About: Since high school I have had experience with normal pets to the exotic! I can honestly say that each animal is an individual that deserves their specific needs acknowledged and met. I do have experience with senior animals that need medication as well as special needs, there hasn’t been an experience that I haven’t learned from! I’ve even read books like Caesar’s Way in order to better understand my own pets and help them. I’ve even been known to be a bit of a perfectionist although that was in my earlier years now I can gladly say am a seasoned sitter! Please feel free to reach out to me before booking my care and I will answer any and all questions! Caring for your family member fits into my routine because at the moment I am a dog Mom of one dachshund with a good partner that loves her as much as I do! I also do volunteer work, which is extremely flexible. Aside from that a lot of what I do is online, which works out great when pet care is involved I will care for your family member by noting all of their needs as well as asking any questions I have about the environment if it was not already covered in our introduction. I like to take notes!

I'm recently retired from a long career as a professional equestrian and horse trainer, and I'm excited to begin this journey of offering pet care services to the community! About: Starting at the age of 12, I began volunteering at local animal shelters (Truckee Humane Society) as well as dog sitting for local Tahoe families. I am a huge advocate for taking time out of the day to get your pet exercise whether that be a leashed walk on a paved trail or an 8 mile hike into the wilderness. I work full time however, I am able to bring well trained social dogs to work. If you prefer for me to not take your dog to work, I live 10 minutes from my home so it is very convenient for me to let your dog out multiple times throughout the day!
