About: There are very few times in my life that I haven’t owned a dog. I grew up with dogs and my husband and I currently own two dogs- big lovable knuckle heads who will love to meet your dog. We have a fenced in yard with plenty of opportunities for play time. We both currently work from home full time, so I am able to dedicate a lot of time and supervision to your dog! I have always had a family dog growing up. We have a 7 year old german shepherd and a 4 year old mastiff mix. Both dogs are very friendly and love to play. They are very open to visitors and new friends! Please feel free to contact me at any point if you have any questions. I work from home full time so I have the capability of full time supervision and frequent potty or outside breaks. I work a normal 8-5 job. My back yard is fully fenced in so no chance of escape. We also have a back door that leads directly to the back yard. I have two dogs of my own I care for so adding an additional dog doesn’t change much for me.

About: Hey future friends! I have grown up around and been caring for animals for most of my life. I spent several years volunteering with an animal rescue center where I got to work with horses, dogs, cats, and more. I have experience with special needs animals, medically and behaviorally. I also have lots of puppy/kitten experience, as well as senior dog care experience. My current dogs are 2 and 11, both rescues that we’ve had since puppies. I currently work part time with a very flexible schedule. I’m looking to fill the gaps in my schedule by spending time with some furry friends😉 I am available for drop in visits and walks most days of the week. Rest easy on your vacation, long day (or night!) at work, or whatever the case may be: I’m always here for you. I absolutely love dogs and animals. I've had dogs all my life; I am very comfortable with all the different breeds of dogs. Throughout my childhood, I usually had anywhere between 2 to 3 dogs at any given time; at this point in my life I have two pets of my own. My oldest dog is a 5 pound Yorkshire Terriers named Denim age 10+. My second dog is a 10 pound Maltese Poodle named Windsor age 3+. I have a lot of help and support from my boyfriend Michael when it comes to taking care of our pups, so expect a dynamic duo when it comes to your pets. I am currently enrolled in college and I am actively working on finishing my second Associates’ degree in Interior Design, graduation date Spring 2020. From there I plan on finishing my Bachelors in Fine Arts in Interior Architecture expected graduation date 2022. I am a very active person I go on long walks, hikes, jogs, and runs so your dog will be perfect company for me. We can go on leashed walks throughout Lake Thom-A-Lex Park or throughout my residential neighborhood. When staying at my house your dog will get plenty of tender, love, and care. They will have oodles of attention and fun. My goal is to tire them out so when it’s time to go home to you their ready for bed. I work from home so I will provide 24-hour supervision to your dog. I appreciate active communication and will provide regular updates and feedback on your pet. I welcome the same. I am a very responsible person, who is very reliable and understanding, I will accommodate the specific needs of both you and your dog. Working with Rover I have had the opportunity to care for an even greater variety of fur babies. I understand that dogs are part of your family and I would love to care for them as if they were part of my own. I have experience with dogs losing their sight and hearing.

About: I started taking care of the family dog a few years ago. With him, I administered medication in a positive way and helped train him. I am comfortable using a harness and a regular collar. I also helped train my senior dog on his reactivity with positive reinforcement. Currently, I am on summer break. I work as a teacher during the school year, so my availability for the next few months is open. At my apartment, my roommate’s dog I take out every 2-3 hours and I give him lots of cuddles. I keep an eye out for anything around me to make sure it is safe.

About: I have been a dog owner for most of my life, learning to care for animals at a young age. Pets really bring out the best in us, and it's important to me that you get regular updates and feel your pet pal is in great hands. From years of dog owning, dog sitting, and working at nature centers, I have experience with special needs pets and wildlife rehab, and am comfortable administering medications or handling dietary requirements. I am detail-oriented and sensitive, and try to respond to any animal where it is at in terms of attention and space; giving praise and keeping healthy boundaries. I have had a border collie mix, a miniature dachshund, and a flat-coated retriever (and a parrot, among other pets). Trips to the park or the bay for running and swimming were daily practice. Since my last dog passed, I'm taking some time, but being with other people's dogs is a nice substitute. Sorry, but I can’t do cats - I'd love to, but I'm allergic! I do have experience with other animals though and will consider caring for non-dog pet pals on a case by case basis. I currently work remotely and set my hours, so I have plenty of time to play with your pup. Just let me know what their needs are, and I will try to accommodate. I like to get to know the pets I am caring for so I can learn their quirks and preferences. According to whatever abilities and needs your dogs have, and whatever is safe and enjoyable for them, I like giving enrichment and exercise by playing games, taking dogs with me on hikes or swims, to dog-runs, or just on walks or adventures around town. If your dog plays a sport (like flyball), I would be happy to take them or keep up the training. I believe in positive reinforcement and I’m happy to work with you on any problem behaviors or training goals. I make sure to keep calm, positive energy. If I am pet sitting or home sitting, I care for any home I live in as if it were my own - I will alert you if there are any issues, and will leave it clean and welcoming.

I’m a nurse at my day job so I’m pretty savvy on medication administration, keeping my best pals fed and comfortable. Meeting needs of pet owners and their loved one. I’m a nurse at my day job, but I’m available for all weekend’s and holidays. For one time pet sitting, walks and play time, or vacation stays in home or house sitting.
