“Brodie took to Karissa from the very first moment. She was very professional and I knew he'd be in good hands. She sent a photo update every day so I could see he was doing well. It was nice to come home to a clean house as I left it and a well-kept-for dog who got to snuggle.”

About: Hi! I’m Gloria! I graduated from Penn foster last year to become a Veterinary Technician and I’m taking my VTNE to become a licensed veterinary technician in October and have over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats in both hospital and clinical settings. I specialize in providing safe, compassionate, and attentive care for pets of all ages, including puppies, seniors, and pets who need extra patience or medical awareness. My background includes assisting with procedures, monitoring recovery, supporting medication routines, and recognizing early signs of stress or illness. Because of my experience, I’m especially confident caring for: • Senior pets • Pets with anxiety or special needs • Pets requiring medications or close observation • Multi-pet households I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home. I focus on keeping your pet’s routine consistent, providing lots of attention and comfort, and keeping you updated with photos and messages so you always feel at ease. My goal is simple — to provide reliable, professional care so your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. What sets me apart, yes I can give medications but I don’t know how to give insulin to diabetic patients. ✔ 8 years veterinary experience ✔ Comfortable with medications & special care ✔ Experienced with senior and anxious pets ✔ Strong attention to safety and behavior changes ✔ Reliable communication with daily updates ✔ Calm, patient, and dependable I’m available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm for dog sitting, dog walking, or house sitting and if have cats I can take care of them as well. I plan to dog or cat sit at the comfort of the owners home but if they need to come to my home for any reason my home is fenced and I do have kennels and extra food and water and I do have two dogs who are super sweet and kind. I also have a cat and he gets along with dogs and cats if you need me to cat sit your cat at my home I can do that as well
“Jada was absolutely excellent! Jada provided outstanding care for our sweet fur baby. Her detailed updates with photos and videos were incredibly reassuring and did 100% justice to her fantastic service. She stayed in our home and made us feel completely at ease. I’ll admit I was nervous after a previous bad cat sitting experience, so I left extensive notes about our pet’s care and routine. Jada wasn’t fazed by this at all and completely understood our concerns about having a stranger in our home. Her professionalism and genuine understanding put us right at ease. We really enjoyed having Jada care for our pet and can’t wait to have her back for our next trip. Highly recommended!”

“Jordyn was awesome! My dogs loved her. She was responsive, attentive, cautious and overall made me feel very comfortable leaving my dogs in her care for my time away. I will be rebooking. Thank you Jordyn!”

“LOVED! Was the first time I’ve used Courtney or anyone out side of family in years and I felt comfortable since day one and the pictures of my boys smiling throughout the whole stay just made it better! Will absolutely reach out to Courtney for my future needs”

“Stacy took great care of my fur baby! She sent me daily updates and pictures of him, and made sure to spend so much time giving him attention. This was my first time leaving Bentley, and I felt so comfortable leaving him in such great hands! She even took him on extra walks, and I couldn’t be more grateful :)”

“Josh & Erin were so great with my pups. It was the first time we use a sitter service and we were nervous about the whole process. They did a meet and greet and asked a bunch of questions, answered all of ours, and were really comfortable around our 2 German Shepherds and Chihuahua. They stayed in our home and took great care of our dogs. We got pictures and recaps of their days. Thank you so much guys, can't tell you how much we appreciate it!!”

“I am so happy to have found Leigh Ann to take care of our babies while we were on vacation. She was great to work around our schedule, sent photos and kept in touch about how they were doing. I especially appreciate the Meet n' Greet before we left. This was the first time for a non-family member sitter and she immediately set my nerves at ease. Highly recommend! Thanks, Leigh Ann!!!”

About: Pet care schedule: Your baby will have 4 outside play sessions a day 6-7am 11-12pm 4-5pm 9-10pm Your baby will take 2 walks on leash to monitor pooping and to help burn out energy. If you are requesting a meet and greet, please understand meet and greets must take place at my residence where your baby is being kept, because I must remain present for pets I am sitting ❤️. A little about me: I enjoy spoiling and treating my fur babies like my own children (because they are lol). I lived on a farm for most of my life and have cared for animal my entire life. I own a mini poodle, named Zoe, who loves playing with other dogs. Zoe and I enjoy dog parks, doggie pools, visiting doggie bakeries to try new treats, playing catch and tug of war, doggie walks, play dates with other dogs, and cuddle time while watching a great movie. My dog is my best friend. Zoe’s healthy and happiness is important to me, and it is equally important to me to ensure your fur baby is cared for with the same quality of time, effort and love. I’m very flexible and I aim to be accommodating to the people I serve. When doggie sitting, I enjoy sending parents daily images of their pups having fun, and I also enjoy sending pups home with a treat. I make sure I am available throughout the day to stay connected with pup parents, and to ensure pups are well cared for and attended to. Lastly, I am also experienced in caring for other animals such as birds, fish, hamsters etc, and I grew up raising and caring for farm animals as well. In my care, your pup will enjoy daily walks, up to 4 outdoor play sessions a day, water play (with doggie sprinkler or doggie pool), access to roam a large fenced back yard, the company and friendship of other dogs, daily treats and snacks (at the approval of the owner), doggie day care shows on a movie projector, and all the cuddles and love they need while you’re away. I’m looking forward to meeting and caring for your fur baby ❤️. I work from home! In addition, i have a ring camera in my home that allow me to monitor pet activity 24/7. I believe in keeping pets safe, comfortable and well entertained. Pups are released outside for potty breaks every 2-4 hours starting at 6am. Pups are given 2 - 3 play sessions outside in the fenced yard. Play time includes allowing them to play with toys, water (pool, sprinkler), and play among other pups. I typically will keep pups food and water filled, but will keep pups on a special feeding schedule at the request of the parent. I also provide pups with treats through out the day as positive reinforcement but will omit at the parents request. Pups are allowed to roam the house but pups who are not potty trained are crated at bedtime.
“Vicki was an exceptional in-house dog sitter! Reliable, caring, and truly goes above and beyond. Left my dogs happy, healthy, and my home spotless. Couldn't ask for a better pet-sitting experience. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve always grown up around all different types of animals from dogs and cats to snakes and fish so I have had lots of practice. I have had many family members, family friends and friends of my own ask for help and I’m always so happy to do so!! I am currently taking an online class for college so I am available almost any time and any day. I cannot do Saturday’s because I live with a toddler so I stay home and visit with family on the weekend, but other than that I am free, so why not spend it with cuties!? I always keep up with the animals that are in my care I always make sure I’m paying attention to what they eat, how much they are eating, making sure they have water at all times, I make sure to take them on at least 2-3 walks a day depending on how long they are in my care! I also make sure to provide them some fun and playtime so they are not alone all day or in a kennel cooped up all day either.
“Extremely communicative, gave us a lot of updates when we were on our trip and watched my senior cat very carefully for any signs of problems. Didn’t worry at all while I was gone. Also left my place very clean! Would definitely rebook :)”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life (currently a mom of a dog and a cat) and love taking care of animals with all my heart! I’m currently home from college and thought that this would be a good way to make money on the side while I job hunt! I’m very experienced with senior pets (currently own a 17 year old cat). I’ve put a lot of time learning how to gain trust of animals and how to understand their body language and emotions, so stressed pets aren’t common with me! Every day is a good day to play with animals for me ! Currently looking for a part time job, but nothing that will take up too much of my time to visit your animals and take care of your pets. My weekends are entirely open as well! I’m very communicative on the status of your pet and how they’re doing, and I always give lots of pets if they like them! Your house will appear just as you left it, and your pet will be happy, walked, fed, and not lonely at all!
“Abigail was absolutely amazing! My dogs loved her, and she kept me at ease the entire time with consistent updates, messages, and photos. She truly went above and beyond—not only taking great care of my dogs, but also leaving my home spotless. She washed the sheets and towels she used, cleaned up, and handled everything with so much care and attention to detail. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will definitely be booking with her again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Midline
Jane watched our fur babies for the first time, while we went to a concert. She was excellent! She has a calm demeanor, which is perfect for our little loves. Our little girl takes medication, which is very important to be given on time. We also feed our babies a food that has to be prepared a special way with supplements added and Jane was great! We checked in on our cameras a few times to make sure everything was going great and the babies were very comfortable with her! We will definitely use Jane in the future to come to our home. and watch our fur babies. Thank you again, Jane!

FAQs for House Sitting - Midline
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 1,110 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Midline. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Midline walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Midline maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Midline choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Midline. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
