My puppy was well taken care of with Greta. She updated with me a few photos and a video. He was very content and relaxed when I picked him up. I will for sure be booking again in the future! Thanks again for being so good to him!

After my husky's first stay with Jamie, I can say we will definitely use her services again! Bailey loved spending time at her house. The fenced yard was perfect, and Jamie provided lots of love and connectedness. Thank you, Jamie!

About: I have a considerable amount of experience working with dogs on the personal and professional level. Being a dog groomer for over ten years has given me the opportunity to get accustomed to all different breeds and ages of dogs. I've worked with everything from five pounds on up. I have also owned and trained three dogs of my own. I enjoy being active with my dogs. We've done obedience classes, agility, dock diving, and fly ball together, as well as hiking trails or just walking around the neighborhood. I would love the opportunity to get to know your dog. At this time, I only offer day visits in my home. I would be able to provide full grooming services for dogs up to 50 pounds. Rates starting at $25. I do require that you sign a pet care agreement form for day visits and a grooming consent form if you would like your dog groomed. I have a fenced in yard where your dog can explore freely, supervised of course. During the day your dog would have freedom to roam around the house. I do require that your dogs be up to date on their rabies vaccination (need to show proof) and on a flea preventative. I will not book without doing a meet and greet first. We need to make sure this is the best possible environment for your dog and for mine. I am certified in dog first aid and CPR should a situation arise. If I have to leave the house for any unforeseen reason your dog will be crated. This is for your and my dog's safety.

Tristan is great with my dog and always patient when I’m a little late dropping off or picking up. (So being patient with me might be more of a challenge than being patient with my puppy). I highly recommend him for daycare or overnight. While I already had an obedience trainer before bringing my dog for daycare, I can tell that he’d be a really good trainer, too.

About: Both Matt and I have taken care of animals since we were young for friends &family. We have two frenchies both are two years old ( please keep in mind when they first meet a new dog they get very excited, can have a lot of energy and LOVE to play) We have also had experience with numerous breeds. Your fur baby will have lots of fun and love in our home. Having two frenchies, we know how high maintenance some dogs can be, that’s why it’s important to us to provide the best experience for you and your fur baby. During Monday-Friday I work 8-5. However, Matt does work from home so will be able to give your fur baby all the love and attention!( if Matt does have to step out it’s typically no longer than 2 hours but not often ) If you have any questions regarding our schedule, please feel free to reach out. If for some reason Matt does have to leave for more than a couple hours, we will block that day off as we do not believe in leaving fur babies alone for long periods. We are homebodies on the weekends as well. So someone will always be with your fur baby. We will make sure your fur baby gets plenty of walks and outside time. We live in a nice/quiet neighborhood. When the weather is nice, our frenchies love to sun bathe, play fetch, we also set up their splash pad, so we spend lots of time outside. We do allow dogs on our bed and furniture( if you allow it) we will not crate your dog unless we do have to step out ( which again is not often). During the night, we will not crate unless you prefer them in a crate. Please let us know if there is any special request and we can accommodate. We do ask for a meet n greet for any boarding to make sure your dogs and our two frenchies get along. Your fur baby’s safety and comfortability will always be our priority as well as our babies. We know how it feels leaving your fur baby and you might get anxious so we will make sure to send a daily update. *Please note we are happy to accommodate large dogs, they MUST get along with little dogs. We do only accept one large dog at a time. Please be sure to look at our pics as we do have a short fence, if your dog is known for jumping we may have to utilize a leash* **DROP OFFS/PICK UP- Please do not show up early without talking to us prior, If you are going to be late, please let us know asap, we operate around your guys times selected and scheduling other bookings/meet n greets around drop off and pick up ***

I’m so happy I found Diane and Grimm to care for my little Chihuahua! They have a large lovely back yard with a secure chain link fence, a covered patio and a huge shade tree. Since Diane works from home, she’s able to give each pup lots of individualized attention. They only accept one dog at a time, though, so it’s good to book well in advance.

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and have been taken care of dogs for 2. I have a husky at home and a yorkie. Also have a cat and bearded dragon! I’m currently a graduate student working from home. That means I have a lot of flexibility and time to fill! Taking care of your pet will mean the world to me! I have a fenced yard so they have plenty of space to run around. I have a husky that is about 6 years old, a 2 year old Yorkie, and a 3 year old cat that roam around the house. Although it will be very easy to keep them separate if needed!h

I'm SO thankful to Lynda for watching my big, anxious boy! I was in town camping at bay City with my dog and friends and realized the weather was far too hot for him to be outside all day so I found Lynda last minute to take Atlas during the day when it was the hottest and she accomadated my last minute request! My Atlas can be skiddish and anxious easily and he ended up having a fantastic time I was so pleased and it was such a weight off my shoulders to know he was well taken care of! She sent pictures, videos and updates the whole time. Highly recommend!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 109 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Millington. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Millington commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 109 sitters in Millington, 94% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
