“Shawne was great she followed all instructions, cleaned up any messes, and was very easy to get a hold of. For the 30 minute drop-ins she stayed for a little over an hour (maybe that was 30 mins per dog, but it was great!) She sent a report card for each drop-in which showed the path of their walk, if the dogs went to the bathroom, and included multiple pics of the dogs. I would definitely recommend!”

“Diana is fantastic! She jumped right in to help me with my new puppy for about two weeks now and we’ve a few more on the books. She gone above and beyond to help my take care of and start training my puppy! She’s timely and very communicative. SO thankful for her!!”

About: I've grown up caring for pets, so I understand how much love, patience, and consistency animals need. For the past two years, I've pet sat in clients' homes, staying overnight when needed so pets can stay comfortable in their own space. I have experience with dogs and cats. I'm happy to help with feeding, walks, playtime, litter boxes, basic care, and lots of attention and affection. I always make sure owners feel at ease with regular updates and thoughtful care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and can make time for walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, and plenty of attention. I enjoy being around animals, so caring for them never feels like a chore—I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication instructions, and any special care needs. In a client’s home, I respect their space, keep everything clean, and provide regular updates so they feel comfortable while away. My priority is making every pet feel safe, loved, and relaxed in a familiar environment.
About: I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by furry companions, and understand their needs and energy completely. With boundless enthusiasm and endless patience, I’m here to provide a loving, engaging experience for your pets! I am available for early morning shifts, evenings, and weekends, and I can generally accommodate your schedule with at least 24 hours' notice if needed. I maintain a safe and minimalist environment that provides ample space for your cats or dogs to play. Additionally, I can rearrange the areas in various configurations to meet your pets' needs.
About: I have always enjoyed spending my time with animals. I got my first dog when I was in elementary school - sadly he recently passed away - but since coming to college I have been missing my sweet fur baby. Being able to play with and care for someone else's pet while also earning extra cash would be an ideal job experience for me. Getting a new pet really isn’t an option for me right now. With all the free time on my hands, and I would love to get the chance to spend it walking and playing with your fur babies! In the past, I have dog sat for other friends and family and I really enjoyed it and having the extra company is always a plus!
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I have experience with diabetic dogs. Dogs that need medicine. Special needs dogs. I love to play with them, walk them and I will treat them as my own. We raise horses so I have a lot of experience where you have to pay close attention so I would notice if something is off with you dog and I would address it immediately. I’m retired so you would not have to worry about your dog or cat. I would walk, brush, and play with your dog or cat. I would take care of your animal as my own at your home. I would make sure they are loved like my own. If they have special needs or need shots, medicine or anything extra you can feel safe with me.
“Rebooked Emily to drop in on our cats for a couple days while we were on a short road trip. She thankfully accepted our last minute sitter request. As usual, she was very good at communicating, following our instructions, and sending us photos of our babies. We will definitely book again!”

About: I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, and through those years they interest me more and more. I had/have multiple cats and dogs, and the connection with them has been something I couldn’t imagine not experiencing. Plus, the knowledge I have gained from being around familiar animals makes me feel I would love experiencing new things with other pets, and get to know their unique personalities. With that being said, I am open to almost any training/service necessary for your dog(s) or cat(s) needs and would love to get to know your fuzzy family! I’ve just started school, and my classes are every weekday from 5:30 pm to 10 pm, just so you’re aware if that contradicts any booking requirements you need. I have my own pets to take care of, but other than that I don’t have consistent routines that would get in the way of the times and dates I’m available. For drop-ins, I will do feedings, outdoor/potty time, and get to know your pet(s). If there’s any questions or other service not noted that you’d like to ask I can do, I would be happy to answer. Walks- I do at least 15 minute walks, and up to 90 minute walks. More characterized questions, such as walking area or what certain necessities your pet(s) needs can be discussed once I have contact/a schedule with you.
About: I absolutely adore animals, but dogs are what I know best. I've always grown up with a dog in my house and currently live with 2 now. I’m happy to help in any way I can while I’m back in school pursuing a degree in healthcare :) I’m currently in school and have classes on Mondays over the summer. I’m happy to work around my study schedule to provide care for your pets. In your home what you say goes. I’m there for your pet and to respect your space. I know how I would feel letting someone in my home, so I hope to put your mind at ease.
“Jennifer was great! I hadn't followed up with her regarding access to Legend but yet she remained diligent regarding gaining access to him. I also appreciated her willingness to work with Legend. Being that he is a pit bull that can be intimidating to most but she took on the challenge. Thank you again Jennifer! I hope to book you in the future.”

About: I have three pets (two dogs and a kitten). I have had my dogs since they were puppies and trained both. They are basic and advanced command trained, crate trained, and potty trained. My sister successfully captured a stray kitten and after getting him fully vetted he is now our indoor cat who has been successfully litter trained. I have babysat many of my neighbors dogs and love walking my two dogs. I know how to deliver medicine to pets and feel comfortable caring for older pets. I'm currently working part time so I have a flexible schedule! I am available most weekends and during the week. I start a hybrid college course in January. When I visit your home I ensure to leave things the way I found them (hang up leashed/put toys away) and I am happy to meet a home before care for instructions.

About: Hi, I'm a 36 year old animal lover, I've had dogs and cats most of my life. Currently I don't have any pets due to the rules where I live, but I'd love to treat your pets like my own. Walks, baths or whatever the goodest boys and girls want/need. I have experience with older dogs and puppies. I currently have a pretty open schedule except 2-8pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday (can be worked around for the right situation). I have plenty of time to make sure your best friend is living their best lives while you're away. Pets are my top priority, potty and breakfast first thing in the morning, a nice walk around the neighborhood, lots of playtime especially for those high energy breeds, brushings and bathes for the dirty doggos and add in pretty painted nails for the pretty goodest girls.

About: Hi! My name is Allison, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I currently have a full house with 4 dogs and 2 cats so I’m very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and care routines. I also spent 3 years working in the veterinary field, which gave me valuable experience recognizing health concerns, administering basic care, and understanding animal behavior. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding schedules, or just giving your pets extra love and attention, I treat every animal like they’re my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’m committed to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate care while you’re away! Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life. I currently work as a 911 dispatcher, so I’m used to managing a structured but sometimes fast-paced schedule. I plan my pet sitting visits around my shifts, which allows me to stay organized and committed to each pet’s routine. Since I care for my own 4 dogs, 2 cats, and a horse daily, feeding, exercise, and attention are already built into my routine. Adding client pets into that schedule feels seamless, and I make sure each one gets reliable, consistent care and plenty of attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I provide drop-in visits that include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention based on each pet’s needs and energy level. I take the time to follow all instructions closely whether that’s specific feeding schedules, medications, or preferred routines, so your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. I also make sure your home is respected and kept tidy, bringing in mail, adjusting lights, and ensuring everything is secure. With my background in the veterinary field and experience caring for multiple animals of my own, I’m attentive to behavior changes and overall well-being, so you can feel confident your pet is in safe, capable hands.

When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your animal I will dedicate my time to loving them as if they were my own! About: This isn’t “watching,” it’s enrichment. I’m home full-time, comfortable with giant breeds, and working toward a dog-training certificate. Daily enrichment: scent games + short training reps (sit/down/place, leash manners). Real routine: 4+ outdoor breaks, play blocks, naps, calm evening wind-down. Senior-smart: slow walks, extra potty breaks, meds as directed. Safety & house rules No mixing different client households. Group play allowed only for dogs from the same household and only with owner approval. Crate only if your dog already uses one or needs it to decompress—otherwise no crate. No off-leash outside secure areas. Toys inspected/cleaned; high-value items managed; feeding done separately. Calm, low-stim environment; fully supervised play; I end sessions at the first sign of stress/arousal. A typical day Morning potty → breakfast → enrichment/training → rest. Midday walk/play → puzzle/lick-mat → nap. Late-day yard time or walk → dinner → relaxed engagement → bedtime potty. What I need to know Potty status, triggers, allergies, meds, feeding schedule, crate habits, separation issues, resource-guarding. Bring food, harness/leash, and a comfort item from home. Services Boarding / Daycare: enrichment-focused structure and play. Walks / Drop-Ins: potty, feed, tidy, quick manners tune-ups. Training add-on (optional): 15–30 min focused sessions on your priority cues. Updates Clear photo/video updates with honest notes on meals, potty, rest, and what we worked on. Bottom line: premium, toy-rich, 1:1 care—safe, structured, and tailored to your dog. Currently home full-time. I take dogs out generally about 4 times or more if needed. They will be well-loved. Bring their favorite toy so I can play with them with it. They will be walked every other day health permitting. I generally prefer dogs, but I love all animals.I don't have any animals of my own right so let me "borrow" yours. ;) I care for dogs, cats. I generally like to train them as well with simple commands to make your life simpler. I am currently pursuing a certificate in dog training.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
