If there were 10 stars available, I would give every one of them to Zhijin, her husband, and Kiki! Mielie stayed with them for almost two months while we were abroad, and I could not have asked for a more loving and caring home for her. Zhijin was wonderful with updates, always sharing how Mielie was eating, her health and overall well-being, along with the cutest photos and videos. When unforeseen circumstances meant we had to extend our trip, Zhijin was incredibly accommodating and even checked in on us personally during what was a very stressful time. When I finally picked Mielie up, she was calm, happy, fluffy and completely herself — which says everything about the love and care she received. Zhijin even surprised me with the sweetest photo magnets and keychain of Mielie and Kiki. ❤️ Knowing Mielie was so loved and well cared for gave me such peace of mind while we were thousands of miles away. I genuinely cannot recommend Zhijin enough and would trust her with Mielie again without hesitation!
This is Shadow’s second trip to Zhijin’s home. Shadow came back quite upbeat and started making biscuits right away! That again tells me Zhijin takes incredible care of pets and makes even the most skittish ones feel comfortable. Zhijin also sent regular updates with pictures without being asked which I really appreciate. Her space is really roomy for Shadow to come out of her hiding and explore. Highly recommend!
Zhijin took care of Yoki so nice and Yoki enjoyed the time with her. I will definitely request Zhijin again when I go on another vacation in the future!
Zhijin took amazing care of my cat Shadow who has some special needs. Zhijin gave me regular text, picture and video updates without me even asking. She also figured out what environmental changes might be more reassuring for Shadow so she can feel safe and ready to trust. Shadow really liked the make shift bed by the window. Zhijin also had a wonderful departing gesture for Shadow which I really appreciate! I strongly recommend Zhijin without a doubt if anyone is looking for a sitter. I really appreciate her dedication and empathy to understand the animal’s needs and feel safe leaving Shadow with her.

We are so grateful to Zhijin for accepting our last-minute request to board our cat on such short notice. Zhijin was incredibly accommodating and even kindly agreed to add an extra night when we decided to extend our trip which we truly appreciated. Throughout Mielie’s stay we received thoughtful updates showing how quickly she adjusted. She started eating right away explored the home comfortably and even began interacting with Zhijin’s cat. It genuinely warmed my heart to see how at ease Mielie was. What meant even more was that when we brought her home she settled straight back into her routine as if she had never been away which speaks volumes about the level of care she received. Knowing Mielie was so well looked after made our time away completely stress free and we will absolutely be using Zhijin again in the future.

Schedule
I work full time but have availability early mornings, evenings, and on weekends/holidays. Pet care is a joyful part of my routine and a great way to start or end the day.

I live in a two-level townhouse with a fenced yard in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Pets can enjoy a dedicated first floor for their comfort and space. We’re just a 5-minute walk from trails and a park, perfect for daily walks and outdoor time. I ensure a calm and secure environment tailored to each pet’s needs.

A typical day
Mornings start with a brisk walk to the park for fresh air and playtime. Back at home, we’ll enjoy puzzle toys or fetch for mental stimulation, followed by cuddles or quiet time. Evenings wrap up with another walk and a wind-down routine—whether it’s grooming, treats, or gentle play. For high-energy dogs, I incorporate extra runs or agility games, while older pets get leisurely strolls and cozy naps. Every day is tailored to your pet’s energy level and personality!

My preference is for breeds that are social and adaptable, but I’m happy to accommodate shy or anxious pets with patience and care. Please share their feeding schedule, medical conditions, favorite toys, or any triggers (e.g., loud noises, other animals) so I can ensure their comfort and safety. For transparency and safety, all outdoor walks are recorded with a sports camera—this protects both your dog and me, and you’re welcome to request footage anytime.
