Inside my place, I have multiple gates set up to keep pets and family members separate. There is one gate at the door to prevent pets from running out while I’m opening it. A second gate divides the living room and kitchen to prevent pets from counter surfing. The last gate is in the hallway to keep pets and family separate from my toddler to avoid accidents. Please keep in mind that I do not allow clients inside my home for meet and greets, as it would be a danger to everyone. Meet and greets should be conducted in an open environment to avoid making your pet feel trapped and reacting defensively as I try to warm up to them. No matter how friendly your pet is or how well you know them, based on my experience and Rover's recommendations, this approach has yielded the best results. I’ll gladly send pictures or videos of my home if you are curious about the inside.

Please be open and honest about your fur baby to avoid accidents. If your fur baby isn't friendly, that’s okay—humans aren’t always friendly either. If there are areas where your fur baby doesn’t like to be petted, that’s fine too—humans have their preferences as well. If your fur baby is on medication, that’s also okay. The more detailed and honest you are about your pet, the better we can avoid accidents. Your fur baby is unique, just like you and me, so give them a special experience while you’re away so they can feel at home, even when they are away from home.
A typical day
Typically, my day starts at 6 a.m. They will have breakfast, followed by a bathroom break and, depending on the weather, a morning walk. Once back inside, if they have toys, we can engage in playtime. If they are not interested in playing, I have plenty of love to give. The afternoon will follow a similar routine, minus lunch, and we'll walk if the weather permits. In the evening, we will all have supper, go on our final bathroom break, and end the night with cuddles. Of course, if there are specific activities you want your fur baby to engage in, I don’t mind. The more specific you are, the better 5-star experience I can provide. I can also pick up medication for fur babies if needed.

(To Answer This Common Question, I am JOHN & YUSUF.) 09/16/2023 To address the one bad review, I believe in transparency and honesty, but unfortunately, it was a miscommunication. I got into a motorcycle accident, and my phone was damaged. At that time, I asked her to please only communicate through Rover. On the day of the booking, she never reached out to me on Rover, and unfortunately, the door was never knocked on. She finally replied on Rover, and I asked her if she would like me to pick up her pet. She declined those services as well. I offered a full refund and apologized for her experience. My rates are low because I do not believe you should have to pay a high price to go on vacation or attend an important event. My business, GenesisPaw, is designed to give you high-quality experiences at a fraction of top-dollar prices. I believe all pets deserve a new beginning: to be rehomed, trained, loved, and groomed to their content. So give them an experience they'll never forget while you’re away from home. If your pet is a senior or experiences epilepsy, please let me know! Cleanliness is extremely important to me, not only for sanitary reasons but It’s important that your pet is in a safe and clean environment. If your fur baby hasn’t been washed, please allow myself or one of the professional groomers I have on speed dial to wash your fur baby. I also have an emergency vet line I can call if anything ever happens or if I need guidance to care for your baby while you’re away. Rover also has a dedicated line for emergencies.

Yusef was amazing! My husband and I had to come to Ohio for a funeral and needed someone last minute to watch our dog, Flex. Yusef was kind, flexible, and took Flex out for a fun day, which gave us so much peace of mind. He turned a very stressful day into something easier by caring for Flex as if he were his own. We’re so grateful and would absolutely recommend Yusef to anyone in need of a thoughtful, reliable sitter.
We made our reservation thinking our dogs would be on Straight St near the University of Cincinnati campus. As we neared Cincinnati, I received the question as to whether this address or Miamisburg would be better. When we responded Straight St, we were told that Yousef would be in a White Tesla with flashers on at 350 Straight St. We were starting to feel uncomfortable but went through with the reservation after meeting Yousef and him saying that he had a property here and in Miamisburg. So we trusted and let him take our dogs to Miamisburg. It got real uncomfortable when Yousef didn't respond to my message through Rover at 6pm that evening. We got the dogs back about 3:30 Sunday. I looked up 350 Straight St and there was nothing listed on the county auditor site. I also didn't find his property on the Miamisburg county auditor site. It is also interesting to us that his company website doesn't list any addresses when he stated that he was also in Columbus Ohio among other cities. In spite of his positive reviews and that our dogs were returned fine, there is just something off. We won't be using Yousef again.
