“My two boys loved their visit from Ashley! She was very processing when she came to meet the dogs and she did a very good job with their visit and was very punctual for the appoint. Would definitely recommend her and use her again ?”
“Amy was absolutely fantastic with my three cats while we were away for over a week. She was always on time, sent great pictures, was communicative, played with them each visit and really knew their personalities a few days in! I made a mistake with my dates and realized I would be back the day after I intended and Amy was exceptionally flexible with date changes and took care of my babies an extra day, which I’m so grateful for. We came home to three well fed, taken care of, happy and playful cats! Highly recommend Amy to take care of your furry babies!”

About: What sets me apart is my experience caring for dogs of different personalities and needs. I have three dogs of my own at home, so I am very comfortable with the responsibility and attention that comes with taking care of pets. I have also helped friends and family care for their dogs, which has given me experience with different routines, personalities, and energy levels. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and enjoy making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I treat every dog like they are my own and am happy to follow their specific routines and needs! I am currently a student-athlete on the Ashland University women’s soccer team while pursuing my MBA. My schedule is very open during the mornings and throughout most of the day since my soccer training is typically in the evenings. With games only about twice a week, I have plenty of flexibility throughout the week to care for pets. I’m also looking to be more active during the day when I’m not in class or at soccer, so spending time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy and fits naturally into my routine. I would love to use that extra time to give dogs attention, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away! I am currently only able to care for pets in their owner’s home, as I am unable to have dogs stay in my home. I am happy to come to your home and care for your pet in the environment they are most comfortable in. I will follow their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and giving them plenty of attention and companionship. I want both the pet and owner to feel comfortable and confident while they are away!
About: I have a pup of my own! I have worked at a boarding/daycare facility, feeding, letting out, and bathing dogs of all breeds and sizes, with the occasional cat, bunny, lizard, and even a parrot! I have also worked as a dog walker and sitter for a company in Kansas City, the best job i've ever had, but unfortunately had to move back home to Montana. My schedule included 30 minute walks, driving pups to dog parks and watching them play, staying overnight at clients' houses to care for their dogs (and sometimes cats) while they were away, and falling in love with all the pups that I was working with! I am currently available anytime I am needed! I'm very flexible and will be able to accommodate your requests, as I would like this to be a full time job!! I will treat your pet as if they were my own, lots of love and affection, as well as the high pitched voice they all love so much! I can follow your requests for their care, send lots of pictures and pupdates, and for walks, I will let you know when I arrive, and I have an app that shows where we walked and the exact time that I spent with your pup that I will screenshot and send to you at the end with the pupdate! My pupdates usually include whether they went potty or not, some little anecdotes from our time together, and lots of cute emojis🐾
About: A Lifelong Love of Animals & Care You Can Trust 🐾❤️ Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I was involved in 4-H and had four dogs at different stages of my life, along with two hamsters, a rabbit, and fish. These experiences helped nurture my love for animals and my appreciation for the care, patience, and attention they deserve. Over the years, I’ve also cared for friends’ and family members’ pets, including dogs, cats, iguanas, chameleons, fish, and rabbits. In addition, I’ve volunteered at two horse barns, which gave me opportunities to spend time caring for and working around horses. Due to allergies within my household, I’m unable to have pets of my own right now. While I completely understand the need to keep my home pet-free, I miss having animals in my daily life. Pet sitting allows me to continue doing something I truly love while helping other pet parents feel confident that their beloved companions are in caring, dependable hands. I know pets are family, and I will treat yours with the same love, patience, and respect I would want for my own. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routines, respect their individual personalities, and make sure they receive attentive care, companionship, and plenty of affection. I may not be able to have a pet of my own right now, but I have a lifetime of love to share with yours! 🐶🐱🐰 Pet Care That Fits Your Schedule—and Mine! 🐾 As a busy mom of school-aged children, I understand the importance of balancing family life while making time for the things I love. Managing a household of six has taught me to be organized, dependable, and flexible. Pet care is a wonderful fit for my lifestyle because it allows me to share my love for animals while working around my family’s schedule. My weekday mornings and afternoons are generally very open, making me available to provide attentive, reliable care when you need it most. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, feeding, or some extra companionship while you’re away, I’m happy to help! My evening and weekend availability is more limited due to family commitments, but I’m always happy to discuss scheduling and see if we’re a good fit. My goal is to make life a little easier for you while making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. ❤️🐶🐱G Respectful, Reliable Care in Your Pet’s Home: I understand that inviting someone into your home to care for your pets requires a great deal of trust. I take that responsibility seriously and approach every visit with respect, attention to detail, and clear communication. Having previously worked as a professional cleaner, I’m very comfortable entering and securing someone else’s home, respecting their belongings and personal space, and following specific instructions and expectations. I believe in establishing clear guidelines before each service so everyone feels comfortable and knows what to expect. I’m very detail-oriented and mindful of boundaries, both yours and your pet’s. I will follow your instructions carefully, respect your home and routines, and make sure doors are locked and your home is secure when I leave. My goal is to provide dependable, thoughtful pet care while giving you peace of mind that both your pets and your home are being treated with the utmost care and respect. Your trust is something I value, and I want you to feel confident every time you welcome me into your home.
“Lorie did a phenomenal job taking care of my 5 precious kitties while I was away. She is a beautiful soul with an exceptionally kind and sparkly personality. She was really diligent about arriving as arranged and making sure the cats were tended to. I always looked forward to seeing the updates after she visited and she did a fabulous job of providing me with lots of pictures of my furry sweethearts. She was also very accommodating when our plans changed unexpectedly and patient when we had issues with our security system. I hope she would come back again to pet sit for us if needed in the future! Thank you again for everything, Lorie. You are wonderful!”

About: I've had pets most of my life. I've cared for big dogs and little dogs. This includes potty training, walking, baths, ear cleaning, and nail trimming. I've also administered medications in pill, liquid, and shots. I've cared for puppies, middle aged, and seniors and know the unique needs at each life stage. I currently work full time, but my wife does not work, so we have lots of time to care for your pet. I am available almost all weekends. I have a full fenced in yard with a 4 foot chain link fence. The fence has been "small dog" proof to ensure no escapees. We have 10 dogs, but all are super friendly and get along well with others. We also have tons of toys, chew bones, and beds throughout the house.

About: About Me: Hi, I'm Arya Naga. I was born in India and moved to the United States in 2005. Through the hard work and dedication of my parents, I achieved my goals of becoming a permanent resident (enroute to becoming a US Citizen in few months), earning my education and building my passion into a business dedicated to dogs. I provide boarding, daycare, training, behavior modification, walking, exercise, and grooming with one simple motto: **Happiness, Wellness, and Safety of Every Pet Under My Care.** I work from home full-time, which allows me to provide constant supervision, individualized attention, structured exercise, enrichment activities, and regular potty breaks throughout the day. Every dog's care is customized based on age, energy level, temperament, health, and your specific instructions. I am currently signed up for my 3rd educational degree to finish pre DVM prerequisites in about 2-3 years, with the goal of getting into Cornell to pursue my DVM degree. I train my dogs regularly in obedience, tracking, agility and search and rescue. I am also a **NASAR Wilderness Air Scent Certified K9 Handler**, and I have experience working with dogs of many breeds, sizes, temperaments, and behavioral challenges. My Boarding Philosophy: Safety always comes first. Every dog is treated as an individual. I carefully evaluate each dog's temperament before introducing them to other dogs. While many dogs eventually enjoy supervised group play, I never force interactions simply because they're boarding together. If your dog prefers people over other dogs—or simply needs more personal space—they will receive plenty of one-on-one attention, walks, playtime, enrichment, and affection instead. What Your Dog Can Expect: * Constant supervision while boarding * Structured play, walks, fetch, and enrichment * Individual feeding and medication (if needed) * Fresh water and frequent potty breaks * Clean, sanitized environment * Comfortable individual crate for rest and overnight sleeping * Plenty of exercise balanced with appropriate rest Dogs are never left crated all day. Throughout the day they enjoy multiple outdoor breaks, exercise sessions, walks, and playtime before returning indoors to relax and recharge. Crate Policy: All boarding dogs have their own appropriately sized crate for meals, rest periods, and overnight sleeping. This helps maintain a safe, clean, and low-stress environment for every dog while preventing accidents, unwanted chewing, food stealing, marking, or conflicts between unfamiliar dogs. Crate training is also an important life skill that benefits dogs in veterinary care, travel, and training environments. Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean environment is one of my highest priorities. My home, crates, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized regularly using pet-safe cleaning products to provide a healthy environment for every guest. Feeding: I recommend owners bring their dog's regular food to avoid digestive upset. However, if needed, I can provide my own high-quality kibble for a reasonable additional fee, provided your dog has no known food sensitivities. What I Ask From Owners: To provide the best care possible, I ask that owners share: * Your dog's daily routine * Feeding and medication instructions * Behavioral history (both strengths and challenges) * Play style and exercise preferences * Any medical conditions or special needs The more I know about your dog, the better I can make their stay comfortable and enjoyable. My Commitment: My goal is for every dog to leave my home happy, healthy, safe, and excited to return. I take the trust you place in me seriously and will care for your dog as if they were one of my own. I also perform a wellness check during both drop-off and pickup to document your dog's condition and ensure transparency for everyone involved. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! As i work from home, i can attend the pets needs in a timely manner and ensure they are always well taken care of and are having a good time when boarded with me. They come out every 2-3 hrs and get walked or played hard for 30-40 mins each session and the loop repeats like from 6am/7am to midnight. I give personalized attention to an individual pup’s needs and strategize my approach accordingly. The pets are always provided with required amount of food, plenty of water, play and potty breaks between 7am to 1am.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
