I strongly prefer to meet dogs in advance and learn about them in person from their owners! I have done dog sitting in the past without meeting in advance and it makes your fur baby way more anxious to deal with a stranger coming to their home without a prior meeting. In an emergency, I can understand working around that, but in every other case we need to meet and cover your dogs quirks in advance. Cats, they just don't care as much as a general rule which servant tends to them... lol.

Depending on YOUR area we will likely walk near your home, being rural there is always a new grove to explore and spots near the Roseau river nearer town are always great, including the City Park.

Life long animal lover wanting to do more 'free lance' type work. Taking care of peoples fur babies when they can't seems like a natural fit for me - our neighbors dog sparked the idea, he'd rather be at our house all day when his family is at school and work than home alone, so he brings himself over! We joked we were becoming a doggie daycare, so why not make it official? I have experience giving meds to both cats and dogs, and tune in quickly to their sensitivities and needs. I can be the next best thing to "mom & dad" for the animals I care for and fostered in the past. I will learn their favorite toys, places to be scratched or petted, preferred way to "mix up their food" if that is needed, and all their favorite routes for their walk. Call and discuss your specific needs with me today. I have had "special needs" cats and dogs of my own in the past and am likely able to help you care for yours. I know it's not always possible to take our fur babies to a standard boarding kennel due to anxiety or other special needs.

I live down the road from Yvonne. When I leave for work in the morning, my dog heads over to her house and she takes care of him for me until I return home at night. He is well cared for and loved while there.
