About: I lived and worked one year on an Alpaca farm caring for them and great Pyranese puppies. I have year and half of volunteering at Sammie friend shelter with the dogs. Friends have paid me to pet sit overnight. I use to have 10 goats. I would milk them and make cheese. Also would do goat packing trips. I joined a traveling horse caravan in gautamala Taken riding and natural horseman lessons. Have trained friends dogs. Been a dog owner of four dogs . I will be doing boarding in my house with younger kids so unfortunately, if you’re a get dog does not get along with kids I cannot have them bored with me at this time. I have my kids part through the week and do massage when it comes up. My schedule is very Flexible and open to find time to go on adventures and walks I care for them by walking and letting them hang with me in the house or backyard. Pets are my equals and deserve as much care as we do.

About: I’ve grown up primarily with large dogs, those dogs smaller alongside feline friends as cared for by my grandfather and I before his passing. Educating and reinforcing the significance of proper animal care in my calling to love on these furry friends with responsibility and compassion! I’m very flexible, just communicate your preferences and needs as I’ll happily make them happen in order to properly provide service to our furry friends! Providing service at the clients home looks like keeping up with a clean environment, annual check ups via phone with the owner while always remaining alert to the animal’s needs.

About: We are a family full of love for pets! My Husband has volunteered at Sammies Friends walking dogs, and at home we have three indoor-outdoor cats, and a Chihuahua named Bella who’s 10 (my Daughter’s). We had to put down our 14-year-old chocolate lab named Yotis a few years ago, and was my Husband’s best friend! My Son’s 12 year old German Shepard Zani passed a couple years ago as well, and she was the best dog addition to this family. We have always had dogs and cats in the home, and all are friends with each other and they each have unique personalities! We have a dog park nearby as well! The oldest cat I have had was a tabby named Chica, and got her at 8 weeks old when I was 16, and she was 15 when she passed!!! Our pets are our fur family and we love them all!!! Kids are all grown up now, and my Husband is gone a lot as a Fire Captain, so I am more than willing and available to housesit dogs and/or cats in your home. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and pets. My Husband works 3 days on, 4 days off and likes to help with your pets as well. He is a Dog Whisperer, and I am the Cat Lady! We love taking nature walks, and have both been on Rover since before COVID in 2019. I am available at any time due to my kids being older now, amd we don’t currently have a dog of our own. I love getting out of the house and exploring new neighborhoods and areas especially during Spring and summer. We have resided in Nevada County for decades! We don’t dog board due to having too many household members and pets already, but in your home they are taken care of exactly how they should be. With compassion and love.

About: I have a unique background with horses, farm animals, and dogs that want to walk all day in the forest. I grew up with cats and dogs my whole life. I have fostered kittens, boarded cats, and stayed with dogs up to 200 pounds. I am available overnight for weekends, nights, and extended periods between Nevada County and Placer County. I usually stay a week or more with fur babies. You can relax knowing I am keeping the utmost care and safety of your animals and home. I want to clarify during our visit if you need care at the 2-hour, 4-hour, or 6-hour interval beyond the overnight stay of 7 pm to 7am. I am currently available most days and nights due to my online graduate program. Communication is key! I will send daily pictures or updates. For best prevention, talking about the details with the owner and ground rules produces the best results. Topics will include where the pet feels most comfortable such a calm spaces or crating procedures. I make sure to go over emergency contacts and preferred clinics. Also, I keep a clean environment that ensures the safety of pets for food handling.

About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

About: I have always had many animals growing up, I've taken care of little dogs and big dogs, over 90 bunnies, chickens, horses, cows, alpacas, goats at once. I lived on a ranch most of my life where I had at most, 40 goats, 4 cows, 5 horses, many dogs, many cats, 30 chickens on average, 10 alpacas. Cats are my favorite animal. I have pet sit before on many occasions. Not that it helps on this app but I have gave medicine, tended to, bandaged, cut out of fences( some animals get caught in fences), and birthed animals. I am very familiar with there needs and have a hard working, loving attitude. I am open to any schedule, please message me for details. Same day scheduling is just alright with me. Scheduling in advance is much appreciated. Open to all animals. When I take care of your pets, I take care of them like my own and with attention to detail. I am loving to them and make sure to meet all of your and their needs. I am respectful to the home and leave it exactly how I entered. Additionally I pick up after them and do any in home care such as cleaning and throwing out the trash if necessary. I stay in contact and respond very quickly for a safe and trusting environment.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I could remember. I have had dogs my whole life who I feed, water and walk! Along with taking care of friends, family and neighbors furry friends too! I’m currently not working so I have plenty of time to spend with your animals! Im very flexible with your needs/wants! In additional i make time to feed, water, walk and play with my puppies as well! I have a big fenced yard at home! When i’m taking care of other fur babies I make sure they eat their food and drink their water! About: I grew up with two big German Shepherd huskies and now I have a lab and German Shepherd Husky, and Catahula/B Collie I’ve watched pit bulls as well. Some experience with horses and live stock. Work remote in Cool and have very flexible availability, I can take very short notice jobs and I'm only out of town a few days a month I am someone who runs daily so long dog walks will be fun for me. I can also take dogs to parks if that is desired.

About: Ive been taking care of dogs for over 10 years. I love going on walks and just hanging out with them. I also enjoy giving dogs baths! My schedule is pretty flexible! I am usually free on weekends. I do not take spontaneous trips. All my trips are planned in advance so I can work things around it. I will follow the rules of your house when I am there. If you say "No dogs on the furniture.", then I will make sure no dogs on the furniture. I will adhere to any strict routine you have in place for feeding or walking. I will also send daily pictures of all animals while I care for them.

About: Since high school I have had experience with normal pets to the exotic! I can honestly say that each animal is an individual that deserves their specific needs acknowledged and met. I do have experience with senior animals that need medication as well as special needs, there hasn’t been an experience that I haven’t learned from! I’ve even read books like Caesar’s Way in order to better understand my own pets and help them. I’ve even been known to be a bit of a perfectionist although that was in my earlier years now I can gladly say am a seasoned sitter! Caring for your family member fits into my routine because at the moment I am a dog Mom of one dachshund with a good partner that loves her as much as I do! About: Our family of two is pet-friendly. Dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals were guests in our house—all the way from small puppies to giant heavy mastiffs. Safe house for your pets. No neighbor dogs, only squirrels. The yard is protected around with fences and trees. My husband is a military medic trained to help dogs if needed. Can take care of oral medication, IV, pills. My husband is at home 99% since he is in Air Force Online Program right now, and I am at home most of the time. Our family very flexible on the weekends with the schedule and always happy to help other with their trips and dog stays. We have a fenced yard and have only one puppy, a lot of space inside and outside. My husband and I are very active and happy to take care of our little friends.

About: I finished my bachelors degree at Sacramento State and find myself with free time before starting my career and I want to use this time to take excellent care of your pets. About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 5. I have a degree in animal science, specializing in horses. I have a one year old Labrador named Kilala who I already take on walks. Let me add your pet to our adventures. I just started a new job. I work Monday-Friday half days. Usually unavailable on weekends unless I have plenty of notice. If the request if for house sitting your dog needs to get along with mine I want to take your dog on walks/hikes. I already have my own dog so she needs to come with me if I am house sitting and ideally she would join in on all walks. Please no pets that are aggressive towards other dogs or people.
