“Gabby was a great sitter for my dog. I was very comfortable the whole time I was on vacation. She provided updates with photos and it was great to know that her dog is friendly and got along well with mine. Thank you!”

“Angie was a wonderful host for our dog. She was communicative and responsive during the booking process. We’re always nervous leaving our dog with someone new, even though we have always had good experiences with Rover. Our experience with Angie did not disappoint. We received photo and story updates during the week our dog stayed with Angie and her two poodles. Upon our arrival Poppi ran right past us to continue playing in Angie’s yard. He appeared content. We loved how Angie told us a lot of stories of his visit (even the ones where he wasn’t the best behaved). Her love for animals is evident and will use Angie again when we are in need of a sitter.”

“First and foremost Angelica was great. This was my first time having her watch my baby. She’s sent me daily updates with cute pictures attached. She took my baby to new places and tried new things with her. Thank you again ?”

“Sylvia was amazing! Great communication staying in contact with us via messages and pictures throughout our trip. Really appreciated her suggesting a quick meet and greet with our dog before we finalized the booking. Would highly recommend her services, so nice having the peace of mind your pet is in great hands!”

“I was able to book with Stacey for my Yosemite trip for our two dogs, one senior and 3-year old. Stacey was everything we needed in a dog sitter, updates, photos, clear communication, understanding of their diet, and meeting their socio-emotional needs. Would book again if we needed a sitter again.”

“Mrs. Ines and her husband took such wonderful care of my baby. She kept me updated on how things were going and responded immediately when I would reach out. Doodles had such a good time, she literally didn't want to leave. We'll definitely be contacting Mrs. Ines again for her services.”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
