About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and currently have three dogs of my own—a 10-year-old Husky, a 4-year-old Malamute, and a 5-year-old Golden Retriever. Caring for three large dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs has given me plenty of hands-on experience with walking, exercise, feeding, routines, and lots of attention. I’m especially comfortable handling larger, energetic breeds and understand that every dog has their own personality and pace. Whether your dog loves a long walk or just needs some fresh air and companionship, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for your pets. I’m available throughout the week for walks and drop-in visits, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Since I care for three dogs of my own every day, pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I’m also happy to work with your dog’s normal schedule whenever possible. I’m a stay-at-home dad, proud dog dad to three wonderful dogs, and a lifelong animal lover! My Husky, Malamute, and Golden Retriever are a huge part of my family, and caring for them has taught me just how much love, patience, and attention every dog deserves. Being a stay-at-home dad has given me the opportunity to spend more time doing what I love, and I’m excited to make Rover a part of my everyday life. About: I've spent years helping care for many animals. As a child I helped care for our family dog until we got another, then another, then another. By the time I was a teen I was helping my family out on our property to care for our three dogs, our many cats, our chickens, ducks, goats and Llama. I also had neighbors whose home I would frequently visit to help feed and care for their goats. I believe in animal rights. When I am working for you, I am not only here to make money but to apply my knowledge and the knowledge you share with me to serve the well being and needs of your furry friend. I will always stay focused and attentive on showing your pet the love, attention and respect that they deserve :) At the moment I make money through gigs and seasonal jobs. I love to live every day and every week doing something new with as much freedom as I can afford. My schedule is very open giving me lots of time for weekend and weekday bookings. I can do anything asked of me. If I haven't done something before it will not be difficult for me to learn if instructed. I love animals. I love working with them, caring for them and helping them and their owners feel comfortable and happy with the services I provide. I can feed them, take them on walks, play with them, let them rest, crate them when asked or necessary, give them meds. Anything you need.

About: I live in Salem but drive up to Portland several times a week. So If you live in the Portland or Salem area or anywhere in between, I am happy to help you with your pet sitting needs. I grew up with cats, dogs, and chickens. My earliest pet care was at the age of 10 taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats while they were gone. In my adult life, I've had one cat and 4 dogs. My current dog is a Standard Poodle named Percy. He's a huge love! I know your pets are your heart, too. I strive to give your pets my best love and care while you're gone, just like I would want someone to give Percy! I currently work from home, so I can pop in or stay over easily. I would hope that your pet is able to walk with Percy, because he would hate to be left out of the fun. Each pet is unique and will be respected. Grouchy kitty under the bed?? I’ll say hello extra sweet and then leave them be. Tigger-like active puppy? Let’s throw some balls in the yard! The pet that thinks my lap is theirs? Good snuggles and lots of sweet talk, for sure! About: I've taken care of pets basically my whole life, especially cats, and I've also had a dog for a couple years. I'm always the first person my friends and family call when they need help with their pets. I stay well read on what's good for animals, from training to helping with anxiety, and I'm always willing to go the extra mile to make sure a pet is happy. They're living creatures who deserve just as much happiness as we do. In terms of training, I've helped a cat retrain to use the litter box after it regressed due to anxiety, working through the root cause rather than just the behavior itself. I've also reduced aggression in animals through consistent training. I'm willing to stick with things for a long time and stay consistent, especially when it's for the betterment of the animal. My life is quite flexible, so pet care fits easily into my routine. I prefer jobs where I'm able to stay in charge of how the work gets done, since that's when I feel like I can give my best contribution. That flexibility means I can adjust to a pet's needs rather than squeezing them into a rigid schedule. When I'm caring for a pet in their own environment, I make sure to respect their space and routine completely, from where they're allowed to go to how they're used to being handled. I pay close attention to safety details like doors, gates, and anything that could be harmful to them, and I adapt to whatever setup the home already has in place.
