“I’m so happy that I found Kristin! She made me feel so comfortable and be able to not worry at all about my fur babies stay. She communicated so well and updated me frequently so I got to see how our Kai was doing. I honestly can’t say enough positive things about Kristin and will definitely be recommending!”
2. Jennifer L.
“Jennifer did such an awesome job with Cooper. She went above and beyond to accommodate his needs and gave me great piece of mind while away from my pup. I would definitely utilize her dog sitting services again!”
3. Emily M.
“Emily and Thumper were such great hosts! Emily is an excellent communicator and our pup loved her and Sean. Our somewhat awkward and sensitive pup was so happy to hang with them we had no concerns leaving him. We were just looking for a responsible caretaker and we got that plus new doggy friends. We will definitely be seeing more of Emily and Thumper.”

About: I am a born and raised farm girl. I have taken care of all kinds of animals especially dogs and cats. I love to take them on walks around the neighborhood. I have a lot of experience in general care and would love to meet and care for your fur babies. I am currently a part-time student and work mainly online so I will have plenty of time to be with your pets and spend quality time playing/exercising. I have friendly fur babies here at home that would love to play with yours. I do happen to have one dog who isn't as friendly but he is always crated when other dogs are around so there is no worries in your pets getting hurt here. I assure you that they will get the best care and love here.
5. David A.
“David is the best fur baby sitter! I have three cats and he has always been flexible in either taking them to his house or coming by to care for them while I am away. All my kitties love him and are always so excited when they go to his house”
6. Sherryl G.
“Sherryl was awesome as a sitter with our girl. She sent photos and video each day. Our puppy dog seemed to enjoy her stay and got plenty of exercise and love. I really appreciate that Sherryl only takes one family of dogs at a time. That meant our dog stayed calmer and wasn't stressed with a large number of different dogs coming and going. Thank-you so much for taking such good care of our puppy dog. She will come to visit again.”

About: Willing to take care of most any dogs of all shapes and sizes, while watching your home. I love all animals but am most fond of dogs :) Although I grew up with cats, I am not generally a cat person unless they are super chill/nice. My grandparents owned a pet store in Alameda when I was younger called "The Living Picture" and I had to feed/water all the animals, so I do have the experience, but I'd say more recently it's just been dogs and the occasional cat. Just let me know what you have, and I'll let you know my comfort level. :) I am willing to travel outside of my area (Dorrington/Big Trees) for pet sitting but would like to keep dog walking and drop-ins to my general area of Big Trees/Arnold/Murphys. If you do not live in those areas, then it would be a 1 hour minimum for all walking & drop-in services. I'm currently available full-time for pet/house sitting so I will be able to give both your beloved animal(s) and your home my full attention (as long as I'm not booked)! I will keep my calendar up to date so you can rely on what it says. While pet/house sitting I will walk and play with your fur-baby(s) as much as they like or can handle. I will also send photos to you on a daily basis! I am willing to do other things like pick up dog poop in your yard (if that is where they go), bring in mail, water plants, etc. My rates are set for everyday animals and not 'special needs', so if your doggie or cat needs special attention or has behavioral issues then my rate would go up and reflect the amount of extra care or attention your fur baby requires.
8. Stacey C.
“Great sitter! Sent several pictures and reported on my dog’s status. Large fenced yard with lots of room to play, and dog seemed happy when we picked up.”
9. Angie L.
“Angie was very easy to book with. She was quick to respond. The drop off was easy, partially bc my dog is pretty easy. She had two small dogs one was easy for my dog to figure out the other not so much but it wasn’t a problem. Angie is clearly a dog lover. She sent lots of pictures and messages while i was in Yosemite. It was nice ti get updates when reception let my phone receive them. Angie was very flexible and accommodating when i communicated i was going to be very late picking up my dog. She stayed up late for me and i happily offered to compensate for the extra time.”
10. Gina M.
“Gina did an excellent job at taking care of Nacho- my 10 lb chihuahua mix! She was wonderful at catering to his needs. She made sure he was safe in the yard and comfy on the stairs in her home. She kept me updated on how he was doing multiple times throughout the day while I was away. When I realized I forgot a toy for him, she got him one! It was such a relief knowing he was in good hands! Would definitely hire Gina again to take care of Nacho. It was clear when she dropped him off that he really liked her. Thanks Gina!!”
11. Hannah H.
“Hannah is very kind, flexible, communicative, and helpful. Even came to meet me on my route to save me some driving time! Would definitely use again if I’m ever in the area.”
12. Gabi B.
“Gabi was an excellent dog sitter! We received daily updates on how my dog, Hans, was doing while under her care. My dog felt so comfortable around her to the point that now when we go on walks, he wants to stop by Gabi's house.”
13. Claire W.
“Claire was very responsive from the start and took time to meet our dog Bowie before he stayed with her. She sent a couple texts to let us know how he was doing over the weekend. When we picked him up he seemed very happy and obviously got along very well with her "gentle giant" Leroy. She had everything ready for us along with very clean dog bowls, Would highly recommend.”
14. Christy G.
“Christy has watched my dog Calaveras a number of times. She takes her swimming, on long walks, or even just on errands with her. Calaveras loves her so much.”
15. Mari S.
“Having known and worked with Mari for years I can attest she is a total animal advocate. Mari is a super volunteer at the shelter and a responsible, loving and very caring pet sitter. Mari has the knowledge to totally care for either dogs or cats. I completely trust Mari to give my animal the best care ever and I can be completely relaxed knowing she is caring for my fur babies. Best regards, Debby Beaufort”
16. Dinora E.
About: Hello there! I'm Dinora, I’m a devoted animal lover who works from home. Growing up surrounded by pets, I've created a space where animals naturally find comfort. As an adult, I now have my own sweet girl named Maggie; she is a 10 year old boarder collie/jack russell, so I am used to all kinds of behaviors and have a lot of patience. I have experience caring for all kinds of dogs with all sorts of personalities. At the end of the day I believe in always leading with empathy, high energy, and patience. I work from home on most days with a very flexible schedule that can easily work around whatever days I am caring for pets. I also have a good deal of flexible free time to walk, feed, care, and play with whatever dog I'm watching Looking forward to meeting and caring for your pup! :) I am currently working from home, so I have plenty of time for walks, days in the park, house visits, and any other doggie needs :) I will take all safety precautions to keep your pet safe with me. My vehicle is doggie friendly. I have walking areas near my house.

About: Hello, I am a pet sitter located in Mountain Ranch, serving Calaveras pet owners! I have been a pet owner since I was a child, mostly dogs and cats. I currently have two dogs who absolutely love making new friends and playing with other dogs. I also have an indoor/outdoor cat who is a shy boy until he gets to know the person or animal. I work at home, so I am here all the time. I have a few acres of well fenced in land, as well as a smaller fenced in backyard area. It’s really a dog’s dream land over here! I have one small dog and one large dog, both of whom are comfortable with and respectful to every size dog. My larger dog is amazing with puppies and is a gentle player, but can also play hard if the other dog is up for it. I guarantee your dogs will leave my house happy and tired!! I recently put down my dog of 15 years, so I have intimate knowledge of senior dog care as well. Unfortunately, I am not available for overnight stays at YOUR house, but I am happy to care for your babies at my home for a short or extended period of time. I am open to making day visits to your home depending on your proximity to me, so please feel free to reach out for those kinds of inquiries as well. If you have a unique situation, please feel free to tell me about it and we can see if we can find a situation that works for both of us! I will your treat your babies as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting them!! I work from home, so I am always here. I can care for your pet 24/7 and they will never be left inside for long. I have a large fenced in piece of land, with a smaller fenced in backyard. The fence has been reinforced for my own two escape artists, so they are well confined. My two dogs are very dog friendly and love to play. Your animal must be dog and cat friendly. My cat will most likely hide while your dog is here, but I don’t want to take any chances in case he decides to come out :)
18. Maria Fernanda & Jesper G.
“My recent experience with an off-grid dog sitter was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I dropped off Boo and met Jesper Maria and Bella until the joyous reunion at the end of my trip, every aspect of the experience surpassed my expectations. Nestled in the heart of nature, the off-grid setting provided an idyllic environment for Boo. Surrounded by tall trees, fresh air, and the soothing sounds of nature, Boo seemed to be in doggy paradise. The peace and tranquility of the location undoubtedly contributed to her overall well-being. Boo's off-grid cabin was a cozy retreat for Boo even though she didnt spend the night, day care only today. Equipped with heating pad, it would have provided a comfortable and secure space for her to relax. The absence of modern distractions encouraged her to fully embrace the great outdoors and engage in activities that catered to her natural instincts. What truly set this dog sitting experience apart was the level of personalized attention Boo received. Daily updates, complete with photos and videos, were sent to me, ensuring I was never far from Boos adventures. Their dog Bella and Boo got along very well and were a great pair. In this off-grid setting, Boo enjoyed a variety of activities that kept her both mentally stimulated and physically active. From scenic hikes through the wilderness to playful sessions of fetch in a spacious, fenced yard, Boo was in doggy heaven. Jesper's commitment to providing ample exercise was evident in Boos content demeanor upon my return. In conclusion, our off-grid dog sitting experience was a resounding success. The combination of a serene natural setting, personalized attention, engaging activities, and effective communication made it worthwhile. I wholeheartedly recommend Jesper and Maria to anyone seeking a unique and enriching experience for their canine companions.”
