Shannon stayed in my home and cared for my three animals the whole time and I couldn’t be more happy with how she cared for them. We even have a pet camera and were able to check in from time to time and she treated my home respectfully, my animals as her own, and kept in contact with me as much as I needed! She was never annoyed at how much I wanted to keep in contact, respected how I wanted my animals cared for and just followed through with everything. I truly can’t say enough great things about Shannon and will be using her to care for our babies as long as she’s willing! Shannon is extremely flexible, kind, so so sweet, and a huge animal lover. About: I have been caring for a wide variety of animals my whole life, from cats to horses to dogs of all sizes! Large breeds are my specialty, as I have grown up around Great Danes, Saint Bernards, and Newfoundlands my entire life, and feel very comfortable handling them. I have cared for many senior and small breed dogs as well, so your pets will receive the upmost care no matter the age or size! I love working with as many unique personalities and animals as I possibly can, and will work tirelessly to make sure they receive the care they need. My schedule is often very open, especially during the summer when classes are out, so I will communicate well to work around YOUR schedule! I will do what it takes to get your pets the care they need when they need it. Safety is priority number one when it comes to caring for pets, for both me and the animals. I am sure to follow whatever instructions are given to me to the strictest degree so you don't have to worry about your pets safety while you're away. When going for walks I always maintain firm a firm hold on the leash, even with bigger dogs. I have been walking with large breeds such as Saint Bernards and Great Danes for over a decade, so I feel very comfortable remaining in control. I always carry pepper spray with me as well, just as an absolute last resort in the very rare chance that anything would happen.

Rather this needs to be letting them out into a fenced in yard, walking them off property or on property, taking them out of or putting them into a crate/ kennel. Crate cleanup if needed and dog poo cleanup from your yard each time I have a visit.

About: Bonafide Animal Lover! I grew up on a farm caring for many different animals & have always had either cats and/or dogs in my adult life. Most recent, I cared for our two adult male shepherds in all aspects - training, feeding, walking, nurturing and our two adult cats - training, feeding, activity and nurturing. My caution level for keeping my pets safe and well cared for is very high. They are part of my family. I focus on their daily feeding schedule, ensure the catbox is kept clean daily, play with them (laser pointer and feather toy) for their exercise, and provide lots of love and cuddles too. When I have our shepherds, I walk them daily and play fetch and tug of war with a ball or rope.
About: When I have been a sitter in the past I was in charge of admitting medication few times a day. Feed dogs separates if they had special feedings. I also did overnight stays up to 5 days. I also walked the dogs a couple times a day. I also have watched up to four dogs at a time. I currently very open at this point in time. My availability will be everyday from 10am on to10 p.m. and every weekend I am also available, but my hours are more flexible. A family-friendly pet environment. We also have fur babies here to keep company. We also have four kids for extra love and attention and outside play. We do not have a fenced yard and I also live by a busy one-way
