Availability
I am an elementary school teacher during the school year, so my schedule is very flexible in the summertime. I'm not available for overnights, since I have my own dog at home, but I am available the rest of the day, including most weekends!

Safety, trust & environment
I am a firm believer in a walk at least every 4-5 hours and ample play and exercise throughout the day. Dogs need stimulation, whether that be through tug, fetch, training through tricks, or sniffing walks. Oh, and lots and lots of belly rubs! I can also take care of any hygiene requests including, but not limited to baths, brushing, and teeth brushing depending on the dog.
Information Zoe H. would like to know about your pet
I’ve had lots of experience taking care of senior dogs, one of which was a Rottweiler who needed daily insulin shots. I also have a few tricks up my sleeve to get dogs to eat their prescribed pills if need be. Please let me know ahead of time if you need me to administer any medicine or pay special attention to any medical matters for your dog!
A typical day
Everyday I plan something special for the dogs in my care which might be going to a new place, walking with other dogs, playing tug, or a special treat with some training attached. Most dogs act out because they are bored and so getting ahead of it by keeping them stimulated is very important.

Pet care experience
Hi there! I'm a lifelong dog enthusiast with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all shapes and sizes. I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life- currently, I share my home with the light of my life, Apple - my sweet pup of 4 years. I attend dog training classes every Sunday with her and use top-quality treats to reinforce positive behavior with love, patience, and play. I am also familiar with reactive dog training and advanced tactics to help dogs feel at ease, especially when in their own home environment. My goal is to make every dog feel happy, safe, and well-loved! Whether it's a quick walk or extended care, your pup will be treated like one of my own!
Reviews
Zoe is a wonderful human who loves dogs and animals. She would be a great person to hire to watch your pet! She is responsible, prompt, polite, trust worthy, honest, and caring. She’ll be a great Rover. Wish I could hire her as my permanent pet sitter.
We can't recommend Zoe enough! I have never met anyone who loves dogs - and knows as much about them! - as Zoe does. She did an outstanding job with our two pups Mari and Spencer. She was always on time, went above and beyond with their playtime and exercise, and was just the consummate professional through and through. I can't imagine trusting anyone else with our two doggos! We will be contacting Zoe every time we need an extra hand, and we have told all of our dog owner friends in Norwalk to do the same!
