“This is for the stop in visits. Allison was wonderful with our very timid dog Lola. She showed up on time, fed her, and patiently let Lola get to know her. We received photos, and several updates on things. Allison was great with her!”

“Tommie took my drop in the day before and even did a video call so I could make sure she’d know where everything was. Communicated well and took great care of my pups!”

“Ren is super responsive and responsible. Great at communication. Even when my cat didn't come out, Ren made sure he was looked after and safe. Will definitely use Ren again if/when I go out of town in the future!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 11 years old and have experience with pets of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs. I’ve assisted with whelping litters, ensuring each puppy gained weight appropriately, met all nutritional requirements, and received attentive care during their earliest stages of life. I also helped with early potty training, socialization, and sensory enrichment to support healthy development. In addition, I have experience caring for elderly pets by providing gentle, patient care, administering medications when needed, monitoring their comfort, and adapting to their changing needs. I treat every animal as if they were my own and pride myself on providing reliable, compassionate, and attentive care. I am a stay at home dog and cat mom so I’m available any time and any day to look after your fur babies when needed. I am more comfortable with taking care of your fur babies from your home just because I do have a senior Great Dane who is not the friendliest toward other doggies.
“Kellie was great! She was quick to respond, on time, and very understanding/patient with our rescued shelter pup and our older dog. She was sure to update with pictures and details for every visit. Our pets loved her. We hope to use her services in the future. :)”

“Anna is a fantastic and reliable house sitter and pet drop in sitter. She is always on time and gives my pets their meds and potty breaks with play time. She took excellent care of my home and pets for a week, and does drop in visits for me as well. My pets all love her so much - even my extremely shy Siamese comes out to play when she comes over.”

About: I have been around a variety of animals most of my life. I am currently training my dog to be a service animal and have previously had a senior dog. With my senior dog, I provided loving care and support as his mobility changed. I am currently minoring in companion animal science, with the intent to become a physical therapist for animals. I am currently a full-time student at NMSU as well as a part-time employee at NMSU. My availability will vary depending on the semester. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have questions about the hours I am available. I can provide potty breaks throughout the day, afternoon walks, kennel them if needed, house sitting, and provide picture updates if you are missing your fur babies.
“Pam and Kathy were rockstar pet sitters for us! We had a water issue the first day they came over. They immediately called me to figure out how to turn it off and I was able to take care of it when we got home. They checked on/played with our cats and made sure they got their appropriate medications. Thank you!”

“I had a weird situation in which the person caring for my animals abandoned them. Michelle was amazing and accommodating, went to my home after maintenence unlocked my place, cleaned up the mess my stressed out old man kitty made in a tub because he was alone for 4 days. Took care of him and the other 3 at the last minute for a week so I didn't have to leave my job (loose my job) and fly home. I was the most stressed out I'd been in years! But seeing the pics she took of my babies eating fresh wet food and playing every day helped me so much. 10000% recommend her and appreciate her and Rover for being here!! This is great app. Being able to see them check in and out, they can post photos and communicate like texting. Really great and will use again instead of depending on family!!”

“Morgan took great care of my two cats when I was away! Sent photo updates every visit, played with them, gave supervised outdoor time on the balcony, and also watered our plants. Highly recommend!”

“Amy and Eli were wonderful with my two cats! I was under the impression that my cats were just kind of antisocial, the pictures Amy and Eli sent daily proved otherwise, they took to them immediately. I was given the utmost peace of mind by the daily pictures and information I was sent that showed that my cats were having the best time while I was away.”

I structure my daily routine around cat pet care, so it's never an afterthought. I start my mornings with feeding, refreshing water, which fits naturally into my day. Midday, I schedule check-ins for playtime or litter box cleaning. In the evenings, I dedicate time for feeding and quality interaction. About: I am a huge animal lover with extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats, having lived with them all of my life! I currently have a dog of my own and take her on long walks twice daily. I love playing with dogs during the day, and keeping cats company with pats if they are interested. I provide trustworthy in-home and out-of-home service, where I will take your dog out for a walk and to go potty, keep them company with play, and can provide training services too.

“Bonnie did an amazing job taking care of my diabetic, anxious cat while I was away. She even did the dishes, and followed up to make sure I was able to make it home safely through the storms. Her wisdom and intuition after 17 years working in veterinary care are priceless. Many thanks!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Mesilla Park
Amy took outstanding care of our diabetic cat while we were away, making sure he was fed and received his insulin injections twice each day exactly as instructed. She was consistently prompt and reliable, which gave us tremendous peace of mind knowing our pets were on schedule. In addition to caring for our cat, she also fed the local community cats that we oversee. Her attention to detail, compassion, and genuine care for animals were evident throughout her visits. Amy communicated well, followed every instruction carefully, and went above and beyond our expectations. We would gladly trust her with our cat again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for dependable and caring pet care! 10 outta 10!

My little kitty loved Kellie, which is a win! Kellie was great. She watched my cat for two weeks and made sure her water and food were filled. She also made sure the litter was cleaned every other day, which is more than what I usually do. She also watered my plants and took the trash out for me! My little fur baby definitely got some loving while I was away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
