“Frances is amazing! Amazing with our crazy frenchies. She is so patient with them. She stayed in touch with us throughout our trip and took great care of our babies!”

Yolanda M.

“Yolanda took excellent care of our fur babies! She provided a lot of photos and always let us know when she was coming and going from our residence. Thank you!!”

Sara R.

“I had to prepare myself for a lackluster welcome from our 2 dogs after being gone over a week. Sara took such good care of them, they were like meh so you’re home again. It was well worth the reception to know they were happy and well cared for. Sara always stays in great communication and is our first choice for pet sitting.”

Victoria J O.

“Victoria is FANTASTIC! We did have a short meet and greet a couple weeks ago, and today was our first time leaving our two babies with her. She sent updates and pictures on a regular basis, and she went above and beyond to make them and us comfortable. We are 100% sticking with Victoria! We highly recommend her!!”

Ericka H.

“Ericka calmed all my fears about leaving my reactive pup with her! She sent me lots of pictures and just took such good care of them! My dogs loved Ericka 🥰 (I’m only begrudgingly leaving this review bc I selfishly want to keep her for myself!)”

Valerie L.

“First time using a pet sitter. Valerie made it easy for us and our furry kids. Made us feel very comfortable being out of town..will definitely use again”

Eli D.

“Eli was nothing short of amazing when it came to taking care of our fur babies. This was our first time using rover and he was great at explaining the different types of services to ensure we had the best care set up for our critters. We booked well in advance and he was great at keeping up communications to ensure our booking was ready to go when the time came. While we were away he sent multiple communications throughout the day including a google doc with all his care details and photos of our pets having a great time with him. Our dog got sick and he made sure to make some extra time to care for him and make sure he didn’t need to see a vet. We will certainly be using Eli in the future, I cannot imagine using anyone else!”

About: As a former middle school educator, I understand that patience and love are key to any interaction. I’ve grown up with pets since I was 8 years old, and I’ve formally dog walked friends and families pets for five years. I keep in touch with all of them as if they were my own. I believe dogs deserve all of the love, patience, and fun. I have experience with small to medium dogs the most, but have also built meaningful relationships with larger dogs. This includes bathing, walking, feeding (and hand feeding), snuggling, and more. My current longest client is 4 years strong and I have even taken them to vet appointments as well as helped the owners research and find the best pet insurance for them. I have also experienced losing a loved dog and know the pain it brings; this reminds me to always give everything I can when in the presence of your fur baby. Whether your baby requires a little more attention or just needs a simple check in, I am here to help and follow your guidelines! BOARDING AND DAYCARE REQUESTS: if you book boarding or daycare in my home, please know I will not have any other pet around. I want to ensure top safety and that your pet receives 100% of my attention. I currently work full time but I am available almost all weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays (except Christmas and NY). I live in an apartment but it is located in a large park with plenty of exercise space and greenery. I will make sure your baby can still receive their exercise and potty time safely! Note to clients further than 12 miles: A $10 travel fee will be added for mileage/gas if you are located farther than 12 miles. When you schedule me, I’ll have plenty of time to be with your fur baby! Please be specific about their needs and yours. I will gladly follow up with any questions to ensure my service is to highest standards. Safety and trust are the utmost priority. While I do have experience with reactive dogs, I truly believe that specific boundaries and safety measures vary on a case by case basis. I will happily review your dogs profile and speak to you to ensure a safe plan is in place before our visit!

About: I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, fish, Guinea pigs and bunny’s as a pet sitter and as an owner for about five years. I am finally going to college to start my journey towards being a vet. Right now I am a vet tech assistant. I love all animals and I am very gentle towards them and I treat them carefully and with respect. I work at a veterinary clinic near Alamo ranch currently. I love it so much. I am doing all things that a vet tech does because I am training to be one. I am knowledgeable about pet care and behavior. I will be accommodating to any routine you have for your animal. I can easily adjust to how you care for your animal and I assure you I will treat them as you do. No animal deserves to have their feelings invalidated because “they’re just an animal.”

Sarah L.

“we have used Sarah before and she always is amazing! Taking on 3 Saint Bernards isn’t an easy task. Sarah is so great with them and always stays at our house for in home services. We recently did an 11 day international trip and she stayed at the house with the 3 saints. It was great and she was always in contact and responsive too. Thank you always for helping watch our 3 saints- they adore you and they fam!”

Dana B.

“We have had Dana over twice now to watch our 10-11 week old Aussie, and we couldn't recommend Dana more! First, she made us feel extremely comfortable not only with her but also her beautiful dog Ranger by stopping over prior to the appointment. Ranger is well behaved and a great role model for our puppy! Second, Dana is amazing while we're away, and will send us pictures and videos of our puppy playing and napping. Overall, we would highly recommend Dana for all your dog watching needs, she is fantastic and really puts your mind at ease that your dog is being taken care of :)”

Mariah B.

“Fantastic! We couldn't have asked for a better house and dog sitter. Five stars all the way! When we returned, our four small dogs were treated like royalty, and our home was in perfect condition. It's clear Mariah genuinely cares, and her love for animals shines through. We're beyond grateful for her excellent care and will definitely be booking with her again. Thanks a million for the peace of mind!”

Leo T.

“Leo did a great job taking care of our pups and house while we were away for a week long trip, everything was clean and orderly when we returned and the pups were well fed and happy to see us!”

Sarah V.

“Sarah was great with my three fur children! She sent pics and updates while I was away. And when I returned I had three happy pups! Will book Sarah again for my next trip!”

Taewon L.

“Taewon took amazing care of our Donut (dog) and Max (axolotl) while we were away. Donut was not anxious to run outside when we got home because he had been walked a ton. We received photos almost daily, and there were no concerns at all. We’d definitely reach back out to Taewon if we need a sitter again!”

Michelle J.
“Want peace of mind while you are away from home? Michelle is a responsible, loving and totally trustworthy human being who will care for your fur babies with an easy, professional yet friendly flair! She is amazing and I know you will love her as much as I do!”

Mel G.

“Mel was very professional and did a great job babysitting my dog! Thanks!”

About: Hello! My name is Naomi and I am a native of beautiful, San Antonio, TX. I love being active with my Schnauzer mix, Ziggy and our hound mix, Hendrix. Both dogs are rescues from local organizations and are my babies! I have years of experience owning dogs and walked dogs for a few years between working for different law firms as a paralegal for my full time job. I like to take my dogs to McAllister Park and sometimes Hardberger. I want to join Rover because I love meeting new dogs and people (but mostly dogs ;) ). When I cared for pups in my home, I looked forward to seeing how my own dogs interact with different dogs because it gives me an insight into my dogs personalities' and what they like/dislike socially. I cannot wait to meet your pup! I currently have a full-time job as a paralegal for family law firm Monday - Friday. If you message me requesting a particular day, I will be happy to work with you and will let you know if there's certain hours I can't meet. I am a true believer that things come up and emergencies happen so I have flexible policies set for all my services. I used to walk dogs for another service here in San Antonio, with 100 + walks completed in addition to advertising my services on Rover. Looking at my profile and only seeing a few reviews would make you click/tap away from me and I totally understand and don't blame you. I opted to pay extra for the special background check to show you that a third party has verified that I have a clear criminal/civil/financial history so you can consider contacting me with a clear conscience! I am available after work during the week and all day weekends for services. Please send me a message if you wish to know more! I do not currently offer boarding but am happy to respectfully care for your furbaby in your home. Please send me a message for further information!
