“Stephanie was beyond amazing -- every day she was on-time or early, spent tons of time loving my kitties, and went out of her way to clean even when not asked to so that when we came home from a long trip, it wouldn't be stressful. Will be rebooking with her asap, she made traveling so easy for us.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 25 years and have experience with both cats and dogs of all ages and personalities. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, cleaning, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and treat every home and pet with respect. I also provide regular updates so you always know how your pets are doing. I have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-in visits throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I can work around your pet’s routine to keep things consistent and stress-free. I’m available on weekends and can often accommodate last-minute requests. I care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable and secure. I also have a fenced-in yard for safe, supervised outdoor time if needed for dogs. During each visit, I make sure food and water are fresh, litter boxes or potty breaks are handled, and your pet gets attention based on their personality. I follow all care instructions closely, keep your home secure, and provide regular updates so you can feel confident while you’re away.

“Margaret and Travis were absolutely incredible cat sitters! We were able to enjoy our vacation with zero worries thanks to their reliability, constant communication, and photos and videos they sent us. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our cats were comfortable and happy — we could tell our babies were in the best hands. We will 100% be booking with them again and highly recommend them to any pet owner looking for trustworthy, caring sitters!”

“Abbi did wonderful with our reluctant elderly dog and went above and beyond for a drop in visit, taking her for a walk and sitting with her for a while as well. She is very responsive and professional!”

“Autumn was truly the best!! I can’t thank her enough. It’s never easy leaving your fur babies at home while your away but Autumn put my mind at ease. She was very reliable, quick to respond, and treated my pets like they were her own. We would be happy to have her again💛🐾🐶🐱”

“Vivien did an awesome job working with my cat. He's not always the friendly but Vivien was calm and friendly and made sure he received his inhaler and got some socialization time.”

About: Hi! I’m Katy. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been an animal lover. I always brought the cats home from school with me and cared for my grandpa’s chickens as a kid. I have 6+ years experience of working in a vet ward caring for others animals. Our home knows no shortage of love as we have 14 cats, 10 chickens, and our dog. When you choose me, you can be certain you’ve chosen dependable, caring, protective, and proactive. I will always have your fur baby’s best interest in mind and will never hesitate to reach out if needed. I’m currently a home maker who spends most of her free time caring for her own animals. I’ve got more than enough love to share with your fur baby as well! When you hire me, you can expect quality care. Your dog/s will have plenty of time to stretch their legs. All animals will have a fresh, clean water and food bowl, and a clean space. You can expect the litter box to be cleaned and topped with fresh litter, scooped litter to be disposed of, and the floor around the litter box to be swept up.
“This is the second time Evie has watched Meatball and we would definitely book again. He seemed to still trust her after the two years between bookings and was happy and cozy when I got home. Thanks Evie!”

“Thank you Chloe for the early morning visit! Chloe also came over to get my key and meet the cats before the official visit. There were a couple last minute changes to their care, so I appreciated the flexibility!”

About: I had pets my whole life growing up (cats and dogs at the same time), currently haven’t a cat, and watch my families pets when they are out of town. I am reliable and can handle any situation that comes up. I work full time but I am able to work from home half the week so this allows me to be flexible with my pet sitting. I have a huge fenced in back yard, I treat every animal like my own as well. Additionally, I always respect other people’s homes.
“This was our first time using Suzanne and the Rover app. I was really pleased with how things went. Getting the daily feedback and pictures helped me relax and not worry about my cats while on vacation! One of my scaredy cats even started to warm up to her! We will use her again!”

About: I have had dogs as a family pet since 2008. Currently have 2 dogs who are very loved and spoiled to death 😊 I started off dog sitting for a family member in 2019 with a senior dog, and then a puppy a couple years later. I have also house/pet sit for a family friend for the past few years as well. They have 4 dogs (ranging from 15 lbs to 100+ lbs) and 3 cats. I have a good rapport with both groups and can provide references if needed! I also have experience with sitting a 1 cat household as well for one of my friends. In my household, my sisters and I have potty-trained and skill-trained every one of our family pets (we have had 4 now). I have experience with giving pets medications as they need following the owner’s specific instructions. Lastly, I have walked dogs of all kinds of sizes (miniature pinscher all the way to a Great Pyrenees). I look forward to helping you with your pet needs!! I’m currently working full time Monday-Friday from 10am-7pm. I work at a pretty lenient place that gives me lunch breaks up to an hour and a half long, so in the past if a pet I have watched needs a potty break midday, I can go back on my lunch break to do so. I have availability after getting off from this job as well, so I can accommodate to late nights as well. I don’t work weekends there so I have pretty much open availability every weekend. 😊 I currently live at home with my parents and sisters, so I do not offer pet sitting at my home at this time. I have pet sat for people in different home styles (apartment, single-level home with small yard, two-story home with big yard). I have always followed every owner’s instructions and rules to a T. Every owner has loved my care with their pets and continues to put their trust in me to this day. I have several references that I can provide if needed!
“Emily was very patient when I was scatterbrained and traveling. My puppo & kitty were well taken care of, and I'll h hire her again for sure in the future. Emily is fantastic!”

I am a nurse (for humans) so dont worry about injections or medicines! I have all the time in the world to come play with your pups/cats as you need! I am almost always available and can take last minute calls if I'm in town. I can adapt to how you do things in your home! Whatever you need will be done. I can take your pups out for a walk and play after or take them to the park. Whatever your goals are.
About: I’m a friendly, trustworthy, and easygoing person who genuinely loves animals of all kinds. I provide plenty of love, attention, exercise, and quality care while owners are away, treating every pet like they’re my own and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I work part time, which gives me a flexible schedule to provide reliable pet care throughout the week as I work for my parents. I’m available for morning and evening drop in visits, feeding, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of love and attention. I do my best to accommodate each pet owner’s schedule, making sure your pets stay happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 267 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Millbury. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Millbury. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
