“It was my first time leaving baby behind and like always I was having jitters. He was really good at making me feel more comfortable of the idea of me leaving her. He even invited me in, to see where my baby was going to stay and I could tell at first glance that it was a very dog friendly home. He kept me updated with pictures and info on how my dog was doing. I would 100% recommend him to everyone. I for sure will be a repeat customer.”

About: We have been our class's unofficial pet sitters, pet-sitting 4 cats and 4 dogs over the past year. Each pet gets the best treatment, early/late walks to avoid the El Paso sun, tons of play time and cuddles, and reliable care and updates! We are reliably in town over weekends (we love staying in El Paso!). On weekdays, we are usually home at 5:30pm to hang out with and care for your pet. In our home, we have no kids or pets, no sharp objects laying around, and are very neat so nothing bad can be found and eaten by accident!

About: I grew up wanting to be a vet but decided adopting and playing with all the dogs and animals would be better. I love all animals and have 2 rescue dogs of my own. They gets along with other dogs! I have a flexible schedule and would love to help keep your pet company, take them for a walk or come let them out during your busy day. “Mirna was wonderful! My brother was out of town when he had an accident due to a medical emergency, and his dog needed temporary boarding until we could arrange transportation home. That morning, I searched online and found Rover.com. As I looked through the options, I came across Mirna, who was able to meet me for pickup. I was 1,300 miles away from home and unfamiliar with the area, but Mirna understood my situation and met me at the hospital where I was taking care of my brother. Just 15 minutes later, she was booked and on her way to help. With that worry taken care of, I could focus on my brother. Mirna also coordinated with the pet transporter and was willing to board my brother’s dog for as long as needed until they arrived. Her support was invaluable during such a stressful time.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, whether that be my personal family dogs or foster dogs that my family and I have rescued. Growing up around dogs has taught me how to be patient, attentive and responsive to their different personalities and needs. Helping care for foster dogs has also given me experience with animals that may be nervous, shy or adjusting to a new environment. I enjoy spending time with dogs by playing with them, taking them on walks and making sure they feel safe, cared for and hopefully having fun! Because of all of this, I am comfortable working with dogs of different ages and sizes, all are welcome! I’m currently working part- time, so I have a plenty of time for all of the beautiful pets, I hope to come across! I’m free weekends and weekdays after 2pm. I have a wonderful neighborhood and apartment complex that I, myself, love walking around. As well, there’s a very big and beautiful park, less than a mile away from me. I live alone so there’s plenty of room in my apartment to chill or play around. And if your dog likes to swim, I have an apartment pool that allows dogs.
