About: I’ve had animals my entire life. My real passion is dogs and I’m focused on dog sitting/boarding/daycare, but I’m happy to take care of cats and drop in for other animals. I have owner trained one at home service dog and am in the process of owner training a public access service dog. I have two yellow labs (one bench, one field), a mixed breed rescue, and a cat. All my animals are very animal friendly. My big lab does take a noisy minute to adjust, but he’s a big sweetheart once he’s got the lay of the land. I have a yard with a living fence and a wooded property where the dogs can be walked if needed. I am home full time and just becoming an empty nester, so I have plenty of time and attention to devote to our furry friends. Most days it will just be me and the animals on our wooded property so there’s plenty of time and room for relaxation and play. I have a fairly large fenced yard and wooded surrounding property. My home is laid back and the animals are treated like family. They are welcome on furniture and have plenty of room to play and toys to play with. I just ask they be on tick and heartworm prevention as there are many bugs in the woods. I have regular experience with basic grooming and administering meds. I have crates available if needed or preferred. I’ll do my best to care for them as you want. Our big lab, George does have some scary looking anxiety upon meeting (barking and growling). If you are boarding/daycare/meet and greet with us, George will be in a pen on leash, harness, and muzzle to start (either inside or outside weather dependent-prefer outside). As your dog explores, I will work with George to adapt to the new situation and eventually greet your dog appropriately. Once that happens, he’s good with appropriate play, boundary setting, etc…. It’s just the initial greeting that needs a little more management.
About: We have a good sized house which we share with our sweet rescue dog, Penelope, 2 kittens, Lilo and Stitch and our almost 2 year old daughter. I offer dog walking, sitting, overnight, part day hang outs and even training! We live near several parks that are dog friendly which we frequent regularly. I've always lived with dogs but began training the family and neighbor's dogs around the age of 10. Your pups will have access to multiple sections of my home, a fenced play yard, and walks over 120 acres of farm fields and streamed woods! About: I have been in the veterinary medicine field for about 4 years now between working in small animal and large animal clinics over the years as well as through school at Michigan State University. I have been trained to minister care for all cats/dogs of all breeds/sizes. If your pet has any health issues such as diabetes or has hit senior years, no worries! New puppy paws running around? Glad to be of assistance to help them learn better manners and play til the nap! I am a full time Veterinary Technician at a local veterinary hospital in Kalamazoo. My schedule is a typical “8-5” job and have an 1 hr break for lunch during that time. I can be very flexible since I have some free days during the week and can provide care for your pets around my schedule. I’m free most weekends but work from 8-2 on some Saturdays. Since I am not able to keep your pets in my home due to space, I will treat your home with all respect. If you have places and boundaries that are set, they will be followed accordingly. About: I love taking care of both dogs and cats! I have a dog and a cat, so I know what other owners are looking for in terms of care and love for their pet. I always look forward to meeting new pets and establishing connections with them, even if just for one visit! I have volunteered for years at various animal shelters and have gained much experience working with all types of temperaments. I am patient and loving with all pets, and I strive to meet their needs in any way I can. I am more than willing to work with pets who have special accommodations, and I am also very comfortable working with puppies (and I can help with training if requested)! I also have experience administrating oral medication in both dogs and cats. I am generally free any day of the week, including weekends. I enjoy taking care of pets because I feel that I understand them and their needs more than the average person. I will be very attentive with your pet, and make sure to send many pictures of them to you! I will interact with your pet based on their needs and how they feel around new people.
About: As of right now i have become available full time for Rover! I have a 9 year old dog and 3 year old of my own very playful and full of energy. There names are Scout and selene. I take animals out at least 3 times a day(if not more) so they will have plenty of time to go do their business and go on walks. I would love to care for your pets in home or for drop in visits. I am available for any type of visit so let me know what your looking for and I can see what I can do! I'll have plenty of time alloted for your pets. Let me know their favorites times for walks, food, play time, etc. I will have them taken care of as if you were taking care of them! Pets will be greated with lots of love and attention, the fur baby and I will follow all instructions left by you the owner and before heading out give them more love and attention. Currently working part time so I'll have plenty of time for any and all fur babies! If you need me there will be there at the times needed! I live in a great apartment complex with plenty of other dogs running around a dog park and even another being built around the corner! Two pups at home to keep them entertained while you are away!
About: We have a good sized house which we share with our sweet rescue dog, Penelope, 2 kittens, Lilo and Stitch and our almost 2 year old daughter. I offer dog walking, sitting, overnight, part day hang outs and even training! We live near several parks that are dog friendly which we frequent regularly. I've always lived with dogs but began training the family and neighbor's dogs around the age of 10. I want to make note that I understand it is a big responsibility to care for someone else's fur child and that I take it very seriously. I am home each day with my young daughter who is great with animals but in case you prefer she stay separate, we have gates and even a heated barn if full separation is needed. Our old girl has free rein of the house, even our kitties get outside every once in a while but we have the ability to set up a small fenced in area or a zip line style tether, and of course walks as needed. We love to snuggle all furry friends but also know some prefer their space.
