great communication!”

About: When I’m not boarding, walking, or doing doggy daycare I’m hanging out with my kiddos. Occasionally I also foster puppies at 8 weeks old and start the potty training process and prepare them to go to their furever home. Does your dogs like to sleep on the couch? Perfect! I do too! Do they prefer to sleep in bed with you at night? Not a problem, come on in! Does your dog need daily walks? You got it! I live on a quiet road off the beaten path. I tend to treat all animals with the respect and love I give my children and I teach my children the same morals. Pets aren’t just pets in my eyes, each dog has needs they need to have met and it’s my job to make that happen when they are in my care. During my high school years I spent my time after school volunteering at the local veterinary clinic assisting the vet techs preform their daily tasks. Growing up I worked on a dairy farm. I know how to administer medications, potty train, bathe, and trim nails. I’m a stay at home mom during the week so I am always home to give my furbabies all the love and attention they want. When I’m home and need to leave your pups will tag along with me through my daily routine and hangout with me. Or if they’d prefer to relax at home and have free range they can! I try to keep a potty and feeding schedule the same as when they are with you. I live in a lake house so if your pups love to swim then this is the place to be! I also have a decent size yard (unfenced) for playing. My two dogs will keep your furbaby company in a doggy sense. My children will also play with your babies so they will definitely have a lot of attention. Inside my house is baby proof so it is also dog proof. Do you want to FaceTime your dog while they are with me? Not a problem, call whenever. I will send pictures and updates throughout the day for you so you know they are okay. Your pets truly are treated like family in my care.
About: I have been taking care of dogs for a long time, from taking care of my own two dogs to helping out my friends and there pets. After that I am free the rest of the afternoon and evenings. On weekends I am generally free all day. In a clients home I will pay close attention to detail and what the client is expecting and trusting me with. I will respect the clients home and attend to their pets needs!
About: Pet sitter with 10 years experience. 5 years veterinary experience as well as training and grooming experience. I've never had a job that didn't involve animals and I would never change that. Whether your furry friend needs a quick 30-minute walk or an all-day adventure, I've got you covered! Mine and my fiancé's life revolves around our own 2 dogs and they are spoiled rotten. They're the reason I get up in the morning, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. From 6 am wake-up calls for puppy cuddles to 10 pm bedtime stories (yes, you read that right - my dogs love a good bedtime story!), our fur babies are the center of our universe. Some fun facts about me are I played competitive travel softball for 13 years - I'm talking national championships, folks! And in my free time, when not hiking with my own dogs or yours, I love to get creative with pottery. It's my go-to stress-reliever, and I hope to open my own studio one day. But enough about me - let's talk about your furry friend! What are their favorite toys, treats, and activities!! Tell me everything, and let's get this paw-some adventure started! I’m currently working full time as a pet sitter!! So if you need someone reliable and consistent please feel free to reach out! Boarding pups will also get multiple 15-30 min walks a day and have full access to my home. I have 2 pups who are 2 different activity levels so someone will always have a friend. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
