About: For several years I owned a Doggy B and B where the dogs were part of my family. There were no cages or crates which the owners really appreciated. They slept in bed with me, jumped and lounged on all the furniture, watched TV, ate plenty of homemade treats, went swimming in the pool and don't forget the car rides to the park and river. Every weekend I would shop for new, safe and tough toys. We celebrated holidays and birthdays with homemade pupcakes, presents and costumes. They also got a "report" card saying how their day was and what they did that day or weekend. There were lots of pictures taken and shared too. Areas and toys were thoroughly inspected each day to ensure a safe and fun playtime. I love pets! All kinds of them. Your pet will get my undivided attention. I bring toys & treats plus send lots of pictures while you're away. That way you can enjoy our pawty too. Since I can't have pets in my home, I'll come to your pet's home. I care for them like they are mine. Give them lots of pets, play with toys inside & outside, walk them on a leash several times a day, watch TV with them & most importantly, share the bed at night. I want your pet to feel comfortable & loved by me.

About: I’ve always loved animals and have always helped with family and friends’ pets! While I’d love to have a pet of my own, I’m currently renting and unable to have one of my own so helping others with their pets is a way I can still interact with animals — it’s a win-win for everyone! About: I am currently working at a doggy daycare in Kalamazoo and I have worked at a couple other dog daycare/boarding centers in the past. I love dedicating my time to help these dogs be comfortable, safe, happy and enriched. Some of my tasks at these daycares include: Maintaining a safe and clean environment, reading dogs body language and ensuring they stay comfortable and safe, managing a pack of up to 60+ dogs, basic training, basic grooming, administer medication, and more! I grew up in Indiana with multiple different pets such as cats, guinea pigs, fish, and dogs. I am now in Portage with 2 German Shepherds, continuing my passion of working with dogs and would love to help families and pets meet their needs. I am currently working part time at a dog daycare in the mornings and am usually off around 12. I have a 3 month old daughter that may need to come with during walks and stop ins. I am also free on weekends. I will respect all of the clients and dogs boundaries. Read over any rules and keep in contact with the owner. I focus on making sure we stay safe and happy. I will double check gates and yards to make sure there isnt a possibility of escaping. Double check that all tasks are done properly and on time. And I will make sure to contact owner if there are any issues or questions.

About: I've had a dog since I was 3 and currently have my own 2 year old doggo that I got in Jan 2022. Neighbors and friends rely on me to pet sit for them. I have experience with all sized dogs. I also has experience with cat sitting as well! Me and my roommates currently foster cats. I’m a part-time student at WMU. I class 12-3 on Wednesdays, but other than that I’m pretty much free. I do have a dog of my own and need to care for him as well. I'm willing to do anything the pet needs whether that be making sure the animal take needed meds, changing wound dressings, or running around a dog park. I'm also very patient with animals!

About: Throughout my life I have cared for two cats and a Bichon-Frise/Poodle Mix. I was involved in caring for my dog from the day he came to us: showing him how to use stairs within those first couple of days and teaching commands for the next couple of years. Inevitably he aged, and over time I developed a familiarity with handling the many facets of caring for an aging dog: arthritis, anxiety, mobility challenges, and mood shifts. I learned the tricks for keeping him calm in the car, and those for getting him to take his medications. In all those years I consistently played with him in our fields, took him for walks, and ignored his grouching when I bumped him in his sleep. I love all animals very much, but as an innately energetic person, and as someone who is convinced (like most) that I had the best dog in the world, I find I bond most quickly and most deeply with dogs. I would be thrilled to meet yours. I am a recent college graduate looking for work while I job search. During the day I apply to jobs on my computer. Then, at night, I apply to jobs on my computer. My schedule is almost entirely open. In general I do my best to follow the pet's pace/lead, prioritizing the animal's comfort whenever possible. I follow provided schedules in a regimented manner, and if a schedule is not provided, then I will develop one myself. I take things like medication management and potty breaks very seriously, aware that when an owner is gone, pets are often stressed, and this stress can exacerbate pain and/or behavioral struggles. Regardless of the weather I am always happy to move and be active, so regular walks/exercise with pets is no trouble. As a pet lover, quality time is never an inconvenience either. I am more than thrilled, if your pet is more of a lounger than a runner, to just sit with them and relax.

About: I’ve had animals most of life. Ranging from dogs, cats, gerbils, and fish. They come second nature to me. I have an Australian Shepherd that is 2 1/2 years old, and her name is Andi. I adopted her when she was 4 months, and she is my life. Well I work from home. Typically I set my own hours, but I have the time while working to watch over animals as well. The weekends I am typically home as well as the evenings. I currently have guinea pigs which are caged. My Australian Shepherd is not crated, and has free roam of the home. I do have 15 stairs that go from the entry way into my apartment. I currently have a leash outside in the backyard. I don't use it that much though as my dog Andi has learned to stay in the backyard, off the leash through training.

With a special needs cat of my own, and previously special needs dog, I am no stranger to in home medical care, litter boxes, yard poop detail, etc. Let's talk about your family's needs and how I can support them. I work remotely, with an open schedule to meet your pets needs. I am available for morning, afternoon, and evening needs seven days a week. At this time I only offer care in my clients' homes and dog walks in their general area. Depending on the needs I can perform the following: Feed, medicate, continue existing training habits, walk, clean litter boxes, brush, cuddle, and play. If you are traveling I will also water plants, bring in mail, and alternate lights on in the house to appear as someone is home if desired. My house sitting rates include this care with an overnight stay. Mid Day drops ins can be discussed for an additional cost.

About: I have grown up with tons of animals I have had so many dogs growing up from blood hound to labs to rat terriers to Boston! I love dogs and cat! I am a nursing major, so during the summer I’m pretty much free! I have a wedding over summer but other than that nothing else! I would like clear instructions from the owners of what they are like with other animals as well as the dogs normal routine so I can perform it to the best of my ability!

About: I have been taking care of my own pets since elementary school! I would love to care for your pets as my own! Extra love for doodles :) I am currently home for the summer in between years at Hope College. I will be working during the day, however, I can be available to care for pets in the early morning and afternoons/nights. If your pet is able to go upwards of 8 hours without being let out, I’m the perfect overnight sitter for you! I can follow whichever guidelines my client would like. About: I've had a lot of experience taking care of dogs of all ages. Growing up, we always had several dogs. I would always do the basic stuff you think about, like walking the dogs, feeding the dogs, etc. Ideally, this is what I will be doing for work. I can fit pet care into my schedule and whatever time helps me best do the job. The most important thing would be to follow any directions given to me by the pet owner. After all, they know the pet best. From there, it is about using basic pet care skills that I know I have.

My schedule is varied and flexible, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available weekday from 7am-6pm and Saturdays from 6am-2pm. I have a fenced in yard to keep my three fur babies safe, while they run and play.
