“Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. Shanna has been very reassuring and understanding. throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend her.”

About: I’m a dedicated 21 year old dog lover who currently cares for two rescued female puppies. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I currently work part-time as a delivery driver, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to stay close to home throughout the day. Because of that, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention. I care for my own two young dogs every day, so pet care is already a major part of my routine. When I'm not working, I spend time walking, training, playing with, and caring for them. My flexible schedule allows me to adjust my day around the needs of the pets in my care and make sure they receive the attention, supervision, and affection they deserve. Safety is my top priority when caring for pets. In my home, dogs have access to a large, securely fenced yard where they can play, exercise, and explore safely under supervision. I also have a large crate available for dogs who are crate-trained or need a quiet place to relax. If a dog needs their own space, I can separate them using a dog gate and provide a comfortable area in my home where they can rest safely. I always monitor interactions between pets and make sure each dog is comfortable and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions. I believe consistency helps pets feel secure and comfortable while their owners are away. My goal is to provide a safe, calm, and caring environment where every pet feels at home.

About: I currently have a golden retriever puppy, so I’m very used to the daily routine of walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and lots of attention and patience. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone trustworthy who will care for them like they’re at home. I have a very flexible schedule and am often home for extended periods of time. I am fully available on weekends and offer overnight stays Friday–Sunday, as well as daytime care. I am happy to work with different schedules and provide reliable, attentive care for your pets. I have a fenced yard with plenty of space for dogs to safely play and explore. Pets are welcome to free roam the house, relax on the furniture, play, and feel comfortable like they’re at home. I also have a crate available if needed for your pet’s routine or comfort. I currently have a golden retriever puppy who is very friendly and full of energy, especially when it comes to walks and playtime. He also does well reading other dogs’ behavior and gives them space if they are not interested in playing. My goal is always to provide a safe, loving, and low-stress environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for.
