About: I have lived with animals almost my entire life. These animals consisted of several dogs and cats, a rabbit, guinea pig, chinchilla, hamster, hedgehog, bearded dragon, some fish, a miniature horse, goats, hens and roosters, peafowl, ducks, turkeys, and geese. Oh my! Since August of 2022, I have been house and pet-sitting full-time in nine different states across the US, looking after over 60 homes with a combined total of upwards of 30+ cats and 30+ dogs. Many of these homes also had houseplants and gardens that needed looking after, and I have experience with growing plants from studying horticulture in college (not a single plant has died under my care yet, fingers crossed). I am newer to the Rover platform but can demonstrate my experience to homeowners in interviews and meet-and-greets with pets. During my time pet and house-sitting around the US, I was often told by homeowners that I take excellent photos of their pets (see profile pics). I take pride in the level of care I provide to pets, including the cute photos I take of them. I can hardly take credit, though, as all of the pets I look after happen to be incredibly photogenic. ;) Although I’m no longer traveling full-time, I still like to keep my schedule relatively free to take on pet care because I love what I do. When I’m at a sit, pet care takes full priority of my time and energy and my entire routine revolves around making sure your pets get the care they need. I intentionally choose work that is flexible so that I can prioritize time with your pets. I have always been able to accommodate pets that cannot be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. More often than not, I am present at the home during the entirety of the sit because the opportunity to watch over your pets is a welcomed and rewarding break from the constant movement and change that comes with the travel lifestyle I once had. More on my scheduling preferences and availability: - I am comfortable with longer stays (my longest sit so far has been longer than a month). - I love pet-sitting in rural areas and enjoy driving out from the city. My one condition is that the road to your home should be accessible by most cars and not require high clearance or four wheel drive. I don’t currently offer services in my home (yet). When I care for pets in their own home, I try to replicate their routine as closely as possible to what they are used to at home when their owners are present. I wake up at the same time homeowners do, feed pets at their usual time, and take them on walks when they would typically go out at home. That being said, because this is what I do for a living, I have so much more extra time to spend with pets. I’m often able to give pets more loving attention and care than they typically receive in a household where homeowners leave for work during the day. I’m extremely conscious of any potential hazards to pets that may be around the home and keep a clean environment. Homeowners always report their home being cleaner after they return than when they left it. Safety is a top priority of mine. Since I began house-sitting as a service to others, I have experienced situations where pet health was thrown into jeopardy and I was tested on my ability to respond calmly and effectively. During my first-ever house-sit for a client, I navigated a wildfire evacuation and prepared the property according to the homeowners’ instructions (no animals were harmed and no damage to the property). In an another house-sit on a rural farm, I encountered a possum attempting to steal one of the chickens from the coop and successfully secured the safety of the farm animals and caught and relocated the possum (no animals were injured). I understand that unexpected scenarios pop up and I’m proud to house-sit for pet owners knowing that they can rely on me and feel safe leaving their pets in my care. I usually send photo and message updates every other day for homeowners to see how their pets are doing, but I have adjusted this to more or less frequently depending on homeowner preference. Once during a sit, in addition to regular photo and text updates, I also accommodated frequent video calls for an owner to allow her to talk to her chihuahua while she was overseas. They both seemed to appreciate that very much. :)

About: I have taken care of pets including my own 2 dogs and cat, for a couple years now. I love meeting new pets and playing with them! I am currently an undergrad student at UND. In the summer I work at a daycare caring for infants. I am very flexible on weekends and work a steady schedule on weekdays! I am able to walk, potty, feed, and care for pets in any way they may need on time and just the way you would usually care for you own pets!

About: I grew up on a farm so I have experience taking care of a lot of different animals, from dogs to elk and everything in between My own pets include ferrets, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, parrots, fish, and hermit crabs. I want to help you with any and all of your pet and home needs. All services offered! I'm currently only working part-time over the summer so will have lots of availability to care for your pet as needed. I can work from anywhere so am available for housesitting and in-home boarding of your pets. I live in a spacious house with a fenced backyard in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of enrichment opportunities. When fur babies are in my house, they are just like a member of the family and will get lots of exercise, mentally stimulating activities, and cuddles.

About: I am a dog person to the bone; I grew up around dogs in Montana and have been dog and cat sitting for friends and others for most of my adult life. I also have experience in studying animal behavior and am good at observing dog behavior in particular. I am capable of managing new relationships between dogs and other animals. I am comfortable taking care of any breed and have flexibility in my schedule to accommodate most needs. I am also comfortable with taking care of animals with special needs or medical conditions and I have a vehicle large enough to transport even the biggest dogs in the event of an emergency. My own dog, Ezra (in my photos with big ears, white with brindle markings), is a tri-pawd amputee and is friendly with other dogs and cats. Ezra roams around freely during the day if I have to be away and I never leave him alone longer than 8 hrs. I live in an apartment with easy access to outdoors. There are lots of dogs in my neighborhood and nearby parks to run around in.

About: Ive been taking care of dogs for a long time. I have a puppy right now that is about two years old named Bauer and he is my best friend. Before Bauer I had two other puppies and I love all dogs. I would love to spend time with your dog take them on walks, drives, feedings, baths, and to the park! I am still in school so I am working part time and when I am avaliable I would love to spend my time with your puppy! I do have a very friendly puppy in my home that loves to meet new puppy friends! I would love to have our puppies become friends and bring them to the dog parks, on walks, drives etc.

About: I have always grown up with so many pets! From dogs to cats to lizards and chinchillas to many more. My family has always been big animal people and my brother even became a veterinarian. I am currently a student in PT school and have a month off this summer and am looking for a fun job. I think it would be great to spend some time with dogs and help families out! About: I own two dogs of my own, a golden retriever and a mini longhaired dachshund. I also own a cat that was adopted from Journey Home Animal Shelter. I put my availability for mostly weekend hours, but my schedule can change quite often. As I have pets of my own, it is quite difficult to offer boarding services! My dogs are always inside except for potty and exercise breaks. I always make sure to keep a close eye on them and ensure that I am following any directions given my their owners. About: I just moved back to Grand Forks in December, I’m a registered nurse. I have a mini golden doodle named Paisley and a Ragdoll named Poppy. I’ve grown up with pets always in the house from turtles to dogs. I love to do dog boarding for friends/family, volunteer at a local human society and care for my personal puppy/kitty! I’m currently working full time as a registered nurse! I have weekends and holidays off. I’m looking to do rover part time on weekdays and full time on weekends! I work my regular job 7am-5pm M-F, unavailable during that time. I’m reliable, trustworthy and will take the best care of your pet when you’re gone. As of now I’m starting with pet walking, drop ins and babysitting at the owners house.

About: I have taken care of pets for 15+ years. I have helped my neighbors, friends and family with their pets while they are gone! I have two German Shepherd’s of my own. Never had a bad word on me and my care I’m a in home caregiver so on my free time I mainly spend time with my brothers dog of my cat so would be part time but could make more time if needed I do live in a apartment pet friendly close to dog park and walking park so they would never be bored and would be very loved on
