About: Hello! My name is Ava, i’m 19, and i’m a HUGE dog person. I’ve had dogs my whole life, big and small, lazy and crazy, girls and boys. I also have tonsssss of experience with reactive pups. I’m the main dog walker in the family. I’ve also dog sat for many families and I’ve worked for a doggy daycare/boarding facility. I know how to read body language and how to approach nervous pups. I can also handle leash pullers of any size. My current obsession is fostering. I foster for Journey Home Animal Rescue with my roommates and we are LOVING it. All dogs are good dogs!:) I currently work part time as a lifeguard and my schedule is usually all over the place and never really consistent so my plan is to take clients when i know ill be available. I treat all dogs like they’re my own! I’ve always had a deep connection with animals and i’ve been told it’s because i treat them as if they’re a human. I like to spoil pups any way that i can (walks, treats, playtime, nap time, cuddles, etc.) depending on their preferences because all dogs are different!

About: I have 10+ years of experience pet sitting for both cats and dogs. I have a 3.5 year old pit bull mix who is full of love and energy. We have completed 4 obedience classes and she even has a few AKC trick titles! I have also taken classes to train my own (future) service dog and worked with dog behaviorists. I am very familiar with reactive dogs (my pup is on her own reactive journey!) and am comfortable helping dogs work through that in walks and muzzling if needed. I also have experience with special needs dogs including blind and dogs with amputations. I am happy to make any accommodations your pup needs! All dogs are good dogs!!! I am happy to bath, brush, ear care, and teeth cleaning if wanted for an extra fee. Happy to provide references as well if requested! I hope to meet you and your pet soon! I am happy to come by for as many walks as needed during the day! I can be very flexible and am happy to set up a regular schedule if wanted! I own my own business from home so if I stay in your home, the pets are not left alone for more than a few hours at a time if I run errands or have an event. Because I own my business, I am also able to accept same day booking and help out in a pinch if needed! I am very flexible and willing to enforce any rules you might have for your pet. My dog sleeps in bed with me and your dog is more than welcome to do the same if they are allowed! I can take pups out for as many walks and potty breaks as needed and we will have lots of play time to build a relationship (I believe that is the most important part of caring for animals!)

About: I have had multiple animals under my care from dogs and cats to raccoons and squirrels! I have been in animal care of different aspects for my entire adult life. I want to have flexibility, gain more experience, all while getting my degree in Animal Health and Behavior. I am currently working part time and doing school online! I am very flexible with care schedules but am most available in the evenings after 4pm. Depending on the day, I could do different times but it would need to be discussed since I don’t have the same schedule every week. My cat is very friendly with humans but he is very territorial over his home with other animals and I don’t feel comfortable having other pets in my home at this time. With your fur babies, I want to try and keep them in their routine in your home as much as possible to ease possible stress with separation from you. About: There was never a time a lived without dogs, I grew up taking care of my beloved furry friends and l've taken care of pets for family and friends since I was little. I have experience taking care of elder dogs such as my Maisy and Bell, helping them in walking and eating towards the end of their lives, and I have also taken care of younger dogs like my dog hoss. My love and care for animals has only grown as I have. I am currently a student at UND so I do have classes weekdays but I have plenty of time to take care of your pets most days and weekends. About: Ive been taking care of dogs for a long time. I have a puppy right now that is about two years old named Bauer and he is my best friend. Before Bauer I had two other puppies and I love all dogs. I would love to spend time with your dog take them on walks, drives, feedings, baths, and to the park! About: I’ve always loved animals. I had a lot of pets growing up. I’d often dog and cat sit for my neighbors as a teenager and now I dog and cat sit for friends when possible. I used to have a chihuahua who passed away a few years ago at the age of 16. He was my baby and I miss him so much. Unfortunately I’m too busy to have a pet of my own, but I’d love to walk or watch your dog or cat when possible! I currently work from 8-430 Monday-Friday. I would be able to walk or hang out with your pet when I’m done with work. I’d also be willing to take your pet overnight as long as they’re picked up in the morning. I will be available some weekends and on the weekends I’d be willing to take your pet all day and possibly overnight. I always make sure that my clients pet has fresh water and is fed on time. I also provide potty breaks at least every 2 hours in the day time or as needed. I do not have a fenced yard so if I were to watch your dog at my place I would take him outside on a leash.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
