About: Your pet's well-being is my top priority. My extensive experience includes working at Wayside Waifs animal shelter when I was 18, followed by another shelter post-college, and then managing a pet store. This hands on background, combined with my experience from fostering over 60 animals, has given me a great understanding of diverse pet personalities and needs. I have a special place in my heart for senior pets and am confident in caring for animals with special needs, including oral medications and providing care for blind dogs. Rest assured, your dogs and cats will be well cared for with me. My schedule offers some flexibility, I work short shifts and I am able to accommodate visits throughout the day. If I cannot come at the exact time requested, I will provide a couple of alternative time slots in hopes that we can find something that works well for everyone. When I receive a request for a in home visit or dog walk, one of my first questions is "How would you like me to use this time with your pets?" I understand that each animal can have very different needs and wants! Do you have an energetic dog that needs a good long walk or time to play outside? Do you have any cats or dogs that need some extra time (and maybe treats!) to warm up to me? I want to give you and your pets the best and most comfortable experience possible. Additionally, I take several pictures during each visit to let you see how they're doing.

“Jennifer really helped me out in a last minute bind! She was so nice and easy to communicate with and I loved the pictures of the pups! I will definitely continue to use her! :)”

About: I have cared for dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities for over four years, including puppies, seniors, and pets with special needs. Growing up with three dogs and three cats, I developed a deep understanding of animal behavior and needs. I’m skilled in walking, feeding, bathing, administering medication, and providing enrichment activities to keep pets happy and healthy. My experience extends to both energetic breeds and more relaxed companions, ensuring they receive the right balance of exercise, care, and affection. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of time to provide attentive care for your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2 PM, with flexible hours to accommodate early mornings or late evenings when needed. Your pets will have my full attention, whether it’s for a short walk, extended playtime, or overnight stays. I have a secure fenced yard and two friendly, well-socialized dogs to keep your pet company. My home is pet-proofed, with safe spaces for both active play and rest. I can easily crate your dog upon request, follow any special feeding or medication instructions, and maintain constant supervision to ensure their safety. Cleanliness, comfort, and a loving environment are my top priorities.

“Lydia does amazing with my high energy puppy!!! She was super flexible as plans changed and always responds to my messages quickly. She pays attention and leaves me a detailed report card with lots of pictures. I feel safe leaving my sweet girl in Lydia’s care and love that while in the crazy process of moving across the country, I know I have a reliable dog walker. 10/10 she’s the best! :)”

“Jennie is awesome! We needed someone to come over and let our 2 dogs out mid-day, walk them and play with them a bit. She has gone above and beyond and has exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend her. She’s a star!”

About: I am not afraid to give medications, I walk as long as the client desires, I don't cut corners with the care I offer. I make my clients' schedules my priority. Pet-sitting is a full-time passion for me. My schedule is basically open. Filling my time with pet- and house- care also fills my heart. This is what I love, helping people and the animals in their lives. I get all the vet and emergency info when I first meet the client. I ask about plant care, mail retrieval, the pets' typical schedule, and locations of important and necessary items for the animals' care. I take care of things the way I would want my own house and pets taken care of.

“As always Allie is brilliant. We and our dog, Romoe have been lucky to have Allie take care of him. We very highly highly recommend her. We are always very confidant of the proper care and attention being administered. Cheers Allie :)”

“Taylor was great! She came over the day before to meet the doggies. Even though the times I originally requested were a little difficult for her schedule that day (it was last minute,) she did all she could to make it as close as possible- and ended up being there about the time I had requested anyway. I scheduled two visits in one day, and while I said the second visit only needed to be a feed and let out in the yard - she asked if they could still go for a walk. :) She was also very observant and noticed a small scratch on one of my dogs, sent a photo, and asked if I wanted her to treat it. I really appreciate all the attentiveness; and the above and beyond she provided for my babies. Most importantly, the dogs seemed to really like her too. :) We are already planning for her to return. Thank you!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages for many years, and have 2 rescue pups. I work from home so I’m able to let give them plenty of attention throughout the day. I treat my dogs like my children and will do the same for yours! Working from home allows me to be available to give lots of love and frequent potty breaks. My dogs are let out every couple hours. When the weather is nice, the dogs get lots of play time in the yard! You can expect plenty of pics and updates of your pup during their stay. I live in a single family home with a spacious fenced in backyard for the pups to play and exercise. I have a doggy door, as well a gated doggy run and a large playpen inside (see pics). My dogs sleep in my bed, so I’m more than happy to allow your dog to sleep in bed with me, or I can crate them at night and when away if that's their typical routine. My home is safe and secure with a video security system inside and out so I can monitor the pups if I'm away.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child. I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life. Friends and family have trusted and relied on me to make sure their pets are loved and taken good care of. I’ve taken care of puppies, cats, and even senior age dogs. I’ve seen it all and have experience with animals who have cancer and can try my hardest to make them comfortable and be able to enjoy their time with me. I have recently graduated with my Bachelors of Health Science degree and I’m currently taking a gap year. With that being said I have a lot of free time on my hands now to be able to love on your furry family members!! I am married and my husband does work remotely from home for those who board or book daycare with me, your furry friend will be with him and I and our pup Scout. I have a fenced in yard and a lovable puppy ready to make new friends! I can adjust to what your cat or dog may need to be comfortable in a new environment. Whether that be with meet and greets beforehand or just lots of love and space to help them feel comfortable.

About: I have worked in professional pet care for 4 years and have been watching neighbors dogs for the past 2 years. At doggy daycare I have worked with all sizes and ages of dogs and am comfortable with all of them. I am currently and student at The University of Missouri but am still able to come to your house to watch your pet. I can stay at your house during the week or weekend, my classes are during the middle of the day so they can go out plenty of times in the morning and night. I have three dogs at home that I am very used to taking care of as well as my cat. I can follow your pets schedule so there is no difference in your care and mine.

About: We just moved to Columbia, and we’re looking to spend our free time doing something we love. Ive had many pets over my whole life. I got my first dog, Scarlet, when I was just a little kid. Scarlet was a shih tzu poodle mix. Ive had small dogs such as Shih tzus and Chihuahuas, and large dogs likes boxers. Ive also had several cats. I enjoy walking with my pets and taking them to parks to play, and snuggling down in the couch for cuddle time. I believe and live by the phrase mans best friend. Dogs are the best companions man has ever found. All of our pets are fun, loving, energetic. Your pets deserve the best care, and I can promise they will receive it from me! My regular schedule for potty breaks is every 2 hours starting at 8am (unless otherwise specified) until 10pm. Feedings are 8am after potty break, 3pm and 8pm ( Unless otherise specified!) Weather permitting I like to do a walk in the evening after it's cooled down in the summer time and toward early to mid afternoon when it's warmest in the winters. I am comfortable crating your dog and using baby gates to keep your dog in certain areas of your house, I'm comfortable using prong or training collars as long as the caps are on them or they are rounded, I love playing fetch with pups! I love snuggles so you bet your dog will definitely feel love and secure while you're away!

About: I always had dogs and cats growing up so being around animals is nothing new to me. The most I lived with at one time was 3 cats and 4 dogs and it wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows of course, but I love and care for the animals like they are family. It’s important that your fur baby is good with kids because my two will be helping make their stay feel like home. Your fur baby will get lots of love and attention! I am a band director August-May so being a teacher is my main job. Although I love it, it is not very lucrative - so working with Rover is a summer funds supplement. I’ve held temporary jobs that had little to no personal meaning but getting the opportunity to spend time caring for animals seems to give it a bit more of a purpose, which I enjoy. Looking forward to meeting your fur family! My daily routine is very relaxed in the summer because I’m off as a teacher. My family is home most days other than the occasional summer outing. We do not have a fenced yard but we love to visit the dog park! Twin Lakes is our favorite. We also live in a quiet neighborhood and have the ability to go on walks whenever we like.

About: I specialize in caring for dogs of all ages, puppies through senior. My pup is a senior baby and through Almost There Rescue I have worked and cared for puppies of all ages. Other then cats and dogs I have experience caring for: ferrets, tortoises, guinea pigs, snakes, hissing cockroaches, millipedes, bearded dragons, geckos, and hedgehogs. I have a part time job which gives me plenty of free time to care for your animal family. I do not have a specialized schedule and can be asked asap to care for your babies. I will do whatever you need to care for your animal family members. I will feed them their own specialized food and administer medicine at specific times you give. I will take them on potty breaks and play with them continuously. Of course if asked to take them on walks I will love to do that too!

“I would like to share my recommendation for Becca, who took great pleasure in caring for my dog Chase while me and my family went out of the country for a few weeks. From the very beginning, Becca, showed a deep love and understanding of animals. Chase is a 70 pound rottweiler and pitbull mix and can be "too much at times" he loves attention and requires to be pet at all times. She was so attentive to my dog needs , ensuring he had water, food , lots of attention and even went out of her way to send me regular updates and pictures. Chase was excited and happy in her care, which says a lot about Becca's ability to make pets feel safe and loved. I highly recommend Becca for any pet sitting needs. She is reliable , caring and someone i truly trust to care for my dog. Sincerely, Carol B”

Catlyn W.Star Sitter
“Catlyn has cared for my Havapoo Lulu many times when I have gone out of town. When I pull up to her house, Lulu is so excited to see Catlyn and runs to her door! Catlyn goes above and beyond to make sure that Lulu is not only cared for, but spoiled while in her care. She takes her on walks and spends a lot of time outdoors in the fenced in yard. She sends me pictures and videos and even had her over Halloween and sent me pictures of her in a costume! Catlyn’s dog Barb is very sweet and gets along very well with other dogs. It is such a blessing to know that Lulu has a safe place to stay when I can not be with her.”

Alexis H.
“Alexis has pet sit for my dog Max and cat Chance while my family has traveled out of town for more than 5 trips. She’s responsible and a great communicator. She always leaves our home and pets better than she found them. We appreciate her consistency and attention to detail with our pet care requests. Our pets are always happy and healthy after Alexis has taken care of them!”

Mackenzie T.
“Mackenzie loves animals. She is always on time and has no problems handling special needs of your pets. She likes to spend extra time with them so they get extra love. She is a great animal caregiver!”

Tiffany L.
“Tiffany is a kind, compassionate, and trustworthy person who would be perfect to leave your fur babies with. If she can teach a room full of 30 teenagers all day long, she is more than qualified to hang out with your pup and show them lots of love while you're away. I highly recommend!”

Brianna L.
“Breezy is an amazing dog walker and overall pet care taker. She puts so much effort into making sure my dog always has her medication at the right time each day which is absolutely crucial with my dog’s epilepsy. Whenever my family is gone for the day she always steps in and has our backs. She’s reliable, dependent and she’s great with dogs. My dog picks and chooses what people she likes, but from the start she loved Breezy. Breezy brings this warm, inviting energy into our home whenever she steps in it, and I would almost say my dog likes when we leave for an extended period, because then she gets to see Breezy. She loves all types of pets, and they all love her back just as much. She’s very patient and sweet, and I would definitely recommend her as a pet caretaker.”
