Although I had been happy with other cat sitters that I’ve worked with on Rover, I decided to give Karisa a chance, because she was more affordable. Boy, am I so glad that I did. Karisa bonded with our kitties, Klondike and Sprite, better than anyone I’ve ever worked with before. Sprite, in particular, is very skittish and will hide from pet sitters, but, miraculously, she was happy to let Karisa and her children hold her during visits. Klondike likewise got tons of attention and affection, as evidenced by the many photos Karisa sent. Karisa also took care of watering my many orchids while we were away. Plus, when I forgot to suspend our shipment of frozen meals from The Farmer’s Dog while we were away, Karisa was a lifesaver! Not only did she keep an eye out for the package, but when it arrived, she brought it in out of the hot sun, unpacked it, and stored everything neatly in the freezer for us. I will most definitely be booking her again in the future.”

I’ve been caring for animals since I was 4 and with my pursuing degree in animals science I hope to make a difference I only work weekends allowing me to care and play with your baby for long periods of times! I am Also in college with lots of night classes so it’s perfect for early morning potty, training and play routines as well as overnight visits monitoring and potty breaks I have spare crates and a sweet puppy myself with plenty of toys. I also go to public parks alot to help with enrichment. If needed I’m able to crate the babies in case of emergency as well as I have doggy seat belts for car rides!

About: Hello! I have had experience caring for dogs for the past 12 years and love working with animals. With all of the amazing parks that Fort Wayne has to offer, a yard is no longer necessary as animals are able to get great exercise all around the city. I can't wait to work with and get to know your pets! I am available for walking during the day as well as overnight watching. I am easy to work with and very communicative. I raised my own dog starting twelve years ago as well as dog-sitting for other families both short term and long term. I am very excited to get to play with the animals and ensure they are cared for when you are not around. I’m currently working from home so I am very flexible when it comes to taking care of pets. With a remote job I am able to provide great care with a routine. I have an unfenced yard, but my dog is currently able to get great exercise through a 25 foot extended leash that is attached to the ground. I also take my dog for walks around my neighborhood daily.
