“She was wonderful with our dogs while we were gone for the weekend. Our one dog even warmed up to her pretty much instantly and that dog never likes new people. I really appreciated all of the photo updates and the way she made sure to understand and give our fur babies the same treatment we give them ourselves, if not better. We won't hesitate to continue booking her if she's available in the future.”

“Evan was great! Very good with handling Delilah and providing updates on her as well as not being afraid to ask clairfying questions for things I forgot to mention in her care plan”

“Enjoyed having Milica take care of Lexi overnight in our home. She’s conscientious and got on well with Lexi and her communication was very consistent and helpful.”

“David was not only great with my dog Lou he didn’t miss a beat when I had to change her care instructions at the last minute. Before his stay, Lou injured her leg and needed to wear a cone and be carefully watched. David went above and beyond what he originally expected and I appreciated it so so much”

“My dogs were taken care of excellently! I got lots of photos and it was very clear that my entire pack (which is a crazy pack both in size and energy 🤣) was very happy! Can't recommend these two enough! Thanks so much!”
“Caitlin was amazing! She is the best sitter I got on Rover! She stayed hours making company to my cat Leia and I have no words to thank her for being so loving with her.”

About: When I was 5, my first ever chore was feeding the dog because my parents knew it was what I cared about most. That hasn’t changed. I’ve had animals of some sort my entire life and currently have two larger dogs. I’ve used Rover as a pet owner since moving to Pittsburgh and can fully attest to how helpful it has been, which is why I decided to become a sitter I’ve sat for animals with needs for oral and topical medicines and am comfortable handling that. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I only need a day’s notice to plan transportation. For house sitting, I’m happy to work from that home as well. I’m comfortable with whatever your pet is used to. Fenced yards, leashed walks, and litter boxes are all fine by me. I’m also happy to help reinforce training and routine if needed.
About: I have had 3 dogs of my own! An Australian Cattle Dog Mix, a Basenji mix, and a working line large breed German Shepherd, which I helped train in obedience to be an SD. My dogs always had scheduled potty breaks and playtime. My job is to make sure your pet has the best time while keeping boundaries/respecting their space, ensuring their safety, and following your expectations of care. I am comfortable with any amount of shedding and the size of your pet. I can especially ease my interaction with pets that are scared and anxious, as through training my own dog, I am better at picking up the dog’s body language and only engage in physical contact if the pet’s body language consents. If you have an aggressive pet, please notify me beforehand. I do not guarantee I will agree to care for them, but I am interested in scheduling a first meeting if possible. Note: I do not drink/smoke, so your loved one will never be affected by second-hand smoke or inappropriate behavior. I am very available on the weekends and by the afternoon on weekdays. If you need morning care, please reach out and I will see if I can accommodate! My pets are routinely groomed and freshened. Everytime they come inside after heavy play, I clean their body from head to toe with pet friendly wipes. I use a brush that helps with shedding and smoothing out hair. Their teeth gets brushed every 2 weeks. I check their ears for dirt routinely and the inside of their paws for any injuries or cracking from dryness.
“Traisaun was a great dog sitter and Kaya had an absolute great time with him. We could tell she was so relaxed and really enjoyed her time! The house was left in great shape too. We would love to hire him again given the chance!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love getting to know each one’s personality. I grew up with a dachshund for nearly 14 years, which taught me the responsibility and consistency that great pet care requires. As I got older, my dad and I also hosted dogs through Rover in our home, so I’m very familiar with caring for dogs in a home environment, helping them adjust to new spaces, and keeping them comfortable while their owners are away. I also have hands-on experience working in a dog daycare, where I supervised playgroups of 20+ dogs at a time. I managed group dynamics, kept play safe and positive, handled feeding routines, cleaned up after dogs, and moved them between spaces. That experience made me very confident in reading dog body language and stepping in early to keep things fun and safe. I’m active and love walks, playtime, and just hanging out with dogs. Whether your pup wants to run around or relax and get attention, I’m happy to match their energy. I also love sending photo updates so you can see how they’re doing! I’m a CMU student who loves spending time with animals outside of class. My schedule allows me to be available throughout the week and on weekends for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and will make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I pay close attention to behavior and surroundings, so I can keep things safe, calm, and positive. On walks, I stay aware of other dogs, people, and anything that might be stressful or overstimulating. During home visits, I stick closely to your dog’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure. Because of my daycare experience, I’m confident handling multiple dogs, recognizing early signs of stress, and adjusting quickly to prevent issues. I’ll also keep you updated so you always know your pup is happy and in good hands.
“Rachel was fantastic! She was able to fill in for us last-minute when our regular sitter had a scheduling conflict, and took excellent care of our animals and our house! We really appreciate how flexible and accommodating she was, and were very happy with her communication skills, which included frequent updates along with pictures of our pets. We would easily recommend her services to anyone else looking for a sitter!”

“She was amazing, was able to book her last minute and she was very good with communication. She sent photos and videos while she was over watching our dog and even left a note! Would highly recommend and will definitely be using her again!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from energetic puppies to calm senior pets who need a gentler pace. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and always prioritize safety, whether that’s sticking to your dog’s routine, handling leash walks confidently, or keeping a close eye on behavior. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, basic training reinforcement, crate routines, and giving lots of love and attention. What sets me apart is how seriously I take communication and trust: you’ll always get updates, photos, and full transparency so you feel completely at ease while you’re away. I’m currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh, which actually gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I have breaks throughout the day between classes, so I’m able to stop by for walks, drop-ins, or check-ins without rushing. Evenings are usually wide open for longer visits or house-sitting, and weekends are very flexible as well. My schedule is consistent week to week, so you can count on reliable care and clear communication about my availability. Since I provide care in my clients’ homes, my priority is always to maintain a safe, calm, and familiar environment for your pets. I follow your routines exactly; feeding schedules, walk routes, crate rules, playtime, and any house guidelines you prefer so your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’m very mindful of doors, gates, and leashes to prevent escapes, and I make sure your home stays tidy and respected throughout my stay. I communicate frequently with updates and photos so you always know how things are going, and I’m attentive to any changes in behavior or appetite. My goal is to give your pet reliable, loving care while giving you total peace of mind.

“This was our second time using Natalie and we will use her time and again! She tackles our complicated 5 pet situation with ease and I feel confident entrusting her with their care. Thank you Natalie!”

“Gabrielle took great care of our cats and was in constant communication with us about how they were doing, including cleaning up a plant that one had knocked over. She also sent lots of pictures which was appreciated.”

“This was my first booking with Heather and she exceeded all of my expectations. She communicated clearly and gave me peace of mind while I was away. And went above and beyond in preparing the house for my return. And, I returned to a happy kitty. I will definitely book with Heather again.”

Such an amazing sitter. Very good communication before and during. Good updates while we were gone. We have a lot of dogs and she handled them all so well. Our house was spotless when we got back and she we the extra mile. Highly recommend and will be using again.

Kathryn did such a wonderful job house sitting with our dog and cats! She actively communicated throughout the time we were away, and her regular updates and pics let us know the pets were getting great care. Her attention to detail and ability to problem solve were very much appreciated as well. Kathryn expertly handled giving meds, and she let us know whenever anything seemed off. Most of all, the pets adore her! When we arrived home, the house looked great and the pets were as happy as ever. Overall, Kathryn is a total pro, and we will defintely rebook for future pet needs!

We used Kat for the first time over the 4th of July holiday. She was very professional, communicated regularly with us and sent pictures of our dogs. She did a great job over a difficult holiday (fireworks), helping our dogs stay calm. She also left the house neat and orderly, and the dogs were happy.

Rebecca went above and beyond to keep our dog happy, fed, comfortable, and safe at our home during a long two week trip. She kept him so busy and moving so much- I think he lost weight! She did constant walks, took him to her home, and hung around the house to keep him company. While we were gone, there was a very dangerous heat wave, but she kept him safe and cool. Honestly, I think he was so busy and excited by her love, he didn't notice we were gone. He was the happiest and the healthiest he has EVER been following a family trip. He had gotten too old and grumpy to survive other types of care. Rebecca was a smooth and easy transition from Doggie DayCare to Doggie-at-home care. She communicates constantly and effectively, keeping us up to date, and is also willing to take the lead, when we are off the grid. I highly recommend her. Benny was lucky to have such great care.

Milica took excellent care of our quirky and sometimes inscrutable greyhound, Bonnie, while we were away on vacation. She was extremely patient and attentive to all of Bonnie’s needs, administered her medications, and kept her on a great routine. She also went the extra mile and took care of some things around the house, which was a great help. Milica is a great communicator, and I am so deeply appreciate of her kindness and consideration (toward both humans and animals!) If you are picky about who stays with your pet, don’t hesitate to book Milica!

Erin was amazing with my dog and cat! She stayed with them for around three days and sent me pictures and updates to let me know how they were doing. She was so kind and caring to them. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I will definitely have her back to watch my pets! We’re very grateful to her for everything she did!

Autumn did an awesome job staying at my house watching Mack and Aries while I was out of town. She followed the detailed instructions and I came home to happy pups and the house was in good condition. I def recommend her and would utilize her again for house sitting.

Lexie did house/pet sitting for us for a week, and she was wonderful! We felt very comfortable with her being in our home, and she took excellent care of my 2 dogs—walked them both every day, sent pictures and text updates daily, and gave the dogs lots of love and attention. We were very happy with the care she provided, and would definitely recommend her!
